Will not be returning. Ever. I thought this location was going to be better than the Sarno location because it had better reviews.. didn't realize most of them are probably paid actors. Our server was nice, but not super accommodating nor very experienced. The food, sub par. The price, outrageous because the portions were so tiny barely filling up the plate. Normally my toddlers can share a meal, but today they had like 15 fries to split and I'm not joking. I asked if I could have little more to perhaps fill up the plate and he told me they'd charge me extra!! I asked before I ordered my burrito if it came with sour cream and guac, he said yes. Then it comes out with nothing (simple mix up I guess) then he says they'd have to charge me to add it. We got margaritas and they were disgusting. The tequila was bottom shelf (as expected) but it was so overwhelming. Someone teach them how to make a drink please. I had one sip and asked if I could get a sangria instead and he said he couldn't swap it or take it off the ticket so I'd just have to pay for both drinks. I've literally never heard of a restaurant refusing to take it off the bill for a drink I didn't even drink.. I was really disappointed. It takes me a lot for me to write a review, I have to love it or hate it. This experience was awful. Our poor server should get some new training and a new job. I took a chance and tried Fiesta Azteca again after many years. I was going to raise my review to three stars. The food is very expensive, my chicken Super Burretto was bland and I couldn't taste the Tequila in my margarita. The service was fine and friendly. My major complaint. COCKROACHES IN THE BATHROOM!!! I had been going to this restaurant for years. 192 Melbourne location. Sadly, I Dont believe I will be returning. This was a place I loved to take clients and family too. Last night I took my family to eat there everyone was excited until we received our food. The restaurant raised their prices by a lot most meals $8.00 and up. Which everything seems to be going up. That was not the sad part. When we received our food. There was a very small piece of chicken like half of a half of breast. And the steak was two little pieces of cut steak. It was sad. They raised the price and reduced the food portion. The waitress was someone I knew and she brought the food out and apologized. Told me I'm not sure why they are doing this. This review is for the Sarno location: Salsa was spicy! I like! I usually ask for the hotter salsa that they hide in the back but this was plenty hot for me. Chips were not warm which is my preference. . My dinner mate ordered the combination plate with three selections, chile relleno, hard taco, and beef enchilada. I ordered the Pollo crema with a cheesy mushroom sauce, with Ranchera beans( the whole bean instead of mashed). Beans tasty but a little toothy. Chicken portion large but VERY over salted. Couldn't eat half of it. My dinner mate enjoyed his selection. The rice is roasted and always delicious. Huge portions! The table was so wobbly to the point that the wobble almost knocked our beverages off the table. Tried to shore it up it up with a napkin which then made it worse. We switched to another table which was wobbly too. Our server noticed that we had moved to another table because of the wobble, and she said they're all like that. Prices are excellent! There seems to be some renovating going on in the main lobby, the fountain is no longer working, sitting there silently, and there was a bucket with a rag just laying on the floor. Kinda tacky. This restaurant is certainly not designed with acoustics in mind, and there was a large party going on. It was very loud with plates clattering and loud voices reverberating everywhere. First time here and I really liked the food . I forgot to take pictures it was so good . My friend and I took this cute corner booth and our waitress was friendly and quick to come take our order which we decided to do the fajitas for two . The chips and salsa are always good while waiting on our food. Chicken and Steak were on a steaming hot plate and seasoned well with green peppers and onions. Pretty good Mexican restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. The food is top notch but the service is not too good. The complimentary chips are delicious and the salsa is very good as well. Let me begin by saying we have been there before.. food was good ... I only had to say it was too salty one time earlier. We have not been there for 6 months , Could not wait to get there. My first order was a house margarita (was always spot on) Got It .. sipped ... all mix .. waitress says .. it's the house ( so basically it was supposed to be bad) . Ordered a different selection... was better ... now onto the food .. Asada .. steak .. too salty ... black beans over salted .. my husbands refried .. too salty. During dinner the pipes above us started sweating .. so over our food and drinks .. they started to MOP the pipes... And as I said HEY WE ARE EATING ... they kept going ... explaining the pipes were dripping .. First off I would give zero stars if I could. This was the worst dining experiance of my life! I used to go to this location a lot 10 yrs ago, until the waitress dropped my bank card between the wall and counter where the register was and then gave me an attitude when I wanted it back. I figured 10 yrs have gone by I'll give it another chance. We sat and did drink orders and everything was fine. The waitress brought chips and salsa. The chips are not like I remembered, tasted like a cheap bagged chip also she said the salsa was spicy and would we like a mild one, we replied yes. We never received one. We ordered food for the 5 of us and a queso. I'm pretty sure it was just Velveeta microwaved on a plate with chili flakes sprinkled in it. It was so rubbery it broke chips and we had to break it off with a utensil to try to eat it. Our food comes out piece by piece. There was nothing for out little two kids. So I told her and she looked at me like I'm stupid and with a snarky attitude says what do you want me to do? I said I want their food so I reorder. My daughter wanted a burrito and she brought an enchilada out. My fajitas were missing the topping, no cheese, no tomato, no lettuce. The beans tasted off. Meat was super chewy. I wanted to walk out when she forgot my kids food.... We should have there was no reason to spend $62 (she got no tip, which we have NEVER done before) for food that was wrong and low quality. Small place with limited seating. the place definately looks like it once had a working drive thru, like it was originally a mcd's or burger king. The benches for the booths are hard. The chairs are little better, but despite this I enjoy this restaurant as a lunch spot. I love the lunch fajitas, theu're basically the same size as the dinner portion, but cheaper. Beer can be had by the pitcher. The beer is kept cool with a frozen ice stick that is in a plastic container, so it wont water down the cervesa. The fajitas come with rice, guac, refried beans and diced tomatoes. Pancakes come on the side. the fajitas itself comes on a sizzling platter with grilled onions and peppers. Good on the pancakes or just eaten off the plates. Overall enjoy the food. For a quick delicious fajitas linch, this is the place. Just keep the expectations on the seats and furniture in check. read more

I have been here many times and to many of their locations. Every location is decorated in that rustic baja style so many Americans are used to. I must say that the food here is not my favorite at all. Usually dishes are under spiced and overcooked. Meat dishes like Machaca come out dry and tacos come out with stale shells and lack flavor. Things here have changed. The chips are not good, they taste and feel old. The salsa seems like it's from a jar. We had two margaritas and ordered the Carnitas dinner. It was a large full plate of food that was actually pretty good. Carnitas though, is a sort of build your own burrito/taco thing sort of like fajitas. The meal only came with two tortillas for that whole plate. I asked for more and was charged 95 cents for two more! A dollar really isn't a big deal to me, but including only two tortillas with that plate is silly and charging a dollar for two more is insulting when one has ordered a larger menu item and drinks. This cheap policy set by management unfortunately makes the customer want to act cheaply which probably affects the waitstaff. read more

My husband and I have been coming here the past 2 1/2 yrs we have lived in Palm Bay. Fiesta Azteca is our Number 1 favourite for romantic dates. The atmosphere is subdued and as authentic as you can get for Mexico or even New Mexico. We love the sizzling fajitas, I always get the shrimp, they are BIG! Nice the other plate has rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole etc. plus what ever kind of tortillas you like corn or flower. They have salsa from mild for Americans to the very hot that we love, you can even get both and mix them. They are generous about the chips and salsa and keep it coming. Delicious, authentic Mexican right here in Melbourne. I went with a chicken chimichanga and it was awesome. The service staff could be a bit more attentive but to be fair we came for lunch on a Friday so not that big of a deal. I've dined here a few times now. It's location is convenient to where I live. I'm not crazy about the food. Last time the cheese was not melted in my enchiladas. The service is always good. We use to love this location, but I'm not sure what has happened in the past few months. We had dinner there a few weeks ago and ordered the Fajitas for Two. Now, in any other restaurant you go to, that means you get enough meat for two people and the accompaniments (tortillas, etc). When our food came out, it was the same meat portion you get for one and accompaniments for two. We asked the waitress and she said that was the normal portion and then the manager came over to explain that Fajitas for Two actually means you only get "sides for 2." He then proceeded to tell us that we were saving $1 because if we ordered extra sides it would cost more. I'm not sure what planet he thought we were from to believe that explanation. What happened to my favorite Mexican establishment in Melbourne?? The food on this trip was nowhere near the quality I was accustomed to experiencing in past years. The tamales were flavorless and tasted like they'd been in the steamer way too long. They've also started putting an odd coleslaw on the plate too alongside the beans and rice. If you like that kind of thing, great, but I personally don't want coleslaw alongside my enchiladas. I was kind of let down given this is a yearly pilgrimage for us from Northern California. My family and I chose this location to meet and eat because it was easy to find and convenient to our location. That is where the positive ends. The other Fiesta Azteca restaurants in the area received high marks on the chips and salsa as well as high marks on the food. Perhaps they are better than this one in the chain because the chips were average at best and the salsa had no flavor other than onion. My wife ordered a margarita which came in a beer mug with table salt on the rim and was one of the worst margaritas I have ever had. If you are a mexican restaurant and you can't get chips, salsa OR a margarita right, you should simply close up shop right there and spare everyone else. The rest of the meal was very bland and the service was poor. If you are in the mood for mexican, my advice is to look elsewhere. read more

Our first time here..we were actually referred to this place by an AT&T technician whom was at our home to "fix" the uverse service. Anyway..this place is super good..I got the Fiesta Sampler ($10.95) it was filling and tasty!
