Then the building was torn down. All character and charm associated with the building gone. What you are left with is a cookie cutter restaurant with the industrial look and feel. Frankly I was not a fan wish they would have renovated the Big Boy Building but no one asked me. The food was ok. Mom had a burned pancake and I had a skillet. The entire purpose of lunch was to go for the salad soup bar. Soup wasn't ready yet and I'm not sure the salad bar was ready either. The salad bar had minimal vegetables. I wish I had a picture. Service was fine she kept my Diet Pepsi full. To summarize I will continue to try and support local business best I can but I wonder if this is local or corporate owners. I suspect a corporate conglomerate but what do I know? I'm just a local missing the memories of Big Boy.

I have to say that the special was not skimpy in the least and was delicious. My buddy had a wet burrito with cheese sauce along with red and green sauce and he raved about it as well. I was certainly a member of the clean plate club and thought about buying a second entree just to take home, but decided that a return visit was more in order. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and well stocked and I appreciate that because a lot of places are not so fresh at 8pm. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and I can't say enough about how they treat their guests. I will most definitely be back soon!
