On Mother's Day when we walked in to take Mom out for Mother's Day we were surprised to find both our elderly parents sitting in a Hot House fanning themselves. The A/C went out on them and they didn't want to "bother anyone" Well, first call to Fetch A Tech and they put an Emergency Rush for someone to come out to check it out. Well were told it would be between 2-4pm but were surprised when they called back in 10 mins and said someone could be out between 10-2pm. We were just happy someone would be out to check out the situation. When Jacob came out he found out that the Blower was out and oil had leaked which tripped the circuit breakers. Jacob came back in a couple of days and changed out the Blower with another along with a New Thermostat. We cannot say enough about Jacob and Fetch A Tech. They were prompt, professional and above all, cared. They went above the call of duty in their immediate response during a very Hot Week in May. I have no complaints about the work, it was done fine. When it came time to pay, the technician showed me a price, then told me he would take off the 10% pet discount they offer. When I checked the charge later that day, I was charged about $130 more than it was supposed to be. I brought it to their attention the next day, they said they'd take care of it. they were quick to get a technician out to my place even at an odd hour of night to help with my leaking water heater. the people on the initial phone call were incredibly polite and so was Klayson the technician they sent out. He was really nice and took the time to explain some things I didn't know about water heaters, he did a bit of work on the heater (drained and removed it from its stand) in prep for a replacement. In the end we decided to not purchase the replacement through them as the prices seemed steep was quoted about 5k for a replacement and 16k for a tankless replacement. There was no pressure, or any sort of tactics used to try and make us change our minds they simple said thank you and let us know if you need us in the future, very professional! read more

The two plumbers who came were very nice, but that's the only good thing I can say about the experience. We had them out to look at our garbage disposal. They barely looked at it, declared it unfixable. Tried to sell us an annual plumbing inspection, a water softener (easily thousands of dollars) system, and an $800 replacement garbage disposal. We unfortunately paid them $69 for the privilege of being scammed by the company. We went to Amazon and bought a $10 tool and fixed the garbage disposal ourselves with no issue. On December 24 during the heavy rain in Las Vegas we developed a leak in our hallway coming from the air vent which is located directly below our rooftop AC unit. I called Fetch a Tech for assistance. Their response was "It's probably a roofing problem." My husband and I are both 75 years old. We spent the last year and a half coping with my husband being treated for cancer - chemo, surgery, radiation, and recovery. During this time we were serviced by Fetch a tech for AC repairs, new duct work, installation of insulation to the tune of many thousands of dollars which we paid off promptly with many monthly payments. I wasn't asking for immediate assistance during the downpour. Just the possibility of a visit to see if there might be a leakage problem around the AC unit. I held two contracts with this company after they bought out the company I previously contracted with. After several incidents of substandard service and being told I needed to do work that did not need to be done, I cancelled both contracts. Since one contract was not close to the renewal date, they asked me to keep the contract active and allow them to earn back my business. I said yes, only to have the same sort of incidents repeat themselves. So I cancelled the contact that was not close to renewal. Months later, I discovered I'd been charged $299 for an annual membership. Several calls later, and no resolution. I told them exactly why I was cancelling in a blunt but not disrespectful way. I remember it clearly but I did not get confirmation. I would not recommend working with this company. After inspecting our system, we were quoted anywhere from $4,000 for a control board repair to $28,000 for a complete replacement. Wanting a second opinion, we called another company. Their technician thoroughly assessed the unit and determined the problem was much less serious than originally presented, saving us from potentially unnecessary expenses. Additionally, after the first visit, we discovered that a watch valued at approximately $1,000 was missing from our home. We had our home repiped. The plumbers did an excellent job, we were very happy with the work they did. Then came the inspection, that went well. Then a few weeks later we finally got the drywall & stucco done. Fetch- a- tech did it all! The 2 men that completed the job ( the drywall, stucco, paint) were the BEST!!! 3 years ago I became a first time home owner, upon purchasing my new build my HVAC systems were not done properly by a company I will not name, I was recommended by family and friends to look into fetch a tech. within these past two years, I have had nothing but good experiences between HVAC Techs and the plumbing department. each time that the techs have entered my home, they have worn shoe covers, answered all my questions, and addressed any and all concerns I have had. Even during times I have not been able to upgrade systems, I have never felt pressured or sold by this company. Scam. Called and got quoted 16k for a new system. You don't think right when your A/C goes down in the summer. Can't sleep, stuck in that hot heat mindset. Presently: have had to keep calling them ever since they installed my new A/C. The day after, their new A/C stopped working. Then had to call because of a loud noise it was making. They did not show up and I had to call again. Then the heater wouldn't work. Every few months I have had to call for their new A/C they have installed because there seems to be a problem. Do not let the charm and seemingly professional attitude of these incompetent idiots fool you. They are well known for overcharging for services. I had so much more than an inflated bill. When cutting into the shower wall granite, the operator didn't put up any barrier to block the silica dust from spreading through my entire house. Granite contains respirable crystalline silica (RCS), a hazardous material that can cause fatal lung disease, including incurable silicosis, lung cancer, and COPD. Granite contains 10-45% silica, posing significant risks to workers if proper wet-cutting, ventilation, and respiratory protections are not strictly enforced. There was so much dust in the air I couldn't see the other side of my bedroom. Fortunately I had the understanding of the dangers, and put on appropriate PPE, I.E. a full face respirator. Unfortunately the man cutting the granite didn't ( he had a paper mask on that MAY be NIOSH approved , but the dust must have clung to his clothes and I believe a full face respirator should be the minimum requirement, however I am not aware of the protection his mask provided him; I offered him a spare full face respirator and he refused) and didn't use water, air filters or cheap painters tarps to section of the work area. I swept up afterwards, however I have noticed my breathing has steadily declined since the "work" was performed. The other issue is when I complained about numerous inconsistencies with the work, such as cutting into the new fixtures because there wasn't enough clearance for the shower handle and the spout for the handle to turn all the way; instead of spending the time to move the handle up which should be fairly straightforward for a COMPETENT plumber, they made a cutout with a grinder on a newly purchased fixture, and sealed it with visible epoxy. When I complained about the issue that I called them out for; a sever leak somewhere, and when they turned the water back on and quickly left, the leak clearly wasn't fixed. They sent out the inspecting technician to confirm that the water leak wasn't covered and that wasn't part of the entailed work. So I ended up with potential contaminants in my home, a poorly appearing fixture that cost $2600 including services, and a company that refused to do anything about it. Fetch-A-Tech seems to only be qualified to fix sprinkler heads in the garden and that might even be a stretch. DO NOT HIRE THEM, based on my own experience. Were they nice? Yes, and their scheduling operators are professional, however its possible that their large group of plumbers require them to overcharge so they can keep their inflated business practices afloat, and possibly to cover insurance claims and canceled credit cards for when they are sent to fix something that A true professional should be handling. When another plumber came out and actually fixed the gushing water leak, he took a picture of the shower fixture work, shook his head and laughed and asked "WHO did THAT?" when i told him, he said "oh, well that doesn't surprise me, the forum will LOVE this one. Is it ok to post it to my group chat?" If you find some websites or the BBB saying they are a 4.7 star company, do not believe these lies. THEY WERE THE WORST! read more

Then came the sell job - the tech said I needed to get a new toilet since my water flow was not strong enough. Which seemed strange as it had worked fine for the past 5 years. To replace with a regular toilet $1000 or a power flush $2000. I needed to think about this it seemed extreamly expensive. I agree the toilet was not flushing a full capacity - well some how the water valve was turned down to almost no water coming into the tank. Once I turned that back up - everything is just fine. After somewhat assessing the situation and continuously consulting with lady in office, it was determined that probably the only thing would be to replace the water heater which included extensive repairs because of the age of the property. Suspecting something suspicious, we declined the offer. THE NEXT DAY WE CONTACTED ANOTHER COMPANY. We contacted this company due to a clogged kitchen sink that wouldn't drain and we needed it snaked (we where crystal clear about that) When the salesman in a plumbing technician clothes show up at the very end of our appointment window showed up, the " fun" began. He walks into our home with a tiny tool bag a flashlight and a laminated card which I assumed and was correct was his sales pitch for their monthly service plan. After assessing the issue in around 10 min, taking information from my wife and calling a coworker on speaker phone they come up with a estimate of around $3k to clear the drain and additional work. During his phone conversation I kept hearing whoever he was talking to say to "comp them this or comp them that " When we told said salesman in technician clothes we didn't have the budget for additional work and just needed the line clear and have a kitchen we could use. He told us he would need authorization to do that and another tech would be called but it would be that day. Well, that company no longer existed and was bought out by Fetch-a-Tech. I called and set up an appointment. They were actually quite quick. Tech comes and after doing diagnostic claims I needed a whole new system. I explained I just bought the house and moved in. He was saying he could call his manager and get me financing on a new system, cut me a great deal. I paid the appointment service fee (was like $35), and told him I'd be getting a second opinion. I did get that second opinion. Turned out all that was needed was a new compressor and the replacement cost was under $200 for parts and labor. Two years later, my system is running fine, and I smile every time I remember I didn't let myself get ripped off for thousands by these high-pressure scam artists. Funniest part? My HVAC went out during a 100 degree week in Las Vegas. Called Fetch a Tech to see what the problem was. They came out next day and diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately my unit was older and running on a now unavailable freon R22. This meant that my system needed to be replaced. Set up the replacement and Zach,David and Mitch were there the next morning at 8am. By 3 they had replaced the entire system including air handler and furnace. They were professional clean and quick. Made an appointment today at 3pm as they were able to get me in, I was shocked how quickly they could get me in. They scheduled me between 5 to 7 pm today 6/09/2026. I had called 7:15pm checking status when the tech would be here as I needed to run a quick errand and I was told he was running late with the job he was on, but that I was next after he was done and that I would be ok to run my errand and they would call me when he was on his way. I received a text at 8:39 that Jorge Garcia was my Tech, so I am thinking he is on his way. Then I noticed I had a missed call at 8:40pm, but no one left a message. Then I seen another missed call from a different number at 8:59pm which I called back right away thinking it was him, but it was Fetch's # and I requested to have the tech text me as my phone sometimes recognizes calls as spam and I also asked that it's so dark outside, how are they doing to be able to check anything. I didn't get an answer on that, but that they would relay the message for the tech to text me. Now it's 9:40pm STILL NOTHING. I called upset that how can my appt take this long when I was scheduled between 5 to 7pm and now it's almost 10pm and that people do have to work. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I said to just cancel my appointment and that this was just bad business and hung up. This is so unprofessional and then getting closer to being 3 hours late after your 5pm to 7pm window appointment time is ridiculous. Conduct better business and contact your customers if your tech is running late, by calling or texting them with updates rather than not hearing anything at all and wonder if they might not even show up. Then they hit me with a 10,000 price for new system, which included taking away the old one and possible financing costs. Afterwards I found a much better system and installation company for 1/3 the price. I had a scheduled service today for my HVAC system and gladly i was able to schedule it today. Benjamin Arroyo, the tech, who did my tune up on my AC was very friendly. He informed me that the ACs refrigerant is really low now and the AC is running high, (plus its a 25+ AC what did i expect, i know sooner or later this day will come, lol).. I was happy with his service and he was able to call his manager to talked to me about replacing the AC system and talked to me about the qoute. Bronco, the manager came right away. He was very friendly and personable. When both of them went inside my house, they were very friendly with my fur babies. Anyway, Bronco worked with me regarding my finances and able to get an approval for financing right away. I got approved and he scheduled it the next day, knowing that it will be hot the next few days. Mind you, when i came home after errands, my AC Stopped running... lol! Anyway, i cant complain with the service from Benjamin A. and Bronco (the manager), they were both personable and made sure I was taken care of as a customer. I had a problem with my water softener, I was hesitant to call a plumber because it seems they do not know much about water softeners. And I admit I am pessimistic thinking people will try to upsell me b/c I have experienced it many times before. This unfortunately was true again today. I have to say that the two people that came were extremely nice and pleasant but seemed they were salesmen rather than technicians. I know they were just doing their job and what they were told to do so I guess I cannot blame them. However, it does make me feel bad for the people that get taken advantage of or cannot do a little research. So, I paid a service call fee for a sales pitch rather than trying to fix the problem. They did not even look at my softener and just gave me quotes to buy new equipment or remove mine. I was told that water softeners could not be fixed. I called the service line later that day and asked them if they fixed water softeners and they said "they were told water softeners couldn't be fixed." I wish I was told this when I made the first call and I would have called someone that can do more than replace things. So instead of relying on the "professionals" which I rarely do, I did my own research all day and realized I needed to replace both the motor and cam gear. The gears on the softener were plastic and I replaced it with metal. This cost me $70. I attached the pictures as you can see, they were stripped. I had originally only replaced the motor however did not replace the cam (the metal motor will not work with a plastic cam). I was not thinking about replacing the cam since I do not do plumbing everyday like they do. This is why I called a plumber to see if they would help me trouble shoot it and I would pay them to fix it. But instead, I was only provided with what I felt as overpriced replacement options. I am sure the water softeners they sell are way better than mine. But I could buy 12 of the one I have for the price of one of theirs. And plus, mine has been doing the job with no signs of resin in the pipes, etc... So, I hope this helps save some people a lot of money and time. Tech came and quoted $3,400 to replace about $50 of ABS pipe. When I told them that was ridiculous they magically came back with a price around $1,100. The extortion was obvious was i told them to take a hike. A competitor came and did the work in 1 hour for $730. Unfortunately, Fetch-A-Tech still charged me $70 for sending the technition to try and extort me. No legitimate quote for work was ever provided. I would stay away from this company. read more

Got a quote to replace my tank water heater to a tankless water heater. The guy came to my house and quoted me $14,000! That's insane. I ended up buying one myself and installing it with a little elbow grease and my DIY knowledgeable father. Total cost all in: $1168. Not sure how they get away charging x13 the cost. A friend of mine, also living in Sun City Summerlin, paid $1400 with the same priced water heater. He had the same installation as mine, so $600 to install seems more like it should have been. Please beware of the overcharging Fetch-A-Tech will do. We were in a hurry to get our leaking water heater fixed, so didn't have time to shop around. read more
