Food- 1st time we came, we loved the pizza, but now its been 5 bad experiences in a row! The pizza has not been getting cooked correctly, the dough is so thin that you can barely pick up the slice because its just oil and slop. We ask for light ricotta on the Luigi and it still comes out with giant piles of it on each slice. Service- always nice servers. We came here because we had a gift card to use. Initially walking into the restaurant is smelled like a garage with fumes.. not sure if it was because they had the patio open or what. It didn't linger at all and was gone before we ate. They had one waitress working at lunch. She had both outside and Inside tables. She did a decent job at keeping up with tables, but service was slower. A second waitress showed up when we were leaving. They didn't have a kids menu but the waitress explained the kids menu. My son ordered cheese pizza. We ordered the lipari pizza. The pizza was excellent but I am fan of garlic based pizza. I have had their red sauce before but I wasn't a fan. Personal preference. Todays pizza was excellent. The menu prices were moderately priced. With inflation everything is expensive now and a pizza for 22 is about the going price now. Your "Ferrari Crash Plate" crashed and burned! Your attempt at the famous Rochester Garbage Plate fell short of the mark. The Mac salad was warm and appeared to have been made to order (at least I hope it had not been sitting out long enough to get to room temperature). In fact it was the same twirly noodle that was used in my wife's Macaroni & Cheese dish. I suspect that you have the noodles already cooked and use them in both dishes as needed. Mac salad should be made ahead of time, refrigerated and given time for the seasonings to meld together. That was not the case. Also, there were too few onions and you were light on the meat sauce. I ate half of the plate in the photo. You'll struggle to see any more than two chopped onion pieces on the uneaten side and can see how the meat sauce was confined to the top of the burger. read more

Ferrari's is one of the few sit down restaurants in Chili for dinner and one of the better options. We tried three different pies. I forget the names, but one was artichoke, one had chicken chicken, and one was more traditional with sausage. All were super good and provided a nice variety. We also tried the calamari and that was solid too. Can't speak to the non-pizza options on the menu, but if you're looking for a nicer pizza spot on the west side, this is worth the stop! read more

Decent pizza joint with good quality ingredients and a nice thin crust. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start which was good and had large chunks of artichoke in it. The tortilla chips were a little chewy but the dip made up for that. I ordered a speciality pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños and honey which was good but I unfortunately didn't taste any honey on it. My fiancé ordered a make your own pizza with various toppings like chicken, bacon and broccolini which was delicious. The kids chicken tender meal was a little disappointing as the fries were super small/thin and the chicken tenders didn't have much meat. Friday night with the girls and stumbled upon this restaurant. They are known for their big selections of pizza. I decided to try to philly steak sandwich. It was a big sandwich served on toasted Martusciello roll. I was a bit disappointed as the sandwich was dry. The french fries were yummy and washed it down with the Lemonade cocktail. Then we were escorted to an outside patio table, where we waited for 10 minutes with no server in site. The past few times we've eaten there, the place has been dirty and the service very slow..I don't know if the problem is not enough help or what. Really cool place to watch the game, they have a nice patio with a fire place. They have a yellow Ferrari hanging up on the inside you can walk under it. They have a wood burning stove for their pizza. I was really wanting pizza but found out the don't do gluten free:/ I ended up getting garlic parm wings which were cooked in the wood burning stove really delicious definitely would get them again. I did get gypped though, I wanted all wings no drums and got the opposite. I was also supposed to get 12 and got 10. As a person who visits twice a year from Vegas I find that a good wood fired pizza is hard to find there. I normally frequent another woodfired pizza place in the city on East Ave. I have a Rochester bucket list if you will if I'm in town. It consists of places I HAVE TO GO TO. A friend brought me here for lunch last Sunday. I had a pizza with red sauce, mozzarella and ricotta topped with pepperoni. This is the second time I have been to Ferrari's. Both times the service and food have been great! Today the service was fantastic! We came in and found out our waitress was not only the bartender, but also, the ONLY server for the ENTIRE restaurant! To be honest, this made us automatically think that the service would be slow and the food would take forever to come out (it was the lunch rush and half the restaurant was as full). Our server ended up being friendly, prompt and at no point made us feel like she was in a hurry (which she obviously was). Our food came out quickly and tasted great! OK. 1. The Seared Mac & Cheese should be declared a national treasure. 2. It should be outlawed in all 50 states! My daughter ordered it, i tasted it and wanted to bury my face in the bowl.
