My last 2 experiences with this Fiesta Mart have been very unpleasant & very rude. Customer Service is often Not a Top Priority in Today's World. At least not at this location. Sad! A couple of weeks ago upon entering the store the tortilla machine was out of service. While I tried to engage the employee behind the counter on estimated repairs, pure rudeness. The lack of masks worn by the staff was also nonexistent!!!! Yesterday I called to inquire if this Fiesta carried sugar cane in a can. The employee who answered the phone said they would ask the manager. Well, the male manager came to the phone and said No!!! And then he hung up on me abruptly! Well let's just say...I'm driving to Central Market for my tortillas now. And it's worth it for the better customer service & quality! Too many other grocery store choices in my Neighborhood to spent my dollars at Fiesta. read more

Horrible customer service!! You call and they just leave you waiting. I called at 11:55am 7/6/23. And am still waiting. I just wanted to ask if they have a certain product in stock. Great store for the reasons we go. Bolillos, tortillos, jicama and bakery items. We have bought bolillos here for many many years and the bread is always excellent and cheap. House made tortillos are super, don't mess around and eat them quick for they spoil fast. My wife goes here specifically for jicama and we rarely find it to be flavorless. We have never been rude to by staff, and at times they have been pleasant. Prices vary depending on items. Its an old shopping area...old... So the lot could use repaving and line of sight is tricky. Its in a family neigborhood so watch for kids breaking free from parents. read more

Got asked for so much proof of everything and anything including the stub that one keeps for records, only to be told I couldn't renew for whatever reason. I went online and renewed right away. Although the store has been getting a new look its personell has somehow gotten worse, I was standing in line waiting for my mother to come back with the tortillas and when the cashier opened the lane next to us she insisted i go over i told her multiple times both in spanish and emglish i wasnt ready yet and i was waiting on someone and she said i know im open she even clapped and i mean CLAPPED her hands at me in a hurry she was on lane 4 her name is MARIA and honestly there are FAR better ways of calling someone over especially when told that you are NOT READY to check out and there are other customers behind me that she couldve called over. read more

5 stars you say? For a Fiesta Mart? AM I CRAZY? Probably. But besides that point, which I'll explain for another day... I have visited pretty much all of the Fiesta Marts along the 75 corridor and some (Plano (Parker Rd), Ricahrdson (Spring Valley Rd), Carrollton (N Josey Ln), Oak Cliff (Jefferson Rd), Lower Greenville (Ross Ave)) and this particular one is my favorite of those listed. Why? Well, for the several contradictions found in this location: 1) It's smaller in scale - you can stroll around easily and comfortably. The shelves are not stacked up high, and feels like it's at a human scale. 2) Despite it being smaller in size, it's also the BEST ORGANIZED even though the other Fiestas have more square feet of space. It's also the cleanest and more modern Fiesta I've seen locally. 3) And again, despite it being smaller, there's EVERYTHING here - and I find things here that other Fiestas do not carry. More Indian goods, and DEFINITELY more Caribbean / South American goods. For French bread or something similar, I prefer their pan de agua (aka Caribbean bread - actually Puerto Rican), which I much prefer over their pan frances (aka French bread but it's Mexican style). Tastes better, and more versatile as the result. For produce, I was surprised that I could even find the Florida / Caribbean avocados which are conspicuously absent in many other grocery stores, including other Fiestas. For dry goods, they also have a large selection of Argentine Yerba Mate, and even coffee (much to my delight). And I could also find Venezuelan cheese and cachapa mixes, and SEVERAL corn flour brands specifically for arepas instead of just one. And plenty of Colombian guava pastes. I was even able to find canned Fabada soup, a typical soup from the Asturias region of Spain, which is available in every supermarket in Miami. And there's also a larger representation of Asian products as well - more Middle Eastern and Indian products than at any of the other Fiestas as well. I'll definitely be back to this one frequently. read more

OK this was my maiden voyage at Fiesta Mart, and I'd been looking forward to it for awhile. Large open store, with lots of fun unusual Hispanic/Latino food items (as well as a smattering of more "global" products). However, first thing upon entering: screaming children having a tantrum by the front booth. Not good. Overall the store is very...I don't know...somewhat "loose" insofar as products, product placement, cleanliness, etc. Some store shelves were neat and tidy, while some looked as if someone wanted that ONE item all the way in the back, and moved everything else in the section to get it. Also seemed that whoever does the stocking could not make up their mind about where to put certain items. In ONE aisle I found the very same products in no less than 3-4 sections of the same aisle...but 8 feet further down. Then another 6 feet further down. Then again across the aisle. Grain products seemed to be all over the place, and beans of all types--canned, bagged, dry--were all over the place as well. I honestly couldn't figure out exactly where they were supposed to be placed. It's as if someone said, "Eh, this is fine," and just plopped them on the shelves. I'd pass what I thought was the "sauce" aisle, when, another 2 aisles over, I'd come across the same items again, which was confusing: "Wait...didn't I just go down this aisle?" What was the thought process with this? "Well, people eat X with sauces, so let's put X in the sauce aisle. But they also eat it with beans, so let's also put it in the bean section. But we need to also put it over in this other aisle, because people like to eat it with ___." Um. OK. :-| Huge filthy black plastic draping hung from the ceilings by the produce area, and they look like they'd been there a long time. Product signage was also suspect, things looked like they were printed on label makers and just slapped on wherever. There was a huge stack of racks of soft drinks in the back aisle, where everything was covered with a film of grit and dust. Yuck. Some of the 4-packs of these soft drinks were ripped open, shrink wrap all over the place; yet some had the shrink wrap still around them. Everything just seemed very "higgledy-piggledy" everywhere I turned. Add to that the very energetic Mariachi-style music that was playing through the PA system, and it was definitely not the nice calm, relaxed atmosphere I had expected to shop in. In fact, I cut my trip short, didn't even get to the last 3-4 aisles, I just had to get out of Dodge. I realize it was the weekend, so organization was probably tepid at best, but what I saw made me think that they didn't really care all that much about making the place look nicer/better/more professional for their customers. Why? Don't they care about their customers? Or is it the customers themselves that are guiding how the store looks and functions, and they just got tired of trying? Whatever the reason, Fiesta Mart, you can--and should--do better for your customers! read more

This used to be an old Sack N Save grocery store a couple years ago. Fiesta has taken over the spot and I actually welcome the change. Not that Sack N Save was bad. I had gone there for as long as I remember. Fiesta just has better prices on fruit and vegetables and they always seem to be fresh. I like their seafood counter where I can buy crawfish by the lb for $2.29/lb or $2.19/lb if I buy it by the bag. I've tried buying crawfish at the Asian markets but the ones that Fiesta bring in taste better in my opinion. They also have very good deals on the rest of their seafood. I bought large, head on shrim for $2.99/lb just the other day. I'd say they've got great prices for seafood, vegetables and fruit. As for dairy, meat and other items, they are pretty on par with Albertson's. Walmart can be a bit cheaper on some of those items. During it's grand opening, Elvis was present and seranaded me with his song and even let me take a picture with him. I saw the Fiesta bird on one occasion. On the weekends they bring out a table to the front of the store and sell elotes en vaso (corn in a cup), tacos, tamales, horchata, etc. I love the hot sauce that they have available. Oh, they also make their own toritillas at the front of the store. I bought a 10-count package of plain flour tortillas for $1.00. I haven't tried them yet but will be making some breakfast tacos very soon. read more

Wow, Fiesta is a legit grocery store, comparable to any Kroger. First time stepping inside. I'd always driven by without giving it a second thought, but I'm seriously impressed. A lot of Hispanic foods too, so I'm happy. Prices also seem cheaper than Kroger. read more

as my store i have been shopping there for quite some time now and have i never seen a great professional security officer there as pleasant, curtious, friendly and very professional. as i shopped today he greeted not only me but as the customers were going in and out and even stopped traffic for all customers that were leaving the store and as i sat in my car for 10 minutes i observed him assist this elderly lady with her groceries, its nice to see a security officer walking the parking lot and go out of his way to help others btw very handsome young man if i may say. we need more people like him unfortunately dont know his name but he is doing a great job. i do know for a fact he is an Allied Universal Security Officer working day shift. read more

I wish, I wish I had one closer to me. I would shop here all the time. The produce is amazing and how can it be so inexpensive! The seafood has never disappointed. I'll take an HEB or Fiesta over any other grocery store!! Inspires me to cook even more when I'm here. My husband loves it when I say "I'm going to Fiesta." He just smiles because he knows I'm planning a great meal. I know HEB is now in Waxahachie. It would be nice if they made their way towards Rockwall. Fiesta is in Garland. Which is not really far from me. But would be nice to have something closer. Either way. Some of the freshest tropical produce in Dallas. These guys have REALLY good bananas. And how can you pass up their fresh tortillas?

Their deli in the back has breakfast tacos but no bacon and egg tacos. They had some once and the bacon was all fat and raw. The manager obviously didn't grow up on South Texas breakfast tacos and carne guisada, barbacoa, fajitas, etc. --- or they forgot.. They have a very wide selection of ethnic foods, but a bit high-priced. overall. Their store brand bread is good and cheap. Their bakery is very mediocre, but medium-priced. Why can't a store figure out that they need some "draws"? Cheap good Bakeries and breakfast tacos and fajitas would be a draw, but we wait and apparently it never happens. read more

The manager or the Taqueria is from west Tx and she can cook. The seafood is great and fresh from the Gulf coast. Produce is awesome and a very large section for Asian and Caribbean. Now they have fresh Sushi from a real Sushi chef by the entrance for anyone who wants fresh made Sushi . Its ground beef is made onsite and not prepackaged. read more

I have gone to this Fiesta Mart many times before but I do not buy seafood from here that often. I came home today, disgusted by the service that was presented to me. I found a good deal for shrimp in the papers at Fiesta so I decided to go. The papers did not give a maximum quantity for available purchase so I decided to buy shrimp. At other Fiestas, I was able to purchase as much as I needed whilst this Fiesta Mart did not allow my transaction. When I was looking for shrimps, I noticed most of the seafood products were old to some extent so I tried my best to pick out the fresh shrimp instead. I asked about whether or not there was a limit on purchases. The manager asked how many lbs I would like to purchase. I told him that I would like to purchase 50 lbs, in which the manager denied. He said that they had a limit although the deal that I was given did not have a mention of a limit. I told him about the misinformation of the papers and that it was unfair that there was a rule that did not show up on the offer. Because of this, I told the manager that my family would stop shopping at this Fiesta Mart any longer (because of the long drive we have to take in order to make a purchase which did not even occur) unless they change. We believed that since this store shared the same name as Fiesta, they should carry certain things from one another other than a name (like policies). He showed no concern or care at all saying, "That's fine." With that response, I became enraged in the manager because of his lack of care. I told him that if they had informed about the limits on the purchase on the offer, she wouldn't have complained. After leaving, I went to the Fiesta Mart on 1200 E Parker Rd, Frnt, Plano where I was served quickly and politely. The manager of that Fiesta was nicer and more cooperative than the other.
