Stopped here this month when coming back from BC. Seated quickly, even though they were busy. Different friend but they ordered the veg quesadilla also like the last friend I brought here 2 years ago. Giant portion still, they took half of it home. I got the carne asada which was skirt steak that came with rice, beans and corn tortillas. Price is decent. Our waitress was new or overwhelmed as she forgot what we had ordered just after writing it down and she went to deliver my soda to another table who told her it wasn't theirs. read more

Cute little restaurant with murals of Mexican scenes on the walls, carved and cushioned booths, tile, Formica and wooden tables create a homey atmosphere. We were staying in town for hiking in Olympic National Park & looooove Mexican food-- this place did not disappoint! The food was not only delicious, fresh, and authentic, but the portions were HUGE--definitely a great bang for your buck. Everything we ordered felt homemade and full of flavor, and the service was so friendly and welcoming. Such a great spot we're glad we found! :) We both got the chimichanga & chalupa combo. Just put an order in and picked it up. My wife just had surgery so a 2 different family member got her 100$ gift card. I go to pay and ask the younger lady if I can combine the two into one to make thing easier she says she doesn't know how to do that and she will go get a manager. Well the. The manager shows up tell me they can't do it because of bookkeeping, I ask it's the same amount of money. She looks at me and say well I'm not a manager and we can't do it and just walks away. Seems like a pretty big overreaction for a simple question. read more

I came in for an early dinner, solo, and was very promptly greeted and taken to a booth by a host. I came in just after a few groups of people and I was able to see that I was on the tail end of a small late lunch early dinner rush. A server brought me the complimentary chips and salsa, water, and a menu. Then after a short time the host returned and took my drink and food order. I ordered the fiesta fajitas - steak - with flour tortillas. The host returned with my food faster than expected for being behind so many other tables. My fajitas were served on a sizzling cast iron and the beans and rice were served with a nice dish of side condiments on a super heated plate to help keep them warm during the meal. The portions were generous and even though you might call the prices a bit high at first glance, you get what you are paying for. There were good amounts of steak and fresh veggies in the fajita mix. A second server refilled my drink when I was low, and a person who seemed to be a manager dropped by to pick up my plates when I was done. Then the second server took my card and cashed me out. It was a very good experience. The crew was obviously busy, but still managed to work well together to make my experience very pleasant. Even though I'm fairly sure I didn't have a server of my own due to so many tables coming in at once! Overall, I came in hungry and left happy. read more

Wow, amazing flavor! The chips were warm and the salsa was so good. It had chunks of tomato with a very slight heat to it. So good. Our food came quickly and was delicious. Prices were high, but We received very large portions. There was a lot of cheese melted on top of each of our orders. I would definitely return. read more

Authentic Mexican food. Big portions. Reasonable prices. The menu is extensive. The servers are prompt and friendly. We got our food quickly even though it seemed to be a busy night. We tried Fiesta Jalisco for the first time. We were surprised at how fast the food came out. The Margaritas are good and they even have a 27 oz. The service was attentive. The portions were quite large. We could not finish our meals. The Taquitos Rancheros were good but the Chili Verde lacked much flavor. We would return. read more

I had the nachos, they were extremely loaded. Except for the fact that it was just cheese sprinkled on top and warmed up. The chicken was ok. The service was below average with our waiter being hard to understand. For the price of the food I would've expected the ambiance to be magnificent. As someone that's been to Texas and northern Mexico I think the food here is a great representation of that. Everything was full of flavor and the portion sizes were more than enough. Everyone liked the food. The reason it got knocked a couple stars is because the soda machine needs calibration as there way to much soda water in the drinks or they needed to change tanks. The prices were also a bit higher then were used to for a casual Mexican restaurant. $27 for a single fajita plate is a bit high, we usually get doubles for that price. I ordered Taco Salad ($9.25 as of April 2021) and Carne Asada ($18.99 as of April 2021). The food was good, but the greens weren't fresh hence the 4 stars. For example, lettuce in my taco salad was soggy rather than crisp, and guacamole had brown spots. Other than that it was good. The service was super fast on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Love this place! They have a shredded beef macho nachos that is absolutely fabulous! All their other food is delicious also. I really enjoy their frozen strawberry margaritas. Staff is always very attentive. This is one of our favorite places to eat in Port Angeles. read more

We knew we'd be eating here when we walked past the place. We could smell the food & the parking lot was full. We all ordered different things & had bites of what everyone else was having. Huge portions, & ended up taking some leftovers home for lunch. We will definitely eat here again next time we visit Port Angeles. For dietary info, nothing is spicy unless stated, & this is coming from someone who can't handle simple table pepper. If you have IBS, this place will not affect you much. read more

OK, this isn't San Diego, so reality mandates reasonable comparisons. That's why I am comparing the few local Mexican Restaurants in this review. Fiesta Jalisco makes the best Mexican food in the North Olympic Peninsula. On a typical afternoon-evening my husband enjoys Chimichangas, Enchiladas and their RefiedBeans, plus their Mexican Rice is excellent (and vegetarian!). Their Spinach Enchiladas (the vegetarian's standard) are the best in Sequim, PA and PT, in my 'SoCal'-bred estimation. They also have great salsa and the best chips. Yay for having such quality Mexican food here in Paradise! Also the service and ambiance are commensurate with said quality and prices are very reasonable. read more

The server was clearly having a bad night and didn't hesitate to take it out on us. She was particularly angry that we didn't order quickly enough. The food just didn't taste right so I asked for a new plate. The replacement was better than the first, but not close to the good food I have had before. When we got the bill they refused to remove the first dish served. We spoke to the manager and she also refused stating their menu said that if you send food back, you pay for it anyway. I checked the menu and it doesn't indicate that. We got the triple whammy: bad service, bad food and double charged for a meal. There are lots of good spots in town for Mexican food. Posted hours online state this restaurant is open until 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. We attempted to go last night and arrived at 8:15 pm. Was very disappointed with the service of the waitress. Everything started off good my boyfriend and I came in for his birthday, then the food came out and his burrito was drenched in sauce. He's very particular when he orders and it did not mention that the burrito was 'wet' on the menu. It would have been okay if they would've just taken it off like we asked since he didn't eat a single bite, but instead they argued and insinuated it was his fault because it doesn't say it's a dry burrito on the menu. No one should be made to feel like that going out to eat. I hope the staff take some self reflection on how they treat customers. read more

Fiesta is always consistent, fast, friendly and accommodating. Als awhen the other restaurants in town close early you can count on them for still being open. While doing so they are happy to have you even 30 minutes before closing time. We've had them cater for us for special lunch and dinners. It's hot, delicious and always a favorite if you need to feed 100 of your closest friends. I should also mention that the owner is a local family that shops local. For those of us who live in Port Angeles that is a bonus! read more

I do not reccomend this place they served the most disgusting special called carnitas but it was nothing like carnitas, the steak and chicken were all curled up from cooking on too high heat and it sort of resembled fajitas but was not edible due the meat being rubbery. I even asked about it before ordering and the girl said it was good, I literally showed it to her and said i would like real carnitas and she said oh we don't serve that.. i thought she was joking.. but the joke was on me even the chips were stale. Fairly mediocre Mexican restaurant in the Port Angeles. I had the enchiladas and chimichanga. the host taking our order would not let us use green sauce on it as they could only do red sauce in the combo. We even requested for such a minor change which the host was again not ready to accomodate. We also got nachos and chicken for the table. The chicken was fairly plain tasting and dry. Overall we werent very impressed with the food quality and wont come back. There is a silver lining though, the free chips and salsa were pretty good. I used the spicy salsa on my enchilada for some flavor. read more
