Our dryer at home died its last load (RIP) and until we get it replaced we've had to seek out alternatives. I tried to visit a few other locations this Sunday morning, including one down the street from here, but unsurprisingly parking is a nightmare and I didn't want to walk with 30lbs of laundry. Fortunately, after giving up on Laundré, I noticed an empty spot in this parking lot and decided to commit. It seemed busy but there were a lot of empty washers and dryers when I arrived. They take both coins (tokens) and card and I didn't have trouble finding a cart or folding space for items. There are benches inside and outside for seating while you wait. Also a bathroom that the attendant oversees, plus some vending machines. Is it new and pristine? No. But the machines were clean, fast, and get the job done. read more

Parking (small lot but I found a spot on sat morning) machines take cards, coin machines, atm. Options for regular loads or turbo loads (says 8 but I'm thinking it's more like 6 big loads, for $15). There's a bathroom, vending machine for soap and snacks. The attendant was ultra helpful and kind. It might be a bit higher priced than some bit it's worth it! Some older reviews wrongly say no cards but they do take cards. While there aren't tons of comfy seats there are benches, rolly baskets and plenty of places to fold. Its clean (and guys were actively cleaning the machines etc while i was here), good temperature control with big fans, not crowded with big aisle space. One of the best laundromats I've been to. Now how is this 24 hour laundry services if it's freaking closed¿???? Bad job dummies

Long story short, our apartment decided to launder all of the clothes and washable items we owned in one night, so a commercial laundromat was the way to go. The machines here are gigantic (probably the capacity of 2 dryer loads at home) and get really freaking hot. I'd estimate about 40 dryers and 40 washers each. No wait at all. Downsides are no chairs for one to sit at, but apparently there's free wi-fi! The laundry cards are a bit frustrating as they don't fit the machines properly and one has to play it a couple times (or find a friend with the magic touch!) in order to get these babies working. Otherwise, you'll end up in machine reset land like me. $1 per 15 minutes of drying, not sure about the wash. The machines are cash only. Open until 2am! read more

At most other places you would toss your item into the dryer,put in a couple of quarters and add money as needed. Not here...They have a wash-card system that ends up being very expensive and wasteful. I was visiting an old friend and helping him with laundry on Saturday.unfortunately we had a terrible experience. The change Machines didn't take $50 bills so I literally walked across the street to the sandwich shop to break the bill, by the time I got back to the laundromat (less then 5 minutes )The worker who was an older Hispanic male was yelling at my friend Frantically about our clothes sitting too In the washer and told us to remove our clothes and leave or he was going to call the police . I've been coming here for a while now because they have bigger machines available and in the most recent time I had a problem with the top and bottom dryer machine that took two coins ($1 each = 16 minutes) but only counted the first one. I was supposed to get 32 minutes on each but only got 16 min. I looked for the help and the lady that works there came to me with attitude and acted like it was my fault because the coin was stuck. Whoo...Whoo...Whooo......... Whooo....Whoooo..... A night owl special. It's the only 24 hour laundry that I just found out about at literally the 11th hour. Everywhere else was closed, so I was happy to see this place. OMG yes. I was happy to see that all the machines were new and appeared to be in good working order. The attendant was cleaning so that's a good sign. The people who come here at night are friendly. One guy helped me load my laundry, another lady I befriended changed my bag of quarters into dollars so I could get the easy pay card to do my laundry..she also gossipped with me in English and Spanish. a double loud is three dollars and after midnight drying is sixty cents every fifteen minutes. I think Dave Atell should come here for his insomniac show. He could spend all night here talking to the people. Had I known this place existed when i worked graveyard shift and was stone cold awake at four am, I would've come here to wash! I think Dave Atell would feel right at home here. Outside are wooden beach chairs, each with their very own "SAN FRANCISCO" ashtray attached to it. Burritos and beer are not too far away on Mission. Very kitschy. Now, I have an extra clean down comforter and all four loads of laundry are in a perpetual state of clean. it may be a clean, functional laundromat--INSIDE. But have you ever looked on their roof? While they use solar panels, I can say as a neighbor that they do not care about the environment. The vents are terribly maintained and are basically open exhaust pipes spewing lint and fumes into the windows and yards of neighbors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They've also resisted requests by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to fix this problem. If you care about the environment and being a good neighbor in the Mission, don't be fooled by Fiesta. read more

All the machines here are front loading and under 2 years old so your wash load gets quality clean! I started doing laundry here because the tight ass property manager in my apartment wont fix the faulty machine(s) in our building. APARTMENT MANAGEMENT VENT: In our apartment building we have two machines; one with a cold cycle that stops whenever it's imbalanced, and one that eats your quarters but doesn't work. And for the dryers, one has a broke cracked rubber seal so all the heat escapes, then the other just has no heat. WHAT THEY DID: No they didn't repair them, but made signs saying: This machine only has cold water, this dryer...WTF! Fiesta wash is best to hit up during the weeknights, It can get pretty ghetto on the weekends like an unattended daycare/ hooker hideout, bring an ipod or magazine or watch spanish soaps or variety shows while you wait, better yet go slumming in the Mission after you drop your clothes into the dryer. If you drive there is a lot, but drivers tend to block you in by parking in the entry drive-in/ driveway. Just a warning I see cars get dinged every trip I go. read more

A star off for taking away the free coffee and installing a coffee vending machine instead. Fiesta Wash is probably still the newest laundromat in the Mission and I am one of the lucky ones to live within a couple of blocks. I own an obscene number of socks due to my many years of buying "just one more pair" instead of doing laundry that day so I ::heart:: the huge ass washing machines and the efficient dryers. I can dry a triple load of heavy cotton jeans in 50 minutes here. If it takes longer your machine is broken and you should inform the attentive staff who have apparently been instructed never to stand still but to walk around polishing the new stainless steel machines incessantly which is almost scary but you have to say they do sparkle. Open 24 hours so you can do your laundry anytime. I recommend putting your dirty clothes together in the evening and hopping out of bed around sunrise to launder on your full morning caffeine rush. It's *almost* painless, or as close to painless as going to a laundromat can get. Bring your own thermos of coffee though. read more

The people here could have been more helpful. I arrived on at 8:00am Sunday morning thinking the place would be empty but I was wrong. Not only were the staff really helpful to this Gringa but the clientele were equally outgoing and nice. Alma, one of the women who works there went out of her way to make sure that I had washers near each other and She NEVER STOPPED CLEANING the place for the 2.5 hours I was there. Fiesta Laundromat is definitely a fiesta. My time here was efficient, pleasant, and AWESOME. Not only were there plenty of washers and dryers to use, they are quick and actually CLEAN my clothes. The attendant was adorable and helpful when the vending machine wouldn't work and overall, other guests were courteous to where I was sitting and folding clothes. The free wifi helped keep me entertained and overall, I have no complaints. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review is the obvious environmental infractions. I've been coming to Fiesta for three years now. I can't say that "since Fiesta, I love doing laundry", but it's by far the best laundromat I've ever been to. Pluses: 1. The staff clearly love the place, because they are constantly cleaning. 2. All the machines are new, so it's rare to see broken machines. 3. It's cheap; definitely cheaper than BrainWash, and the machines are BIG. Which brings me to... 4. Plenty of washing machines, ranging from the smallest (double load) to the mega (5 loads). 5. Three big-screen TVs, usually tuned into a soccer match or Telemundo. 6. Plenty of quick, local food joints within walking distance. 7. A PARKING LOT. Holy crap, a laundromat with a parking lot? 8. It's open 24 hours, and you even get a price break if you wash between midnight and 6 am (I've never done it). Tips: it obviously gets crowded at times, especially Sundays. Why did you wait to wash your laundry until Sunday night? Of course it's busy. Next time, try an evening during the week. I have seen a few rude customers, but overall it's a nice, clean, safe place to do a lot of laundry in a short amount of time. PS: I just found a blog comment that I wrote about Fiesta on November 15, 2004, the day after I first went there. They don't give away free coffee anymore, but I stand by everything else that I wrote then. Here it is, in all it's unedited glory: "I tried out Fiesta yesterday around 5pm. What a great place! Whenever I don't feel like doing laundry back at my apt, I drag myself to this place full of mega-maxi-ultra load washers and dryers with centrifugal power that cycle fiercely like planet Mercury's orbit. Keep your quarters in your pockets or mitten compartments, this place only does cards. You get a new card for 49 cents and add the value at the dispenser.... you go back, you use the same card, simple :) I admit I completely forgot how it really feels like while doing laundry at a laundromat like Fiesta, there's nothing too salsa grande about this place, just bright UFO lights and a hunky manager. However, it's the energy of clean harmony that I missed.....you'd see hordes (depending on the hour) latino and asian families with kids behaving like unleashed 'huahuas, a gigantic south pacific Samoan couple that reminded me of the huge Easter Island statues, and a few homelessers lurking around the dispenser hoping to steal your underwear. Nah, I'm kidding about this one..but it could though happen. My last time there, I uncovered a treasure!
