It's a Belgium thing, and it is delicious!

I really do enjoy this spot. Both times I have been it's been a really good time. Had some cheese curds that were definitely the best in the area. Ooey gooey stretchy cheese was cooked perfectly and paired with wasabi mayo that just made them pop even more. Service was A+ with Cameron taking care of me. Attentive, friendly, and brought me an early birthday slice which was unexpected and so nice. Very loud of course for the holiday weekend but everybody was vibing and enjoying the local events. There are so many things on the menu I want to try so looking forward to coming back and hopefully having Cameron as mg server again. He definitely elevated the experience. Cheers!

Foods I ordered: * 2 Baja Halibut Fish Tacos Seafood Basket (Shrimp, Cod, Halibut) Halibut Fish Tacos: 5/5 These were battered to perfection, with a thick, flaky, and tender cut of halibut pairing well with the coleslaw and cilantro. Whenever I travel to coastal cities, I'm always on the lookout for good fish tacos, and these were definitely delicious. Since they were about $25 for two tacos, it was definitely a "one and done" for me. Seafood Basket: 4/5 This is your typical fried seafood basket, including halibut, cod, and shrimp. All the seafood was fresh. I enjoyed the shrimp; they were bouncy, but not rubbery like frozen shrimp. The cod was flaky and plump. The halibut was the same cut as the fish tacos--denser and packed with flavor. I really liked this dish, but after a couple of bites, the heavy fried food definitely got to me. It'd be better if they served this with a side of coleslaw or vegetables to balance out the entire meal.

Best fried oysters I have ever had!!! The shrimp are exceptional as well. The tartar sauce is delish!! The Bloody Mary has strong horseradish flavor which I love. Outdoor seating option. Lots of room. Great service.

Location - Great! Food: very good We got the crab cakes and fish & chips. They were really generous with the crab (not too much filler) and the sauce had a nice tang. The fish & chips were very good as well - the breading was not too thick and it wasn't overly greasy. Both came with fries which were very hot which means they timed things very well in the kitchen! Bottom line: an excellent choice and definitely worth a visit!

Great location, plenty of seating and really friendly service. Food- really good: Smoked Salmon Chowder- superb. Great taste, plenty of seafood Dungeness Crab Cakes- are a must anywhere in this area. Really good taste, nice sear to hold it together and the sauce was a good accompaniment. Fish &Chips- both the fish and the fries were excellent. This fish was the perfect balance of crunch with tender fish. Not greasy or heavily breaded. The fries were hot so they timed our food perfectly. Coleslaw- only negative but it's based on my personal preference. I like a light coleslaw to balance out the fried food. The coleslaw was too rich for that dish and we didn't finish it.

Good spot for a quick drink and some snacks in the afternoon. My friends and I passed by Port Angeles and were feeling a bit hungry. Knowing that the ferry line would be long, we wanted to grab some light food here before grabbing dinner back in Seattle. Hook & Line Pub was perfect for that. We stopped by Sunday around 2:30 and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated in the downstairs area where the bar is. They have a lot of food options, but we opted for a couple cups/bowls of chowder. They offer two kinds: the standard clam chowder but also a smoked salmon chowder that was very intriguing. I had a bowl of the smoked salmon for $11. Also shared chips and salsa for the table for $5. Food was decent. I liked the smoked salmon chowder with the chunks of smoked salmon inside, but next time I think I'll stick to clam chowder as that's my personal fave. However, I was a bit underwhelmed by the salsa, which I'm pretty sure came straight out of a jar, and the chips didn't taste very fresh. Also, one friend ordered a beer and they completely forgot; he didn't get it until we asked them about it maybe 15 minutes after ordering. Still, it was a good place for us to relax for an hour and get some food and drinks in before heading back to Seattle.

This was an all - on Seafood spot. So,a first ... Fried Oysters. excellent. As good as fried clams. And onion rings and The small bowl of clam chowder was the best on this trip so far and will set the Bar. Lots of clams and diced potatoes , all the same size. Oyster saltine tiny crackers on the side. My wife had a simple Grilled Cheese sandwich on Sourdough with fries. It all was more than we could finish. Shae, our server, really kept tabs on us and had great recommendations. There is no sea or harbor view. That's next door...... But, the decor here was very Nautical with lots of character.

Went on a Tuesday evening for dinner. There was at least a 20 min wait + additional 25 min for the food due to the short staffed night. All the staff were very kind, and we weren't in any rush to get our food, however, the starter calamari came out after our mains arrived, so we did not finish this. As for food - This was a solid place for fish and chips and loaded clam chowder! I would skip the calamari next time, as the breading was a little heavy for me.

Poke Bowl! Delicious but needs to have a white rice option.

Stopped in while passing through. The restaurant was super packed so we chose a side by side table on the patio, facing the street. Hostess was on it and brought us water... took about 15 minutes to get a waitress and I had to stop her because she took an order from someone next to us who hadn't been there as long as us and she started walking back in. She was extremely polite and took our order. No other issues service wise during our dinner. Drinks were solid, I ordered the 2 piece cod which was delicious, I even ate most of the fries which I usually waste. GF ordered a poke bowl which was a little spicy but very good. Her only suggestion was to serve it with white rice. Other than that, great place. Decor was nice even though we sat on outside. Obviously popular and earned that. We would eat there again.

Just stopped by for happy cocktail but obviously a popular hotspot in town. Near the ferry and great Menü with expansive cocktails, beer and wine. Highly recommend

Service was great, friendly and attentive. Super excited they have fried cheese curds! They did not disappoint! I got the fish n chips(halibut) & subbed to e fries for a side caesar salad. It was the best fried fish I've had not!! Perfectly breadedmy husband got the fried soft shell crab burger. It was so cute. He also got some fried oysters. This will definitely be a mist stop for us whenever we are in Port Angeles!!

Stellar! Incredible service (shoutout Lynn). Great location. Fun setting. And best of all fantastic food! Our group of 12 stopped in for a late lunch and were immediately seated. Service was prompt and ultra friendly. We had some wild little kids with us which they totally accommodated. As for the food, they have an upscale seafood tavern menu. Perhaps my favorite thing was all of the house made dipping sauses which were 10/10. The seafood platter, shrimp tacos, coconut shrimp, and fish and chips all had great reviews by our fam Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and experience in port Angeles

The best. Absolute best. Courtney is the best waitress - Atmosphere is great! Drinks are good! Not one bad thing about this place. Shrimp and crab melt sandwich 10/10 CLAM CHOWDER 100/10 poké bowl 10/10 Soft shell crab 10/10 Po boy is more like a rich boy. It's huge. Kids loved burger and chicken strips.

The hot crab dip was delicious but a bit small. The bread it came with was so seasoned and delicious! The clam chowder wasn't anything special, but it was definitely enough for two. But then we were sat in the enclosed party area with two other tables, and not that it was the restaurant's fault but there were screaming children and the enclosed area just echoed everything. We thought to ask to move, and we should have. So note that if you get sat there. Our server was a sweet girl, took our order after grabbing us drinks and checked in to make sure we had everything. The main issue I had was the taste of the food since some dishes were a bit pricey. Three in our party ordered the fish and chips, that they all said was really bland and nothing special but the fries were crisp and good. My husband and I ordered the grilled Tiger Shrimp entree and the Salmon Fettuccine Alfredo. The shrimp were rubbery and tasted like that had been under the warm lamp for a bit. And I wish they would have side substitutions since the grilled veg was a squash zucchini mix with rice but it all had no flavor. The Salmon Alfredo was kinda the same. Bland and dry fish, but at least a good portion. But the sauce was broken and stringy, needing seasoning as well. My husband and I's ticket with sodas and one cup of pretty good clam chowder came to around $90 before tip. Needless to say we were disappointed with our first seafood experience since traveling from Arizona.
