I do not write many reviews, but I am doing so for FDM, their team of professionals and my Loan officer Mr. Syed because I feel I owe them one. They shepherded me through what had to be one of the most difficult and complicated first-time home-buying experiences ever. I know a lot of loan offices can say they are understanding when it comes to buyers like me, but I feel my circumstances were particularly trying and really showed dedication to their work. 2. Getting to a Financing after contract: My regular bank would not provide financing. My Family friend directed me to Fidelity Direct Mortgage that had a good reputation at the co-op and was willing to take the loan, and got the necessary documentation together so I could get preapproved. I want to use this medium to express my gratitude and to say that Mr. Syed Ahmad made my home buying experience a very pleasant one. I am a disabled veteran and from our first introduction/conversation back in 2012, he explained every single option that was available to me and what steps and things I needed to work on to fix my credit problems. I have been renting for the last 12 years throwing money down the drain. Within the past year I finally started to establish my credit. I asked a good friend what do I need to do to get in my own home. He referred me to Baldeep Singh Khosa (Deep) over at Fidelity mortgage. I got in contact with Deep and submitted him my info and within a day I got a pre approval. I found a house I liked and had my realtor put in a contract. I got a mortgage from FDM after a couple of painful failures. They delivered perfectly with as little a hassle as possible for such a huge transaction. They were extremely professional. I spent endless hours with Nabeel Haider (who played the role of my agent although he is a VP in the company) who was asking questions and made sure he understood everything in my file. When something was not clear Nabeel would pick up the phone and call me to get clarifications. The information also got to the underwriter fairly quickly but Nabeel would first take the pain to explain the file to the underwriter and got their feeling and report back to me. Two mortgage companies couldn't get the deal done although I think I had a difficult but not I possible case. FDM did it through Nabeel and they did it in record time. I am very grateful to them. The journey to the purchase of our beautiful home started a little over a year ago. There were twists & turns and complications when I became self employed before the mortgages was secured; but Ajay and his assistant, Jenn McQueeney, worked tirelessly to get our loan done. I received emails that were sent after 10:00pm and was told that they work until the work is done in order to complete a loan on time.
