Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - the specialty box came with a drink, fries, beefy melt, taco, and a chicken chalupa. The food overall was good as long as you enjoy this type of food to begin with. My SO doesn't care for thicker breads so didn't care too much for the chalupa. Ambience: 4/5 - typical fast food chain decorations. You definitely feel the inspiration from both taco bell and KFC. Since there were so many customers coming in and out, some tables were sticky and dirty though. Service: 3/5 - they tried really hard to serve the customer and deliver the food but they seemed very short staffed where everyone is doing everything but no one specializes in their station. The person wearing a black chef's shirt came out from behind a counter and scolded me for being mean and cussing to his employee that told me I had to fill my soda myself. I reminded him that "this is a door dash", he responded surprised, but still scolded and threatened to report me to DD. He claims i said that "they can kiss my ass if they expect to me to fill the drink". Which I may very well have said, under my breath, and definitely not to the kid who immediately darted away to the back with an empty cup after I explained that I had not washed my hands, did not possess a WA State food handlers permit, and the fact that I didn't work there. There were people waiting impatiently in line, so I was mainly thinking out loud. The drink was handed to me, the chef's shirt yelled as I was half way out to never come back. I've dashed this store many times and never seen either of these workers, and I've never been asked or told to fill drinks here before. The orders are late 90% of the time and they seem to run out of things, food and drink holders which I suggested and used chicken buckets for carrying multiple drinks. I got the Spicy Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito, Cheese Quesadilla, and Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes delivered by DoorDash from Taco Bell today. That was enough to get the $5 off of $20 order offer Taco Bell was having on DoorDash today. It was the first time I've had any of those three items, and they were all delicious. However, I was shocked at how little food was given in the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, and I figured there must be something really special about the quesadilla for it to be so expensive. It's really just a quesadilla that's almost as expensive as the Spicy Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito, which by the way is exactly the same as a Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito, except with the addition of jalapenos. They both have other spicy stuff in them. The burrito, on the other hand, was huge and the most delicious of the three. If you don't care how much something costs, I recommend all three. If you're looking for a deal, stick with the Spicy Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito. It's definitely worth your while and your money, and if you're ordering on DoorDash, don't forget that you can get any of the four kinds of hot sauce packets for free. From my letter to TB corporate: -- This Taco Bell has a broken, dark/unlit menu board and a sign at the drive-thru speaker that says "Cash only after 8pm." The sign is not immediately obvious and after waiting in line for 10-15 minutes, the car in front of us did not have cash and so had to wait in line with everyone else until they could exit the parking lot. To their credit, both employees we interacted with handled the situation in a calm and friendly way, and exhibited excellent customer service. But Taco Bell is not being fair to them by putting them in the position of telling people it's cash only after 8 pm WHEN THE CUSTOMER GETS TO THE DRIVE-THRU SPEAKER. You are setting your employees up for a stressful shift by dealing with disgruntled customers who cannot leave the takeout line until everyone else has received their food. Please read the many Yelp reviews about this and consider changing your policy or putting a sign up BEFORE people approach the speaker so that they can make the choice to leave instead of needlessly wait in line. You are not setting your employees up for success under the present circumstances. And honestly, you are losing money because it's 2020 and hardly anyone carries cash anymore. -- I hate it when a corporation puts profits over people and in this case, Port Angeles's Taco Bell is doing its employees a great disservice because the guys at the window tonight were super nice, professional, and seemed to be putting up with a lot of crap from other people, in part because of the sign situation. Tried to feed my two hungry children here today. The man on the phone was rude and dismissive. I tried the Taco Bell app and tried to place a 47$ order. Both cards I tried are good working credit cards but the app said 'declined'. However, I then checked each one's app and discovered I had been charged 47$ twice!! Worst ever Taco Bell experience. Waited 20 minutes in drive through. Got the wrong food. Went back and waited 22 minutes inside the store for the correct food. Never got it. "Manager" Brian J gave nothing but attitude for their ineptness. I said I wanted a refund because my husband's food was cold by now and I never received my correct food. Even though they repeat back your ONE modification, they still don't get it right. There was another car ahead of us, assumed they ordered but they pulled ahead to look inside before driving off. After no response, pulled up, saw no one but heard metal clang, then saw a very pierced employee staring at his phone while completely ignoring the drive through window as if no one was there. OMG... Tourist from LA and came here as a last resort for food. Let me just say that from a tourist point of view, Port Angeles is a sad little town where all restaurants seem to close at 9 PM. Anyway, the place was completely deserted when my family and I went in. I guess the guy who took our order was pretty friendly/ nice, but there were a bunch of employees sitting at a nearby booth chitchatting. Also, the food was horrible.
