Used this place for a couple years and thought it was good but will never be returning after the experience I just had. After picking my dog up from the groom he was scratching and licking spots that were bothering him. After researching, speaking with his vet, ruling out allergies, and spending days treating him at home, I finally got around to calling Fidoz to see if there was anything they could do to make it right. I talked to the vet today and was planning to see if the oatmeal baths continued to help before deciding if I should bring him in tomorrow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The first person I talked to on the phone was very nice, seemed genuinely empathetic, and said they would be able to easily refund me for my groom and could even pay to take my dog to the vet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was until she spoke to the owner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once I talked to him, he said because I had waited so long to call (6 days) that he would not believe the validity of what I said happened.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even after informing him that I had consulted with my vet, taken pictures of the problem areas, and was sure it wasn't an allergy reaction since he'd been bathed in the same shampoo many times there before. He said if I took my dog to the vet and they said it was definitely clipper burn then he would pay for everything, but that since I also hadn't called immediately after the groom, there was pretty much nothing he could do. I've literally been managing this to avoid the extra costs of the vet on top of having paid $75 for someone to hurt my dog and cause his discomfort that I've been managing for a week, which was my priority at the time over getting my money back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He was very rude and aggressive. This has never happened to me or my dog with a groom before.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He didn't even see the dog or look at the pictures. I am taking my dog to get his "proof" of what the very clear progression of a situation that he deems invalid because it didn't unfold exactly how he said it should. I don't think I should have to pay for a service that lead to so much pain for my dog. But I will never let a groomer from here touch any dog I care about ever again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner showed a concerning lack of empathy, 0 accountability, poor communication skills, and aggressive, defensive, and blame shifting behavior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He accused me several times of just "looking for someone to blame."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No sir, someone here hurt my dog, however unintentional, and forgive me for thinking a well regarded establishment would care about making it right or at the bare minimum, apologizing. *UPDATE* I took my dog to the vet and they confirmed from photos and the exam that he had skin irritation and clipper burn. I called to talk to the owner once again to ask where to send this to. He was even more rude and agressive than before. I kept calm, even apologized for the last conversation getting out of hand. He continually backtracked on the assurances he made in the previous call, said he did not want to rehash it but continued to do so whenever he did not like my questions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The OWNER is manipulative in conversation, his goal is to evade liability and accountability.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you EVER bring a concern to him about how your pet was treated or handled, based on years and years of google reviews, this is how he handles it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is no empathy, there is no accountability, there is no remose. We have been taking our dogs to [[HIGHLIGHT]]Kaleb here for about 2-3 years and he does a great job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our dogs have a double coat and I am very careful that they never get a hair cut. Usually I just want a trim around their booty and a shampoo with nail trims. I hear horror stories about Aussies or Huskies being shaved or the requests being misunderstood but he always takes care of them how I ask. They almost always have some ear matting due to long soft hair and he even asks before cutting those out if they don't brush out. When I dropped my maltese pup off to get groomed I spoke in detail with Jessica who was to be my groomer about what she was going to do. I specifically told her not to cut the muzzle or his face and to keep the ear length long as well as the top of his head. She butchered my dog with no apology or explanation. Be very cautious if you have a long haired dog because she does whatever she wants. She is not a skilled groomer and is very rude. Better to take your dog somewhere else. We took our dogs here twice. The second time, both of the dogs wenot into a frenzy as soon as they saw the door. They were Terrified. I requested assistance multiple times to help calm the dogs. First time bringing my chihuahua Yorker mix here. I didn't want to take her back to PetSmart bcz her haircuts were always too harsh and prickly. I mean her coat was never saw it felt so great all and spiky when I pet her. And they never cleaned up her paws either in return her to me with little grinch paws again. Not to mention their (Petsmart) groomers are always complaining about something. This place is super friendly and they care for each animal brought in. When I came to pick up Morgan I was shocked and so happy to see her come out looking fresh and with cute bows in her ears! Her coat was soft and fuzzy, she was well manicured and they even cleaned her paws up to see her toes individually again! I've been taking my 22 lb. long-haired cat in for a "shearing" for 3 years now. Jessica is the one who works on him, and she always gives him a lion cut and he looks great when she's finished. Jessica shaves off all his fur except around his head and neck, legs and some of his tail. Even though I brushed him several times a day, he still developed mats on his sides. All gone now. He seems to be happier with the new feel to his body, probably because the mats were pulling a bit on his skin. This was the second time I took my Yorkie Poo there. The first time she did great. They only kept her 2 hours and seemed happy. The second time I took her, although she looked great I just had a feeling that was pup didn't like it. When she saw me she almost jumped out of the woman's hands, she was shaking and all. They also almost kept her over 3 hours. Not sure if they gave her a snack or any water while she was waiting. Again she looked great, but since then my pup gets extremely nervous when we put her in the car. Would I go again? Not sure. read more

I took my 8 month old Yorkie here for her first haircut. I know I know but I got her at 4 months. Im still just a little bit skeptical as when I went to pick her up she was barking and she never barks. Whines yes, barks no. Although her haircut is a little choppy I figured she moved a bit. They were able to do a full cut along with her face. I think when they shaved her butt area it must have been uncomfortable for her as she has been licking a lot. I did ask them to go short and I am aware she has a thin coat for a full bred Yorkie so I'm not too alarmed that the hair around her eyes looks a little bald. I just hope she isn't mad at me :) read more

Man to all the folks that have anxiety about leaving there cat at a new place to be groomed; these folks took everything away and some! Randy was the nice gentleman that took care of my cat. Unfortunately he had mattes on his rear end, and this was my first long haired cat. To say the least I was nervous as anyone would be dropping them off. Randy said he would give me a call in 30 mins to tell me the progress (my cat did fine), so I agreed to move forward with the rest of the cleaning options they offered. Couple of things; 1. They called to update me on how my cat was doing (not many normal retail stores will care about the customer this much). 2. I read stories of cats going into hiding after, my cat was completely normal and fine when he got home so that tells me that absolutely took care of him. I've been taking my small dog here for two years. Tonight I picked her up and a saw a groomer get rough with a standard poodle type dog. The groomer was trimming the inside of the poodle's ear and the dog wasn't having it. She yelled and grabbed her enough to yelp a little. Then as I'm walking out with my tiny dog and daughter I hear a yelp cry, I turned in horror to see her grabbing the dog super hard and hurting it. The dog was yelping in pain and its face was contorted from the abuse. Never again will I take my dog here. read more
