(2024) That she was not going to discuss where we could trip the fat because my one man company had gone bankrupt. They were charging me $33k a year. I switched to AmFam and right off the bat we got a trim and saving of $6k. If the owner of PHE wants this review removed get me a refund on the Travelers policy back to May 2025. Get an adjustment on the 2023-2024 contractors insurance policy as my company took a $300k decrease in income. Because that insurance was based on previous years earnings.

Since he's left, I made the decision to leave the Marcel Dore agency, I am still with State Farm and a happy State Farm customer, I just chose to request to change agents. Here's why: When they want to sell me something, the agency has called me upwards of five times a day. I had the same conversation with the same sales representative within a 30 minute time. And he completely forgot he spoke to me. That is how high volume this agency is. When I had a question regarding my daughter going off to college and any production in coverage or discount that may be available, I left a message for Stephen my new representative twice and never got a returned call after waiting three weeks. It took an angry voicemail for him to finally return my call and send me an email, never acknowledging that he failed to return my prior to messages. When I finally got Stephen on the phone, he proceeded to "educate" me, explaining that I've never met or heard from Marcel because he's so successful. He never has to work anymore and that's why he hires people to do the work for him. He didn't apologize or acknowledge that he never bothered to return my call, but he explained to me that I'm always welcome to log onto the app or call the 800 number. What is the point of having an agent and one who apparently never works if I have to constantly go to an app or call an 800 number and hold when I have a general question about my policy and I thought the purpose of the agency was to be available and have a local connection. Stephen also explained that they have thousands of customers and that they're incredibly busy when explaining why I could never get someone on the phone and would always have to wait between four hours and three weeks for a call back. I've decided to continue my relationship with State Farm and move to an agency that has three agents in it all who answer the phone during business hours. I'm also switching to an agency with women. I find it incredibly weird that in the nine years I was a client of Marcel Dore's agency, there was never a single woman working there that I saw or interacted. Thank you to Stephen for educating me in the ways Marcel Dore's agency feels about their client relationships. I am really excited to have my business transferred to an agency that values their clients and relationships.

I always have that lingering belief I can do better, that I can get a better price. Throughout the years I have enjoyed this CPA immensely she is honest, frank and doesn't make me feel like I have to go to her every year, which I have been. Some years, I don't even talk to her I just drop off my paperwork for my taxes if I don't have any questions. When I gather my paperwork together, it is all nice and neat and in order, and I complete all the applicable other paperwork. I have a couple of rentals so my taxes probably aren't the simplest that there is. For the past 2 years I have been looking around to see what other Tax services may have to offer. I always come back to her regarding costs, reliability and convenience. Last year, during tax time I was noticing chatter on our neighborhood social site and they were talking about tax accountants, it made me cringe looking at what people were saying regarding prices and the service that they were receiving. I even did a couple of online searches looking for a Tax Accountants but to no avail. They either couldn't do it, or the prices were so much more than what I currently pay.
