Google map directed us to this brewery in route from hotel in Schaumburg to Des Plains Thearter. This place was great. Out in n endustial area, but did not disappoint. Ambiance was cool like a dive bar imeets garage bar meets Hollywood. It was great. Service was excellent. Like meeting an old friend. Now the beer: an assortment of many things to chose from. I had the Cream Ale and my friend had a barrel stout. Of course the list varies. We both loved what we had...sometimes breweries beers taste the same، this was a. Ice change of pace. Cheers to Fibs!

Fibs is a nice and laid back place. I came here on a beautiful summer early evening, so there was outdoor seating. The lady who helped us in the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I tried a flight of the seltzers and a Kolsch. The flavors of the seltzers were delicious but I liked their Kolsch the best. We also ordered Sausage & Pepperoni pizza. I know it was frozen pizza but it was actually delicious! The place had a fun and great vibe. It was clean and parking was easy as well. I will be back for sure. Til next time!

Fibs is a total vibe and I love the FIBS (F*ck1nG Illinois Bastards) who work there lol. Dean and Greg are two awesome dudes who run this cute little brewery. My girlfriends and I were getting dinner around the area and discovered this gem of a spot. It's right by the high school I went to. I thought it was new but they've actually been open for six years! It's a pretty small place with limited seating. They have card games, board games, and delicious drinks. We started off with a shot of Scooby Snack ($9- YUM! It tastes like a piña colada). I tried their Guatemalan Grappler ($8) which was SO good, like an espresso martini, but in beer form. So creamy and delicious. I also had the Eight-Legged Octopus ($8), a light and tasty drink! My girlfriends also really enjoyed PBJB ($8), tastes like peanut butter & raspberry jelly sandwich, but in beer form, and Nefarious Sinberry ($8). We stayed at Fibs for hours just yapping away. We got to take a shot with Greg and yap away with Dean. We also tried one of their bar snacks, crackers with goat cheese. They gave us a WHOLE tub of cheese. Amazing. I probably mentioned bringing our BFs, fiancé, and husband to this spot like 50 times. They also have live music outside during the summertime! I can't wait to go back and bring my bf next time!!

Cool eclectic brewery with a full bar. Small, but good food menu and drinks for everyone.

A hidden gem. We stopped in on a Sunday evening. It is hidden in an industrial park, and on a Sunday there is very little activity. They offer a variety of beers , some unusual, like the jolly rancher. They were all very good., and they can be purchased in a different sizes. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and has indoor and outdoor seating. The server was very nice and his suggestions were great. We ordered the pizza and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Definitely will be back.

This is my second or third time being here, this place is a Hidden Gem best beers in town, they keep switching their beers which is also good I like trying new things, I highly recommend coming here, top two beers for me were eight legged octopus apple ale and strawberry cheesecake hard seltzer, and I'm not a big fan of hard sellers at all this is probably one of the best tasting hard seltzers I ever had

I love locally sourced brewed beers. Moved from Iowa and I like connecting with the community and with the owner welcoming I would say I felt connected. Tried 5 Beers watermelon jolly rancher's Fib Cage, some cream ale, some IPA and chocolate coffee all of them were different. Pizzas in the house were good This was overall a fun place to be! I would've loved to get drunk but loved the fact I was sober on a weekday.

Went here a few weeks ago. They had a decent selection of beers and you can try them in different sizes which was nice. We sat outside since the weather was great. The lighting from the buildings was horrendous at night. There was also a party with a band; when the band was playing you could not speak to another person and actually hear them. But I would come here again!

This was a pleasant suprise!! I Was in town for a family emergency and my father in law suggested it. He had never been but thought it might be decent. I had their DIPA and a Russian Imperial stout. Both were good. It is a pretty small batch production and I suspect they have new brews often. I will DEFINITLY stop back when I'm town.

Guatemalan Grappler, skittles flight (strawberry, grape, orange, cherry)
    Mave R.

First time stopping in, place has a great feel - and surprisingly for being busy it wasn't obnoxiously loud inside. Beers were good, skittles flight, nice flavor not overly sour, and the Guatemalan Grappler matched the description (tho I do wish it would've been heavier). All in all was a very great place, will most definitely be back again ...

Small hidden gem! This place is located in an industrial business area.Space is a little cramped with very limited seating, but if you can get a seat it's great vibes.Very good & friendly service.Drinks & food we ordered were good, refreshing and reasonably priced. Loved that it's pet & kid friendly. I will definitely be back when the weather is warmer for patio seating and live entertainment.

What's better, Friday night or Saturday night?

I haven't been there those nights, but, I would imagine, any night would be good. Sunday afternoon is my spot. When the weather is good, sitting outside is special.

Turns out, Short Fuse was right up the road and a 5 minute walk got us there. For a Sunday, it wasn't too busy but not dead, so we got seated right away. We ordered some beer and took a look at the menu. While nothing really struck our fancy, our waitress made a comment that if we did want any food, it might be slim pickings as they were running out of stuff. Turns out, this day was the last day they were open. Talk about timing! After she mentioned that, I started to notice that people were buying bar signs and various other things. Emily started off with a Guava Gose and I grabbed a Krankshaft kolsch. We sampled each other beers and we both really liked what the other ordered. I don't really know what a gose is but, damn, was that good! I've had Krankshaft before so I knew what I was getting myself in to. We ended up ordering a second round of the same beers and let each other sample the other's beer a little more liberally this time. While we were kind of hungry, nothing on the menu really struck our fancy, especially considering they might've been out of it. Room service took care of those hunger pangs later after a few more beers in the hotel bar. Online reviews for this place seemed hit and miss but I really enjoyed my time there and really enjoyed the artwork on the walls and the vibe of the place. We did contemplate buying some bar signs on our way out but declined as we don't know what we would exactly do with them. It sucks to see a small business close but they did say they may try to open up a new place in a new location in the future.
