Buyer Beware If you care about where your puppy comes from,…read morethink carefully before purchasing from a website that sells puppies online. I have not purchased from these sites myself, but in my work in the veterinary and grooming field, I've seen many dogs that originated from online sellers arrive sick, poorly socialized, or with lifelong health and behavior issues. In many cases, online puppy sales are connected to large-scale commercial breeding operations, commonly called puppy mills. No responsible breeder sells puppies through third-party websites or ships them sight unseen. A good breeder will invite you to meet the parents, see the environment the puppies are raised in, and will always take their dog back if the family cannot keep it. Websites that treat puppies like products shipped out on demand typically do none of this. For those looking for a healthy, well-adjusted companion, a safer route is to seek out a reputable breeder who doesn't sell mixes, shares all the parents health testing results (such as OFA, CHIC, PennHIP etc), provides full transparency about their dogs, and stands behind their puppies for life, or to consider adopting from a rescue. Supporting online puppy sales fuels the cycle of overbreeding and directly contributes to the shelter overpopulation crisis, as many of these puppies ultimately end up surrendered. Puppies are family members, not products, and they deserve better than being funneled through the puppy mill pipeline.

Bought a puppy on January 1st, and after 5 hours, the puppy died in my arms. The breeder ignored my…read morequestions about the puppy's condition the whole time. He accused me of the dog's death, even though the vets said it was 100% Parvovirus, and the breeder already knew about it because a Pitbull cannot die within 5 hours. Our expenses: $500 - Puppy $750 - Resuscitation $300 - We bought everything necessary for him, and since the puppy was with us during all the shopping, all items may be contaminated, to which the breeder just said to return them... After a week of disputes, they still haven't refunded us the $1550, leaving us in shock for a lifetime... Also, the puppy had contact with my mom's dog's scent, after which that dog got sick, and my parents had to spend an additional $1000 on treating their dog. I do not recommend dealing with these breeders!!!!! THATS TOTALY 100% SCAM

I would not recommend Furry Babies. I purchased a Pekingese from this location almost 4 years ago…read moreand unfortunately this has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a pet purchase. From the beginning, this dog has been extremely difficult and unsafe to manage. She has never been successfully potty trained, and more importantly, she has shown aggressive behavior, including biting a child, biting me (the owner who feeds her), and biting my nephew (who also feeds her). This is not normal behavior, and it has been heartbreaking and stressful for our household. I have owned several dogs in my life and have never had an issue like this. My dogs have always been well-trained, loved, and properly cared for. This is the only dog I've ever had ongoing problems with, despite doing everything right. I have spent over $3,000 purchasing her and an additional $7,000+ on vet bills, sedation, grooming, and professional training in an effort to correct these issues and keep everyone safe. At this point, I cannot continue to keep a dog locked up or constantly separated from children just to prevent another incident. When I contacted the store, Jessica initially told me they could not take the dog back. Later, she called me back and said they could take the dog back -- but with no refund and no accountability for selling a dog with these severe behavioral issues. I purchased this breed believing they were friendly and good with kids, and I was told that at the time of purchase. After doing my own research due to the aggressive behavior, I learned that Pekingese may not be ideal for children -- something that should have been discussed honestly before selling a puppy to a family. I'm leaving this review to warn other families: please do your research, ask hard questions, and think twice before purchasing from here.
