I stopped by this store on 10/29 around lunchtime, and was really taken aback by the rudeness of…read morethe customer service. When I asked about cleaning instructions for a very expensive item, the man helping me gave short, one-word answers. When I tried to clarify, he rolled his eyes at me. I had to keep pressing just to find out that the item couldn't be cleaned at all, from a different (this time female employee who was much nicer) something you'd think would be clearly explained up front. I'm sorry if I'm not an expert in this niche area, but that's exactly why customers ask questions--especially when they're making a significant purchase. Basic courtesy and patience should be part of the job. If this is the owner, and you're in a position where you don't need customers, then congratulations--you've succeeded in driving one away. If you're an employee entrusted by the owner to represent the business, that's even worse, because you're treating customers with blatant disrespect and damaging the reputation of the place you work for. For a store located in a tourist area, where many customers are likely unfamiliar with your products, you'd think customer service would be a priority. Unfortunately, this experience was so unpleasant that I wouldn't want to return or recommend it to anyone else.

I have got to say, it is absolutely one of the coolest stores I have seen in a long time. First it is a used clothing store, with lots of vintage and retro clothing, including band shirts. Second, they have a lot of fun new and souvenir items, cute Denver shot glasses, funny greeting cards, postcards and other kitschy items. Third, it is a bar... and not just any bar. It is a fun bar with containers of moonshine named after 80's songs. My friend and I enjoyed a couple of mimosas while we were shopping. In addition to that, they have a DJ booth with music on several evenings. We also took pictures in an old photo booth. I left with a couple of cute greeting cards, and a fun flashy sequined bag that I took out 80's dancing that evening. I forgot to mention, they also sell records! For a fun and unique shopping experience, I highly recommend Garage Sale Vintage.

I was here for a trivia event which the space was good for, we had the bar and seating. The DJ booth was helpful with announcing the questions. As far as the store goes, it was expensive for a thrift store and most of the vintage items looked to be from about the '70s thru the early 2000s. The drinks weren't anything special and normal Denver prices. The staff was very stand offish but got the orders right. Heads up...they're a cashless bar which isn't very vintage of them. I most likely won't be back but if this is your thing and you want something downtown then check it out.

I found a lovely patchwork halter top made in India for $14 which I can't wait to wear on my upcoming trip to the tropics. I also got a cute baggu tote, seamoss and driftwood scented candle as well as 2 strawberry mountain jam shaped magnets. Service was super nice especially when I was trying some pants on and had to pass on them. My only suggestion is to please please please bring back the cute and unique sock selection, which I may be biased about because I love collecting them. Also, I think a few years ago there were fun pins/rings and other antique-y tchotchkes in their glass case which I missed this trip. Overall the vibes are still amazing and will definitely come back next trip :)

Prior to me becoming a regular there, was always a strange customer service of following me around until the workers caught on that I sell/trade/buy frequently. I went in today to sell, was trying items on after, then headed over to the jewelry section as I typically do after not finding clothes/shoes. I dropped a stack of bangles hanging off an S clip on the display, immediately picked them up then continued to browse the necklaces. All of a sudden I felt a shadow while browsing, after finding nothing I decide to leave because I was obvi being followed and monitored, the white employee continued to walk towards the front of the store as I left as well. I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to just leave since I could telling working retail the assumptions being made about me. The black employee then told me I left my bag of non-taken items and still needed to cash out. I honestly believe this new employee wasn't aware that I shop there all the time, but honestly felt like my first couple visits all over again.
