Danny Williams doubles as the President of Pop Warner Rancho, so all the other coaches are afraid of him and they let Danny Williams be the head coach. Examples of lack of management/class/Leadership: 1) no offensive playbook until the 2nd or 3rd game. We practiced all of August....had games the first weeks of September and no playbook until the 6th week of the Season. Our Offense had no idea what to do and it was just schoolyard/backyard ball at its finest. 2) Practices were NEVER kept per the schedule. They kept changing the practice schedule week to week, and the night before. As a working parent, to have a set schedule going into the Season, and then to have that schedule change week to week and day to day put and incredible strain on family life, and shows zero respect for the parents, the kids, discipline, and time management. 3) Coach Williams cancelled a Monday night practice because the Dallas Cowboys were playing Monday night football. Coach Williams is a BIG Cowboys fan. Again, zero discipline, and how Coach Williams comes before the kids. 4) the offense would practice and the defense would stand and watch; or Defense would practice and offense would stand around and watch. Special teams would practice and everyone else would stand around and watch. WORST TIME MANAGEMENT 5) Team never had the correct number of players on the field during games. They routinely were missing 1-2 players. I get it....1-2 times.....but it happened 2-3 times per game....EVERY GAME. 6) Coach Sayor had very poor class. Yelling at the other teams players that they were "scared" and "afraid". I have never seen a Coach go after the other teams players before....when they are 12 and 13yrs old. 7) There was a time when practice was routinely cancelled for all sorts of reasons, but a group of about 10 kids decided to still show-up and practice because they wanted to be prepared for the game, instead of continuing to get their butts beat. These 10 kids showed up to practice and the practice was lead by parents. Coach Williams showed up to, but since practice was officially cancelled, he decided to NOT coach these 10 kids at all. He decided to do field maintenance and leave the kids on their own. THAT WAS THE THEME FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON, THE KIDS WERE ON THEIR OWN. If you want you child to learn about Leadership, Honor, Commitment, Class, Sportsmanship, discipline, time management and the game of football......you will go play for another team.

There are better football leagues out there with way better prices wish I could get the over $200 i paid and for what a crappy jersey that was late and looks rushed and used equipment which has to be returned.They play favorites a lot also like with snack the one women who was on the bored took all the snack days which I don't think is fair we (tiny mites) barley got to do any on days that barley any people were there. We tried the hot dog, chicken nuggets, pizza, icy, sodas, and beers, and everything was a great choice while hanging out and watching the action. The bathrooms were also clean, which is always a big plus when you're there with the family. They don't allow outside food or drinks, and admission is $10 per person for anyone over 12. One thing that was convenient for us was that they didn't check our wagon, so we were able to bring it in. Overall, it's a fun, clean, family-friendly place with a great atmosphere and a unique view of multiple baseball fields. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

For the prices charged to enter, to do tournaments, the grounds are the worst. Rude staff that get on your case for a Gatorade after spending 50 just to get in. The surrounding grass area is a mix of dead grass and dirt. The cemented areas are covered in dirt and sludge. The bench seating is sparce so you're forced to bring in chairs and sit in areas with holes and puddles with mosquitoes. The dugouts/team seating have cheap cloth covering only portions of it. This place sucks and shouldn't even charge entry if they aren't taking care of anything.

What makes Stormbreaker different is that it was specifically created to solve frustrations that parents and players commonly experience in club volleyball. One of the biggest issues in club volleyball is roster size. Many clubs carry 12-14 players, meaning some girls spend large portions of tournaments on the bench, players worry about being substituted out after mistakes, and teammates feel like competitors fighting for the same playing time. Stormbreaker intentionally keeps rosters smaller, typically around 9-10 players. The girls are not only on the court more often, but they have a defined role and purpose. They are part of every match and rotation rather than wondering if they will see the floor. That consistency allows players to develop confidence through real game experience instead of constantly worrying about being replaced. Another major difference is training volume. Most clubs provide two practices per week. Stormbreaker provides three, plus additional opportunities for clinics, scrimmages, and position-specific development. More touches, more repetitions, and more feedback lead to more growth. Practices are also structured differently. Stormbreaker often has multiple teams training simultaneously with four or more coaches actively involved. Athletes are divided into position groups. Setters with setting coaches, hitters with hitting coaches, liberos on defense and serve receive, middles on middle-specific skills. The specialized instruction and repetition the girls receive is dramatically higher than what we experienced elsewhere. Stormbreaker also has something most clubs don't offer: a dedicated strength and athletic development area called The Vault. The girls participate in structured conditioning sessions focused on athleticism, explosiveness, core strength, injury prevention, and volleyball-specific performance. We've personally watched players become stronger, jump higher, and gain confidence over a single season. We also appreciated that development was built into the club experience rather than requiring constant outside lessons. Between three practices, specialized coaching, strength training, clinics, and additional opportunities for extra reps, our daughter received far more development within the program itself than we experienced elsewhere. Stormbreaker is also not built around a single coach. Jonathan, the club director, is deeply involved and genuinely cares about players and families. He has invested tremendous time studying collegiate, Olympic, and high-level volleyball development systems so coaches work from a shared philosophy. Unlike many clubs where your experience depends almost entirely on one coach, Stormbreaker has worked to build a consistent developmental system. The goal is that players continue progressing regardless of which coach they have because the training philosophy, skill development priorities, and expectations are shared across the club. What impressed me most, however, is the culture. The emphasis is not only on volleyball skills but on character, confidence, resilience, leadership, and personal growth. The club's mission and core values show up in how coaches interact with players, how families support one another, and how girls are encouraged to grow as athletes and young people. Our own team faced plenty of challenges. We had players learning new positions, several first-year club athletes, and periods of instability that could have derailed development. Instead, we watched the girls improve dramatically. They became more skilled, more confident, more competitive, and more resilient. Our daughter gained meaningful court time, developed confidence, and grew more in a single season than we expected. More importantly, she genuinely looked forward to practices and finished the season loving the game even more than when she started. We've spoken with many families from other Stormbreaker teams, and our experience is not unique. Parents consistently share that their daughters improved more in one season than in previous years elsewhere. No club is perfect, and Stormbreaker is still growing. But it was intentionally built to address problems many families have simply accepted as normal in club volleyball. They created an environment where athletes can develop, compete, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy the game. For our family, the difference has been significant, and we are grateful for everything our daughter gained this season both on and off the court.

I wish there were a zero star. I enrolled my son into Brea NJB and it has been a series of failures…read moreand disorganization by NJB. A week before the season starts they let us know that they hadn't secured any courts in Brea despite knowing for months that this season was going to be happening. Then they told parents that they needed a volunteer parent coach or the first game would be cancelled and continue to be cancelled without a volunteer. When no one stepped up they cancelled the game and I asked for a refund. I don't understand how they can't get these things organized before a season is set to start. I've asked for the refund one month ago and multiple emails where they had said my refund was submitted but I haven't heard anything. They've now stopped replying to me all together. So now not only are they incompetent they're straight up thieves. Do not support NJB.

We decided to try out NJB (Huntington Beach chapter) based on some recommendations from friends…read more Note: most of them tried it summer/winter season when I guess there's more participants and more volunteer help. However, the spring season for the Rookie division (K-1, 5-7 year olds) was super disorganized from the start and it hasn't gotten better after numerous parents bringing up concerns throughout the season with Coach Dennis who happens to be the founder of NJB too. This has been the worst sports league we have ever joined! 1) They shouldn't have 5-7 year olds play together and if they do, they should divide the teams equally by skill level but that wasn't the case. One team had much taller, more experienced players that would often dominate during scrimmages. Some of the younger ones would get upset, feeling discouraged which isn't a good start when introducing a sport. 2) The league should provide more coaching for basics and fundamentals as it was the first time for some of the kids playing. That being said, all practices are run by parents who volunteer to coach including some who reluctantly did so. Sadly, they are not given any instruction on drills so it's up to them how they want to structure practices. This happened the first time where the paid coaches just watched the volunteer coaches figure out how to coach the kids without giving them any guidance. After complaints, Dennis told us from week 2 week, we would have someone professionally give our kids instruction the first 30 minutes, then scrimmage the last 30 minutes but sadly that only seemed to happen 3x. The paid referees were supposed to come for all the scrimmages/games, but didn't. We had parent volunteers step in with some of the weekend scrimmages/games and referee too when no professional from the league showed up. This was so unprofessional. 3) Game times were sometimes changed 1-3 days prior to the actual game or from a Sunday to Saturday. One weekend we weren't suppose to have a game, then we were emailed that same week that we would have one. 4) Not all updated games have been emailed out. So some parents downloaded the NJB app (which only some knew about) and said that was more updated on there, but that still didnt show all the upcoming games. 5) Rookie division plays with 8 feet (vs 10 feet hoop). We found out in order to have practice with 8 feet hoops, we have to pay additional rental fees to practice at local schools that have them. When asked if we get a partial/refund, Dennis flat out said "no" because everything was done as promised, which wasn't. I'll be sharing my experience with other families and mom groups that I'm a part of.
