Breakfast at Tiffiny's used to be a go to place with upscale meals, but has since declined. Today we stopped by and ordered the Salmon BLT, to which they said, they don't have salmon anymore. Next, ordered the cranberry almond chicken sandwich and again they didn't have it, on to the 3rd choice and for a side selected cole slaw and again they didn't have and said they hadn't had in a while. I'm okay if you don't carry items anymore, but it should reflect on your menu, especially at a restaurant on the higher end of the price scale. read more

Finally a breakfast place with unique things on the menu along with the traditional items. They have plenty of vegan and gluten free options as well. The only issue is I had to come to MI for it. Some friends and I were in town for my best friends birthday and decided to stop in here for breakfast. We loved it! The staff was very friendly the whole time. We sat down and were pleasantly greeted by a server and the person she was training. She kept up on our coffee and drinks the whole time. One of the people in our group has a gluten allergy and was stoked to see GF French toast (which was delicious)! All of us loved our food. I got the skillet dish which had great taste and was made with fresh ingredients. Biscuits and gravy was some of the best I'd ever had. Biscuits were fluffy and gravy was perfect. The chicken in the ultimate biscuits and gravy sounded weird to us until we tried it and were pleasantly surprised! I'd highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food and service! We went to Tiffiny's with my sister and the food was pretty good. The menu reminded me of the offerings from First Watch. Pricing was a little high for the food offerings I thought. The home fries were way over cooked, some of them burnt even. Coffee was good. Service could have been a little bit better but it was more than acceptable. The reason for the 4 stars was the over cooked potatoes. All in all I would probably return. read more

We went to the Centre St. location on Sunday, April 14.....around 11:30; it was not busy and we didn't have to wait to be seated. That's where the positives for this trip ended. It took ten minutes for our server to show up. We decided ahead of time what we were going to order so we thought we should do that while she was there so we didn't have to wait another 10-15 minutes to order. Also during our initial conversation, I asked about the info on the card that talked about locally sourced products and paying servers a living wage. She replied, "Basically everything on there isn't true." Good to know! She brought our coffee and it was "meh". Less than a minute later, she asked if we needed a refill.......uhhhh.....you just dropped it off. That was the last time she asked if we needed anything. So we both ordered avocado toast and eggs whites. Apparently there is a large up charge for egg whites--about $3. I didn't see that on the menu but she didn't mention it either. It would probably be a good idea to mention that in the future. Anywho....thirty minutes later, our meals arrived and wow! Were they disgusting and underwhelming. I wish we had taken pics but we were so annoyed by how long it took our food to show up that the shock of our food was "par for the course" at this place. I will try to describe it as accurately as possible; they used some type of wheat bread (the menu said that--we figured it would be fine)....but the bread was unremarkable; they used store bought pre-made avocado mash, not fresh like the menu said (think of the little cups you can get at Costco) and weird tasting chopped tomatoes (maybe 7 little pieces on each piece of toast). It was bland, unappetizing and really anyone bringing this to a patron should've been embarrassed to do so; our server took the coffee off the check for us having to wait so long for food, but she never even asked us how our food was. This was our second visit to BaT but we will not be back. We love supporting local and don't mind spending more money to do so, but there are plenty of other local places with happy employees who speak positively about their employers and serve high quality appetizing meals. read more

Met friends for breakfast. The menu has lots of options - both healthy and decadent. The waitstaff is friendly - our server, Morgan, took great care of us. So we were in the area and husband wanted to try KZOO location again after previous neg experiences. Have to say much improved!! They now have seating for you as you wait, which is huge. So many locals really like Tiffiny's, so when we had a nearby medical appointment we decided to try this venue for breakfast. Right off, I noticed that the prices listed on "Full Menu" on Yelp are out-of-date as prices on current menu are a few dollars more. We soldiered on and ordered eggs and toast with sausage and chicken and waffles. I had to confirm with our waitress that there was actually chicken on top of the waffle as what was there looked like leftover chopped fried chicken with bacon bits (???) thrown in. I was looking for fresh chicken tenders or a thigh with some good crunch. (No crunch) Syrup with the dish was inadequate and while I needed more I could not see our waitress until I spotted her talking with someone in the service area although I could not get her attention. By the time I received more syrup the waffle was cold. My SO noted that $14 was pricy for two eggs and toast with sausage. $15 for my dish was outrageous as I could not finish eating the limpish waffle.
