The staff was very friendly - from booking my appointment to the front desk. They all seem like great people to be around dogs. The place was clean, smelled fresh and was well organized. I took my foster dog here for her first bath (with me). I booked a standard bath with a groomer and added a teeth freshener. Again, friendly staff. My foster dog was in a cone the first few weeks I got her and unable to get a bath. So she smelled pretty bad. The total time was around 2 hours. She looked clean and was happy after. I would rate the bath a 7.1/10 smell/cleanliness wise and how long it seems to have lasted. To be fair, it's summer and she enjoys long walks. I would maybe come here again and try the shower stations to bathe her myself. read more

Till recently, my experience with divisions has been flawless. Yet, on my recent "grooming appointment" was a "terrible mess". I hope this does not happen to any beloved pup again. My initial appointment was a month ago. As they never confirmed the appointment, they rescheduled for another date transferring over the 50 dollar deposit. On the day of the grooming, I checked-in requesting his ear hairs trimmed, paw pads trimmed, anal glands expressed, whiskers trimmed, and his hair cut short. The "groomer", Dennis, took my dog agreed to do all requests and took my dog. At that time, neither the "groomer" or the person who checked me in told me this is not a "grooming" but that I was booked for a "full bath" ( which was informed later to me during my complaints.) . 1.5 hours later my husband picked up my dog washed with neither the paws pads trimmed or whiskers trimmed. I immediately called to complained within an hour of picking up my dog and was informed I would received a call back. No call back was received for two hours, so I called back and now was informed this was not a "grooming " but a "full bath appointment ". Also, "Dennis" is not a groomer since they don't have groomers on weekends and he is only a "bather". Finally, Dennis did indeed trimmed my dogs ear hairs, while giving him a cut on his ear. On top of this, my dogs anal glands leaked within two hours of being "expressed". 1. My services scope was not clarified even though I informed clearly what areas and how I want my dog groomed upon check-in. 2. I was charged 91 usd ( including deposit) which is the price of grooming. The full bath service was informed to be 59.95. 3. The "general manager " I talked to in the phone needs to get a response from general manager. Pictures of proof was email with no response. 4. A follow up email was sent to Dogizone on the same day with a response " Regan is attached to this email, she is our general manager and will be able to further assist you. " Interestingly, 5 days later and there is no response from the general manager. They were one of the top dog groomers but are NOW truly unorganized and are charging for services not performed. read more

They took good care of my dog, but some of the workers seem to have little experience in customer service. I was standing outside a locked door trying to get in contact with somebody (clearly lost/confused with the process), somebody opened the door to handoff a dog to a customer and saw me looking confused and just walked back inside. I had to shout for them to turn around and acknowledge me. The whole thing is pretty pricey as well. My dog stayed for 4 nights and the total was well over $500. You would think you get some sort of report card or pictures included but nothing. In my experience with other day cares , they share reports and send pictures. Overall the experience was just average. I wish they were more attentive to the person who is actually paying for the experience (me). read more

Dogizone has been great for boarding, training, and daycare. Both of our dogs board there and come home happy and tired. They stay together in the same suite, which is nice, and get their own play sessions. It's unavoidable for dogs to come home a bit more fragrant after boarding with so many other animals, so for longer stays, we add baths and make sure they are done on the last day. (Pro tip: if you book a bath/grooming session, the late pick up fee is waived.) The front desk staff are helpful and efficient. The kennel staff are so friendly with our dogs. We've also done board-and-train and group training, which has helped our anxious Aussie walk nicely and pay attention to us. This past winter was a tough season for kennel cough and canine flu at boarding facilities all over. Our dogs both contracted kennel cough from one of their longer stays at Dogizone, but the staff was very helpful and reimbursed us for the vet costs. I believe there's an insurance program that enabled that coverage, which was great. While not cheap, we like the care that they give to our dogs and the great customer service to the humans. read more

They lie. Training consists of locking your dog in a pen with other dogs. The building was a mechanic shop so god knows benzene, degreasers and chemicals remain. I told them no shock collar and they only use prong collars and shock collars to beat your dog into submission. Imagine you drop your dog off to kindergarten and you cannot see behind the desk what really goes on and when you take your dog home they are anxious and exhausted and have FLEES and an eye infection. Our dog swims in the pool and is bathed after - she came home smelling like a garbage truck. I contacted them 8 times asking about what training are they doing and the promise to call you back - but zero follow up. Staff are teens with know canine knowledge. Stay away from these horrible people. RUN away they are expensive and liars. read more

I am only reviewing the market and the DYI dog bath. Let me just say that this is an awesome idea as I don't mind washing my own Dog; but he really doesn't fit in my tub. Nor do I want to clean up afterwards. I've taken him to other places to have him groomed, but he doesn't really require grooming. He just needs to be washed and Dogizone is extremely reasonable for what my needs are. You're basically just paying to use the facility. There are no fluff charges. I really appreciate that! I also buy a dog bone while I'm in there and the prices that I've seen are also very reasonable... matching up with chain prices. read more

Grooming: I don't whats happened to this place. I take my Morkie in every 6 weeks. The first signs of trouble were 12 weeks ago when he was groomed a bit uneven but I though that maybe the groomer had an off day. We took him back on 8/1 and my friend picked him up so I could take my kiddo to an appointment. She told me he did not look well groomed. The pictures show a very choppy uneven job with his tail all matted. We tip our groomers well because we appreciate them, but Im really disappointed. I called Dogizone as soon as I saw him and the left a message. I also emailed. No contact has been made even though staff said management would call on 8/1 or 8/2. DogiZone is an incredible day care center. I have a problem child, and by problem child I mean a 120+ pound Great Dane with a bit of leash reactivity. DogiZone has been incredibly understanding. My pup does great in pack play, but doesn't always understand his size or strength. The young ladies and gentlemen who work at DogiZone are always understanding, and very gentle with him! We've used DogiZone so far for daycare, boarding, grooming...even a two week training boot camp! Every experience we've had has been an especially good one. Our dog went from a work from home situation to both mom and dad being at work 5+ days a week. DogiZone helped with that transition and has been there for us even last minute. Deceptive sales practices. I went here for dog training and was upsold into a larger package then we needed. I held onto extra sessions thinking maybe I'll bring my pup back at a later time but for the time being we had maxed out time and effort. The trainer was great though. I then called at a later point about boarding and was quoted a nightly rate and told about tiers in services. I explicitly asked if what I selected (1-2 walks a day can't remember) was included in the price and told yes. I reiterated what I understood the nightly rate to be and again the rep confirmed. I went ahead with boarding and was surprised upon early pick up with both an extremely anxious pup that cried for days after, but also with a bill that was more than double what I understood it should be. Because my partner picked up that day he didn't question the rate before closing out. When he showed me the bill I immediately called and spoke to a manager and explained the rate that was quoted, the manager kindly said they wold honor the rate. No change happened. I then went in to the location and spoke to someone face to face who again said they would honor the rate and refund the extra training sessions I hadn't used, they promised an email confirmation like the first time. Stay Away! This is a full service pet business that offers boarding, grooming, lodging and training. The training department is excellent, but don't use any of the other services. Many of the staff members have little worth ethic or professionalism. It is sad that the dogs don't get the care they deserve. You can't depend on anyone to be available for a grooming appointment that you have scheduled in advance. To drive all the way over to Dogizone only to be told that the groomer is unavailable is ridiculous. The dogs in daycare are not allowed to go outside to relieve themselves on days when they are in the inside play areas. They get a walk when they arrive and another before they are picked up. That means that they either hold it in for 8 hours or more or do their business inside the play area. The Playcademy program is awful. It is an expensive agility day care add on, and most of the staff members don't have a clue what they are doing. The report card for each dog is often a cut and paste with no information given about the individual pet's activity that day. Lodging is subpar too. The last time I used the boarding department my dog was scheduled to be fed three meals a day. When I picked her up there were many baggies of unused food. That means that she probably only ate twice a day. She lost 2 l bs in a week. That is appalling and not OK on any level. The staff listens to your concerns, but nothing ever changes. I had to go out of town for an emergency for a week and they made the process of evaluation, overnight boarding, daycare and transportation so easy! I gave this business multiple opportunities. After shaving my dog months ago, we made sure to brush him thoroughly at home because we hate the low cut look for him. Today we took him in and I checked his fur myself. There was one patch near his shoulders that needed some brushing but the tangling was minimal and I could part through it to see his skin. On the paperwork I did not initial to approve shaving him if deemed "necessary". I would have opted for just a shampoo. I did not receive a phone call asking my permission. Instead I picked up a shaved dog. I'm done with them. They have a bunch of kids working here and they do not follow their own paperwork. Supposedly there was some miscommunication where they thought they were to do the same cut as last time. It's like they just aggressively decide to shave the pet down low instead of making it work. We have a high-energy, 2 year old cattle dog named Cooper. Before our session even began, we were walking Cooper outside in the parking lot to help him focus and Milton approached us, introduced himself, and explained we would be meeting with him today and directed us where to go when we were ready. Milton is very professional, and not only reviewed our week and the training we had done to date, but he answered our questions above and beyond what we asked. After Jacques was done with his two week training camp, he was a completely different puppy. We were blown away with the results. After his camp we enrolled into the University Program. I would strongly recommend this after a training camp. When I brought my two 2-year-old Yorkie's to Dogizone for behavioral assistance- who are very different in demeanor- she laid solid groundwork for obedience. Watching Candice in action was great, as my two pups "walked a chalk line" with her gentle yet firm guidance. She gave me tremendous insight, adding some "extra's" to ensure I would be successful at home (which I have been). I highly recommend Candice's dog training services specifically at Dogizone. WILL NEVER TAKE MY PUPS FOR LODGING HERE AGAIN!!!! I am convinced they were neglected, if not outright abused. I have extreme concerns after my 2 Boston Terrier pups' most recent lodging stay with DogiZone. I booked lodging for 5 nights and I don't think I'll be able to forgive myself for what I think they went through. First, both puppies came back smelling HORRIBLE!!! They were booked in a medium cabin, which they share, and did not play with any other dogs (due to the fact that they are not yet neutered), so WHY do they smell so bad?!?! As if they were kept in very unsanitary conditions. Second, both dogs came back INCREDIBLY THIRSTY!!! They immediately drank 2 full bowls of water when we got home, as if water had been withheld from them. I was also given very little food back but had been told via text when I checked on them that they weren't eating at every meal (and had skipped breakfast and dinner a couple of times). So how does that add up?!?! Third, I had booked a nail trim for both pups but only one of them came back with cut nails. I was not made aware that there had been any issue and was charged for both of them. They did not seem their usual happy selves when I picked them up, their eyes looked sad and out of it. Both of them had runny noses and one of the puppies had noticeable dirt (or something) on his coat. He was lethargic and shook for an hour after getting home as if he was traumatized by the experience. I paid nearly $1,000.00 for their stay - and they were obviously neglected, if not worse. I had a frustrating phone experience to book my pup for boarding at DogiZone. Their phone service has way too much going on. I needed to be transferred to two separate people to answer my single and very simple question--can I have a quote for a 24 hour boarding stay? I just wanted pricing to compare with other boarders before booking. Their process: The first person you speak with collects all of your information and then gets your booking dates for a "Reservation Specialist" to call you back. Again, I only wanted a quote--not a reservation at this time. The person I initially spoke with refused to share an estimated cost with me. So, I get a call back and I ask my simple question again--can I receive a quote for a 24 hour stay? No response to my question. Instead, I get a verbal history of the company and how they've blossomed over the years. A story I didn't have time for nor care about. That only wasted more time when all I wanted was a quote. Then, she verified the same exact information I shared with the initial person just 20 minutes prior and proceeded to give me a daily price and activity packages. It turns out I needed a two-day stay as a result of their pickup and drop-off hours, which was fine with me. So, I asked for the total estimated price for the 2 day stay and 2 days of activity package. She refused to give me a total price and said "I'm ready for your card for the $50 deposit." I replied that I need a quote before I pay any deposit. She said you just receive a final bill at pickup...umm, excuse me?? So you hit people with a surprise bill at the end with no heads up? Sounds scammy to me. I don't trust DogiZone and I would not board my dog there. I'm willing to pay for good care for my pup, but not when I feel a company is lacking transparency. The total would have come to 54.95/day (actually a really good price) and then they require you to add an activity package (19.95-30.95 with a "built in discount," whatever that means). So, I would have paid 2 days x 55 plus activity package x 3 days (not sure why they required a 3rd day when checkout is at 11am, but whatever). My point is...the "Reservation Specialist" couldn't do this simple math to reassure me that I wouldn't receive a surprise bill at the end?? Maybe their service for the pups is great, but their phone script and refusal to share a quote needs to be changed. Customers deserve to know up front what they are paying for. Suggestions: 1. Your customers don't need to speak with 2 different people for a quote and booking. Train your receptionists to be able to address all questions and to book reservations. The transfers and call backs are annoying. 2. Ask if the customer is interested in hearing the history of the company BEFORE giving the history of the company. I hated that she just went in on the long story and I didn't want to cut her off, so I waited and wasted time on something I did not need to hear. 3. When a customer asks for an estimated cost, give one. Even if it comes with a disclaimer that the price could change based on actual pickup/drop off time or other special incidents. We just need a ballpark number guys. I hope this feedback is helpful and will be considered. read more

My dog Scooter loves DogiZone and the staff. He has never come back injured or scared. He was once put in time-out because he probably deserved it (he gets a bit aggressive when playing). I did meet with one of the supervisors and they explained everything. I have mixed feelings about this place. I am certain my dog is safe while in their care and he comes back tired after all the play and activities which is great. The issue I have is that he has been boarded twice now, and each time he has come back with Kennel Cough. The first time, it lead to pneumonia which is scary for a 7 month puppy. I took my chances again three months later, and now he has it again. Given that he is not playing with other animals (he's not fixed yet because my breeder told me to wait after he is one year old) I have to believe that the environment (kennel/lodging, food/bowl, and play area) is not being kept up well with sanitation. I feel I need to go back on the hunt to finding a new place in the area, or simply doing Rover again. I will probably still come for training (Jessica is great) but this Kennel cough after each lodging is not something I am okay with. It's another expense for a vet visit I am not willing to take each time (and this place is NOT cheap) however- we pay for the best for our beloved dogs. Unfortunately, this place is no longer meeting my expectations for good care because of my experiences after he gets back home a few days later. read more

I took my dog in for a grooming and these SOBs ruined my dogs coat!! I called ahead of time to make sure they had someone qualified to work on long thick coats. They claimed to be experienced. When I picked up my dog, this is what I got (see pictures). His cost was uneven and choppy. Even worse we're bald spots on his back. These types of spots are caused from aggressive combing with a metal brush. The fur begins to tear from the skin and will NEVER grow back. Of course these animals took no responsibility and claimed my dog was already balding. This place needs to be shutdown. Take your pet there only if you hate your dog. read more

The folks at Dogizone did a great job with our puppy and continue to help us with training and boarding. We sent our puppy Ellie to the 12 day boot camp. I was concerned that the fun pup I dropped off might have all the fun loving nature of a puppy trained out of her not the case. Jessica and the rest of the folks did a great job. Ellie is well trained, they have also worked with us in several classes to help us continue to train. I am now going to train her to jump through hoops (literally jumped through Hula hoop's).
