Update, during my purchase of my firearm i purchased two additional magazines which i reasonably assumed were compatible based on conversations with the salesperson. After opening the packaging and realizing that the magazines were not compatible, I brought both magazines, unused back to the store in an effort to either receive a return or store credit. unbeknownst to me the flimsy plastic package that the magazines were in were the only way to guarantee a return of said magazines, and the sales person was uncompromising in terms of any possible way of compensating my losses This experience was particularly jarring, given how accommodating they were during my initial purchase of the firearm. If you've ever been to his by-appointment offices, it is secure and low key. There is no showroom by design but Mike's Tactical Gun Store site has many popular items and waives the FFL fees.". This low overhead model allows him the best prices period. His FFL fee is $100 and the standard DROS is a $38 pass-thru, no markup. I know other dealers in the Bay Area charge $150-$200 for an FFL transfer. Those higher fees remove any deal you may have had buying any new or used gear inter or intra-state. Making an appointment is easy as he uses Google calendar. Mike is thorough, knowledgeable, low key and has a good bedside manner.
