When you walk in it appears to be a well stocked little grocery store with great produce selection but if you continue to the back you'll find Sara's grill. The nice gentleman at the counter, took our order and answered our questions. I got the shish tawook and it was delicious. I also ordered a side of hummus and some pita bread which really satisfied the craving I've been having for hummus lately. While we waited for order, we looked around the shop. We bought some baklava and cookies both of which were incredible. When our order was ready we picked it up and checked out at the cashier line. Love this place for it's homemade pita bread and recently just tried their grill. Everything was delicious and the service from the men there were extra nice. I just saw a TT that said the grilling station at the back of this little middle eastern market was spectacular, also the Bonafee pie. We had just had lunch, but this place was less than a mile away, I wanted to check it out (and spy that pie!) The baked goods and the prepared dips looked really good, and they have lots of Mejool dates (if ya know about these then you know!) There was a sign saying the fresh baked cookies were voted best in Dallas. I wanted the more normal flavors of the "best in dallas cookies" - but there were some middle easter date cookies that sounded not only great - but different, so we got those (9 cookies for $18). Still love visiting Sara's. The grill area in the back corner has been expanded a bit where they have two large wooden tables with seating so you can eat your platters or wraps here. I enjoy the kefta platter ($20) as well as the kefta wrap ($9). Babaganoush is always wonderful. Their pistachio mamouls are fantastic. Price is way up now which I get. 6 cookies used to be like $9.99 a few years back but now they are $17. Still worth it! So delicious. Their regular cookies have a sign that says they were the best cookie according to D Magazine for 2025. I tried the Belgian chocolate chip cookies and while they are a solid, good sized cookie, I found them a bit monochromatic in flavor and I enjoy the chocolate chunk cookies at Central Market more. Produce is always beautiful. Service is the best. Probably my favorite grocery store. read more

this little market is located a little off the beaten path in Richardson. There is plenty of parking and lots to shop when you get inside. Everything is very clean and well organized. If you were there just for a meal like we were, you had to the very back corner to the service counter. I had the steak kebab plate, and it was probably the most delicious steak I have ever had! Super buttery and cooked perfect. The rice was amazing as was the hummus. It's not cheap ($20 for the plate), but worth the money! I do wish the restaurant had more tables to sit out and eat or some tables outside. If you're going and want to eat there, there's only a few barstools or you have the option to eat in your car. read more

This was my first time visiting the store and I was very impressed. The store is clean and well stocked. I called in my order at the grill and it was hot and ready when I arrived. The gentleman at the grill even gave me a sample of their caramel baklava (I think that is what he said) I left with a delicious kebab/kefta lunch. We bought 3 tubs of different types of hummus from the grocery store and some pita bread, a jug of mint ayran, of which they have the best! Grill has expanded seating area for dine in. Food is always delicious and the chef is always a pleasure to do business with.

I've been here a handful of times and always stock up on their fresh whole wheat pita, hummus, and spicy labneh (their garlic spread is also very yummy)! I love their wide variety of offerings and have been able to find some niche items for baking/cooking! They have a great produce selection (and meat counter but I haven't grabbed anything from there yet). The grill is open slightly different hours from the grocery store but it is worth planning around since the shish tawook is SO yummy - it can last a couple meals and every aspect is delicious! They also have some yummy offerings in their bakery case (including the viral Dubai chocolate bars)! The staff is so nice/has been helpful with questions and I highly recommend checking out this spot! read more

Upon entry, you will see their vast, colorful, and well-kept produce selection, but the closer you get to the back is where the real magic lies! The first counter you will see is the butcher who has a stunning selection of quality fresh meats for very reasonable prices, and just behind that, you will find the best gyros, dips, and pitas you have ever had! Their deli offers everything from wraps to salads to desserts and a little bit of everything in between, and I can say that the food from here surpasses that of a lot of Dallas restaurants. My go to order is a gyro wrap, then on my way to the cash register, I pick up their homemade pitas, baba ganoush, and harissa. I will say, I was a tad hesitant about the gyro as I couldn't smell the aroma of the grill when walking the store, but this is just a testament to how well cleaned and ventilated the store is as the gyro is delicious & well seasoned. As a Lebanese guy, this bakery was excellent. They had a lot of old school items that I grew up with. I came here years ago back in 2016 and I'm glad to see nothing has changed. I have been wanting to try out Sarah's Market and Bakery for a while now. I'm Persian so I'm always seeking out middle eastern businesses in DFW. Right now, the mini sour plums are in season so I got a whole bag full. They are amazing! Also, got a full jar of sour pickles. As well as a fresh slice of pistachio cake. Not overly sweet and the pistachio flavor is amazing! The whole bakery looked amazing. Lastly, I had never seen pomegranate with pistachio squares before. The pomegranate is like a jelly consistency and it was very good! Overall, there's a great selection of veggies and fruits along with a bakery/grill and lots of canned goods. We visted this market last week to buy Black seed oil when we noticed that they have a grill take out place at the back. The lady that we were speaking with that day was super nice and friendly, patiently answering all our querries. So we decided to back to the market to specifically try the grilled meats. Oh my goodness, so glad we came back as the kebabs was Super Yummy and priced reasonably. The shish kebab was tender and juicy. The Chicken kebab, although it was not a dark meat (we prefer chicken thigh) was also very good. The Kefta , which reminded me of Luleh , except that it's a combination of beef & lamb meat ) was really good too. All the 3 meats we tried, with their seasoning were flavourful . The baba ghannouj is very good too! We are used to Armenian kebabs places in Los Angeles. This place will be our favorite in DFW area. They only have counter seats, only 4 or 5 stools, so this is really primarily a take out counter. We sat there and chatted with the people working there. All of them were very nice and seem really happy to work there. We will definitely be back. read more

I had the Famous Dubai Chocolate today, and it tasted phenomenal!! It was worth every penny!! I bought 15 bars for my children's teachers. They were obsessed and thankful. I visited this market for the purpose of buying farina, but left with more items than I originally though. Typical me with window shopping, but I explored the market a little bit and found a bakery + additional items there. I grabbed some pita bread since it's fresh and looked like better quality (and cheaper) then what I'd expect at a traditional super market. I really wanted to try the tarts that they had, but I did grab a Parisian Flan. First time having it and there is a clear difference between this and the Flan I've had before. It had a thicker crust (almost like shortbread or a thinner pie crust). The custard was light and the char on the flan was perfect. read more

Their pita bread is always fresh. The store is very clean, and the staff is very helpful, especially if you look lost or confused. The staff will patiently answer your questions about their items.
