I recently left my position with Fetch after 3 years since I am starting to see the new owners really don't care about the pets - just about the money. They keep raising their prices on the clients and are turning over new dog sitters like crazy. They don't seem to be screening their new dog sitters well and many of my clients had been making pretty scary complaints about a few of the sitters (and about one in particular - Debbie), which the company somehow still hasn't fired. Many of my clients left the company due to these bad experiences. There are still a handful of good sitters who work with Fetch- if you decide to use the company, screen your dog sitter very well and go with your gut. read more

PLEASE LOOK AT THE DESTROYED FOOD CONTAINER IN MY PICTURES. EDIT: Now they are trying to rewrite history. This is their reply to my complaint with the BBB. "Mr. Boyer stated over phone that our sitter Debbie abandon his dogs after her first visit but given the chain of events, there is no reason to assume that Debbie did not visit with the dogs on Saturday and then possibly left the door open that evening for the dogs to get the food. The next morning, a different sitter arrived and informed Mr. Boyer that the dogs had gotten into the food. The dogs were never abandoned." The hilarious part of this reply is that Debbie was also tasked to visit them on Sunday, 9/4/2016 at 9AM and 6PM and Monday 9/5/2016 9 AM and 6 PM. I happen to have the texts from Debbie, which I will post. She informed me that my dog pooped six times on Sunday, September 4th. He has never done this in his entire life, and at this point I would assume he broke into the food. On September 5th, when she was tasked with feeding and walking both of my dogs at 9 AM and 6PM there was no mention of abnormalities (please check the screenshots). There is absolutely no way she wouldn't have noticed my dog had broken into the food, considering they chewed the container apart and tipped it over. On the morning of September 6th, my trusted dog walker contacted me to let me know that there was an issue. I returned home from my vacation on the evening of September 6th (their timeline doesn't make sense). My dogs had no water, there was feces throughout my house, and the food container was destroyed. My trusted dog walker has since quit the company. I would reiterate, it took 2 days for the owner of the company to contact me after all this happened! When I told them what they owed me, they tried to weasel their way out of payment. I finally got them to pay for the "visits", destroyed food container, and the food. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. BTW Debbie still works for the company, they didn't fire her! EDIT Beware the new owners. I used Fetch for nearly three years with absolutely no issues. My dogs adored their sitter, and the communication was excellent. With the new owners things got steadily worse (a lot of dog walker turnover) and I was thinking of canceling but I had a vacation lined up and couldn't replace them until afterwards. Biggest mistake I ever made. When I got home there was urine and feces all over my house. To clarify, my dogs are potty trained and have NEVER done that before. The pet care provider (Debbie) had left open the door to the food, so I came home to a destroyed food container and my dog ate two weeks of food over the course of three days. He was so sick and bloated that he was having trouble breathing (see: http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/gastric-volvulus-bloat-dogs) and went from 35 lbs to 45 pounds over the course of one weekend. The dog walker was supposed to be feeding them twice a day, so she should have noticed an overturned food container. She even notified me three days before my return that my dog was pooping more than usual. The only conclusion I can take is that she was not providing the agreed upon service, because this problem is easily remedied by closing the door to the food. When confronted she claims that the door was closed, however there is no damage to door, and I have kept their food in the exact same location for years. I have been with them for 3 years, and probably spent at least 5,000 dollars (I have daily walks during work weeks). The owner has yet to contact me. Thus far they promised to replace the food and the container, but not refund the service. Meanwhile I can't go to work today because my dog is so sick he needs to go to the vet. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau as well, I will update this review if there is resolution. read more

Moving to a new city can be stressful. But the most stressful part for any animal lover is whether you can find a care giver that you can trust and that in my case, my dog will bond with as well. I did exactly that when I found Kim and Taso Louloudis from Fetch. My dog who hates to get into cars, jumps into their "Taxi" without any encouragement. It's to the point now that anytime he sees a white van he has to immediately go over to see if it is theirs. I work for an airline and at times have an unpredictable schedule and Fetch has been amazingly flexible and responsive to our needs. Also rescued me when I got locked out of my condo...huge thanks on that one! :) I can't say enough great things about Fetch, our new addition to my dog's support system..:) I recommed them to everyone I know who needs someone to take care of their canine family members at the same level as I do...which is extremely high. I was a nervous wreck leaving my pets in the care of a stranger but I have to say Kerri from Fetch is EXCELLENT! My girls adore her and she took excellent care of them. My dog, who will not normally walk so well with strangers did awesome with Kerri. She sent me a text every day to let me know how they were doing and left me a detailed report for me to read when I got home. She also sends me photos of my critters while I am away. Kerri is always accommodating to my travel plans. It is a HUGE relief to know that next time I leave town my critters are in good hands. I am free to enjoy my time out of town thanks to Kerri and that means the world to me! read more

My husband and I have used Fetch for two years. We have now severed our relationship with them. There are several reasons why. Our latest trip was a nightmare. We went to the Keys for a week. When we stopped for groceries about 10 miles from our place, we got a call from our sitter asking us for our key!! Really????? On one of the busiest pet sitting weekends of the year, he told us that the managers who HAD our keys were out of town. Then, it turned out the pet sitter who had watched our dog and cat some three weeks prior had the key. I don't know about you but having the key to my house floating around and seemingly unaccounted for does not inspire great confidence. Thats just the start. We asked the sitter to wheel our garbage cans to the curb. He did...but we came home to a garage door with a broken lock...and easy access to our home for anyone who wanted in..sigh. we also asked our sitter to water the back garden. When we got home, halt of it was on life support. We took our dog with us on vacation but for obvious reasons left our cat at home. When we came home, her dry food dish was completely empty (never happens) and she was way more social than we've seen her in some time...cat people get this, I think. When we started with Fetch, it was a good service. Now, it's just a nightmare. I'm not even going into the drama surrounding our summer vacation when we had five strangers we had never met tramping through our house....sigh. Bottom line...pey service is based on trust. Fetch doesn't have a clue. We're done. Don't put yourself through this...seriously. read more

I hired Fetch! after my other pet sitter bailed on me so it was on fairly short notice. Becky came out about a week before our trip for the consultation and to meet my two dogs. She took time to make sure they knew her scent and even took extra notes. She also provided food and water for our three cats which I am sure were in hiding the entire time she was there.. She was very good about returning text message and took in our mail. We will definitely use Fetch! again. read more

My family recently went out of town for 8 days and left our 3 cats at home, we found Fetch online and used them for the first time. I was very happy with the efficiency and care that Fetch provided. I got updates the whole time and had no concerns at all during my time away from home. Call Fetch first and you will not have to make another call! After several other companies not even bothering to return my call, "Bring Fido" suggested I call Fetch while vacationing near Disney World. Ornella, the Office Manager, was prompt and friendly in returning my call and we communicated through text and email to complete the process. Monica, our "sitter" was AMAZING. So loving and caring with our deaf 17 year old schnauzer. I observed her love on Annie the minute we met at the "greeting" and then we received updates, pictures and videos of her loving touch while with our grand daughter at Disney. All those who know me - not just my friends, but even people who know the slightest about me - know that my boyfriend and I love our puppy to death and spoil her rotten. We give her the best when it comes to clothing (Juicy Couture) and best treatments at Petsmart and her food (dog food with rice and chicken, but we change the menu) so on so forth. So when we had to fumigate the house, we figured it would be best not to have her baby lungs in the house. Thus we began our quest to find a reputable and safe pet sitter who is able to board our beloved 4legged creature for a night or two. We contacted several pet sitters but they do not offer private boarding and one of them recommended us to check out Fetch! Pet Care. I checked out the website and contacted Taso (the manager of the Orlando branch) and after a very thorough communication regarding our puppy's shots, habits and so on, he discussed the last minute matter with his wife Kim and they agreed to take her for two nights. My boyfriend, C, and I drove over to their house down Colonial (I think?) and dropped her off. Their house is very lovely and very pet proofed and safe with gates and a fenced off property for dogs of all sizes. They also reassured me with their "house rules." For instance, if one dog got aggressive with another, they will give the dog who violated the play rules a time out and separate him/her from the rest, NOT the other way around. All in all, they are very great people who understands your need and great at communicating and followup. Taso sent me a MMS of my puppy just incase I was worried to show that she was doing fine. Kim dropped the pup off and was very, very friendly and gave me a report card with details about how she ate and socialized with others. I would recommend Fetch! to everyone :) read more

We have been utilizing the services of Fetch Pet Care (East Orlando) for four years, and Kim and Taso provide THE BEST PET SITTING SERVICES in the East Orlando area. During the recent Christmas holiday we expected to be out of state for a week, however, our family get together was turned into a family crisis when our Mother's passed away. Once we knew we were not going to be returning home when we expected, we contacted Kim and told her what had happened and that we were not sure when we would be able to return home (due to funeral arrangements, etc.) Kim immediately asked, "What can I do to help you?". Kim was able to contact the car service and handle the cancellation and rescheduling of their services. She called us everyday and if we were not able to speak to her, she left a detailed message about the status of our "children", updating us on the weather in relation to the temperature of the house, plants, swimming pool, and property. Kim always ended her voice mail messages with genuine concern for our family, and always told us to call her if there was anything she could do to help us. On a day I was having a particularly difficult time, and missing my girls terribly. I spoke with Kim that morning and sensing my sadness and distress, she took some pictures of our girls with her phone and emailed them to me. It was an unexpected and wonderful surprise to find my girls peeking out at me from the email Kim so kindly sent. It made me feel better about missing them, and gave my husband and I great comfort during a very difficult and sad time. There is no one other than Kim and Taso of Fetch Pet Care that we would entrust the care of our pets (and our home) when we travel. For many years we limited our trips to two and three days because there were no pet sitting service companies that we felt comfortable leaving our pets with. Many of the "companies" we interviewed were actually college students or stay at home parents with no business licenses, or actual documentation to legitimize their company. They had no experience in animal health issues, or animal CPR, nor experience with administering medications, or how to handle an emergency should our pets become sick while we were away. These "pet sitters" were simply looking to make extra money by pet sitting. Kim loves our girls and they too look forward to seeing "Aunt Kim" come through the door. Fetch Pet Care is not just a business that we utilize, Kim is part of our family and we would recommend her business and services to anyone that is looking for a kind, compassionate and true animal lover to take care of their animal "family". It is during times of extreme circumstances when you find out if you have a "business" working for you, or a person that truly cares about not only your pets well being, but yours as well. We have used Fetch Pet Care for a few years now. Gary is who we request and always get. My dogs know him and he loves them as if they were is own. I have been very happy with my experience with Fetch, and especially happy with our cat sitter Georgie. It is obvious how much Georgie loves animals, and treats them like her own. Georgie is extremely responsible, caring, responsive to calls and texts, and updates us every day with texts and pictures of our cats. Fetch and Georgie have gone out of their way to meet up with me for initial introductions, transferring keys, etc. and they did not charge me. I love the daily (or per visit) updates and there's no measure for how comforting it is to be able to leave my pack of 5 at home (saving both stress on them and money) to not have to board them but knowing they'll be just as, if not more, taken care of. My wife and I have been using Fetch Pet Care for a few years now. Overall service was good. Michelle, one of their employees, is AWESOME! She always took great care of our dogs. My wife and I were just fired as clients because we filled out a survey with our feedback, which was not even horrible feedback. My wife filled out the survey because it specifically stated "your thoughts are important to us and we'll improve with your feedback." The last two times my wife called Fetch Pet Care she did not get a returned call, so when she received the survey, she mentioned this and that some of the visits with Kim, the owner, had been relatively short - less than 30 minutes total, and at $17 a visit - less than 30 minute visits seemed to be pricey. We have a security system that clocks the time of security deactivation/activation, when doors are open, etc. - so it was not a guess as to the time frame, it was unfortunately very exact. However, this had not stopped us from wanting to use their service. It was just an item my wife mentioned to help improve the service. Kim called and left my wife a voicemail today and said she decided to "end our relationship" because of the subpar survey my wife left. My wife tried to call her back, but did not reach her, so she texted her asking for Kim to let her know of a good time they could talk. Kim did reply in text and stated she ended the relationship because she has a relationship with her customers and "has never heard of any of these complaints before." She also said, "I always appreciate a client's feedback whether its good or bad but this was based on something out of our control this weekend nor was I ever made aware of any previous complaints about our service. Based on the above and the occasional service requested I decided it was best that we not service your account in the future." We do only use the service when we are gone for long periods of time during the day, which may be 1-2 days a month or every few months, but the survey received said "your thoughts are important to us..." There should be a disclaimer that says, " your thoughts are important to us, but only if you notify the owner first before filling out a survey with any feedback that is not positive, and if you are not an occasional customer." It's a survey, not a review. Our intention on the survey was not to make Fetch Pet Care look bad by any means, it was simply as the survey mentioned, to help them improve with our feedback. Kim also stated: "I usually get a call from a client if there is a problem and allowed the opportunity to resolve it before being rated on something I wasn't aware of or allowed to respond in a different manner." "Your welcome to share your reviews with whomever you like and I will in turn respond with our feedback. Thank you." Overall, it's very unsettling that this company chooses to handle their customer experiences this way. Instead of working on the issues, they drop the relationship, and cancel pre-arranged services you had with them. While Kim may want to receive a phone call first, a customer should not be penalized for submitting feedback in the requested survey format. What happened to customer service? Is it now the customer needs to do what the owner wants to keep the relationship? Seems backwards. On a happier note, if you do choose Fetch Pet Care, I HIGHLY recommend Michelle, and as long as you do not have ANY feedback to help improve the service, you should be good to go. read more
