Always enjoy Trader Joe's shopping. Prices are good and you have exclusive items only they carry. We had to get some more pineapple salsa as the only down part of Joe are some items once gone are gone. They still give samples, have great floral and wine selection. Service is the best with every line usually open with a friendly cashier

Excellent Trader Joe's spot. There was ample parking for this. There was a wide array of of grocery food to choose from. Small tip is that the Kung pow chicken goes quickly our on the Sundays. The ambience is great, classic Trader Joe's friendly vibes. The service is excellent too. The staff helped me find the food and carry-on carts. Abby who worked the cashier was exemplary, and made me feel welcome!

Stopped by late at night for a quick grocery run. They had a ton of items on sale, and the produce is super fresh! I was surprised by how cheap some of the wine bottles were too. Cashiers were very friendly even though they were closing soon. The aisles are organized, and the labels and decor elevate the experience! Plenty of parking in the nearby lots too.

Does it have all the amazing and quirky groceries TJ's? Yes. Friendly staff? Yes. But above all else THIS Trader Joe's has aviation history adórned it's beautiful bathroom. Yes, just ONE specific bathroom out of 3 it has. Why? I don't know. Specifically Addison aviation. Love it.

I don't really write reviews for grocery stores but I feel like this is long due. I moved to Dallas a lil over a year ago and I've been coming here for a while. I would say I know pretty much everyone and they always have a great attitude and are super welcoming. Robert is the goofiest one for sure. So just wanted to take some time to thank you guys for helping us out all the time and keep up the good work. See y'all soon :)

TJ's is my favorite grocery store to shop at! I feel in love with Trader Joe's when I lived in California and now that's it's here in Dallas, I just can't get enough of it! Customer service and double bagging is their things! Everything is perfectly priced, cleaned, and cared for! I love their plant/flower selection! So many beautiful arrangements to pick from! Hungry? You can grab and go prepared salads, snacks, soups, veggies, and hummus trays! In the mode for breakfast burritos, grab your flavor or wrap and enjoy! TJ's has its own brand of products which are better than some name brand products! Cool dog treats for your pets! Love their popcorn and fan of the wine and beer section. So many things to pick from ...try not to come hungry! Your cart will be filled to the top! Yum yum or shall I say n nom! Enjoy!

There was an NPR story on the radio today about Trader Joe's, so my hubby and I decided to take a little field trip to not only remind ourselves why we like the store, but to focus on the details brought up on NPR today. Did you know that there is no loyalty or rewards program at Trader Joe's? They don't really do any marketing either. You know, it's nice not having your every purchase tracked with your email and cell phone. The stores are located in small strip centers that don't cost a lot; usually these are in up and coming neighborhoods. This is good for consumers because savings from real estate overhead are passed onto customers. Hello Two Buck Chuck! They don't have as many product choices as most grocery stores. For instance, you aren't going to find 20 varieties of mustard here, but they do offer unique products. Also, some of the same products you find at other grocery stores are actually cheaper at Trader Joe's. We found this to be true tonight. My hubby has requested that we do our future shopping here because of the price savings. They target the over-educated, underpaid population (think artists and writers). Have you ever noticed that their product descriptions always include lots of wordy adjectives? Hey, adjectives are free! Employees are paid well and stock shelves during store hours (not late at night like other grocers). With so many staff around, you are likely to always find someone to assist you. Apparently they pride themselves on offering exceptional customer service. Building relationships is key to getting loyal, return customers. While we didn't find any chatty stock hands, the few we came across were polite. The checkout employees were much more engaged in conversation with us, and seemed genuinely happy to be working at Trader Joe's. I'm looking forward to exploring their unique, seasonal products on a regular basis and spending less cash in the process. Sayonara Central Market, we're tapping Trader Joe's for now on.

3-2023 - Always pick up 2 of these. Add some grilled chicken it's So good

3-23-2023 - I am used to the TJ's being so packed with lines at every register 4+ people deep. This location is bigger than my usual location. This night was super slow on a (Thursday night) and the store was fully stocked. Loved it! I have a few staples that I always pick up at TJ's. Highly recommend the Eggwich (breadless) breakfast sandwich, frozen linguini with pesto & tomatoes, green dragon hot sauce, EVOO huge bottle with a spout, frozen colorful carrot coins, frozen organic rainbow cauliflower to name a few. Check them out. They always have plants and flowers. Picked up some cute $2.99 succulents.

They provided useful tips for staying in town, what to see/where to go, and a few people even chimed in on where to avoid. I'm usually better at getting names so shame on me for that, but particularly helpful were the deli lady and the Starbucks girls, all of whom were working the morning of 12/26 at 10 am (hopefully that helps their bosses recognize them) The prices seemed good but admittedly I was in vacation mode (where money doesn't matter until you come home) and the service was top notch, but do yourself a favor and stay out of the men's room!! All three consistently have terrible attitudes. They either seem to hate their jobs, dislike dealing with customers, or both. I dread coming here knowing there's a good chance I'll have to interact with one of them, but unfortunately it's often unavoidable. In a time when good jobs can be difficult to find, you would think employees would put more effort into providing basic customer service. For the record, I am Black myself, so let's not turn this into a race issue. I only mentioned race because I don't know all of their names and wanted to identify the specific employees I'm referring to, not anyone else who may work there. These employees are consistently unpleasant and would probably be better suited for positions that involve less direct customer interaction, such as produce, stocking, or the meat department. Their attitudes make what should be a simple shopping trip far more frustrating than it needs to be.

The staff here is a little annoying at times, since they're doing a "donate to a local student scholarship drive", and the cashiers guilt-trip you (and they're fairly persistent) into donating. And when you do contribute, they broadcast it throughout the store. I get it's for a good cause, and I hate to be "that guy", but it is a little irritating after a while. On the plus side, the self-checkout attendants are usually fairly helpful and attentive, so that's good. The last time I wanted to check out, all of the registers were closed, so the self-checkout line was over a dozen people/carts long (thankfully two rows of self-checkout made the line dwindle fairly quickly). Another two lanes of self-checkout were opened at the other end of the store, but there were at least 3-4 attendants at the self-checkout lanes, so I'm curious as to why nobody was manning the actual registers. Finally, as I was leaving, two of the staff were having a casual non-work conversation, blocking the exit, so I asked them politely to move for my cart. They did so, but muttered under their breath for me to use the other exit. It was rather rude, since not only is that not appropriate customer service, but my car was parked at the other end of the parking lot, and the exit was right in front of me, which they were blocking. Overall, Krogers itself is great. You can probably find whatever you're looking for there, even if it might not be food, and for reasonable prices. But the staff and service don't always make your shopping experience a positive one.

I need to talk about Central Market on Lovers Lane and I need to talk about BP and I need to talk…read moreabout the produce section and I only have so many words so let's move. The produce section first because if I do not address it immediately I will think about it the whole time. Walking into the Central Market produce section is the closest a grocery store has ever come to making me feel like a child at Disney World. Not Disney World adjacent. Not Disney World inspired. Full Disney World. There are colors happening in that produce section that I did not know vegetables were capable of. Heirloom tomatoes in seventeen shades. Peppers that look like they were designed by an artist who was told to make a pepper but make it fashion. Mushrooms with names I cannot pronounce displayed like they are artifacts from a civilization that understood fungi better than we do. I have walked in there for one specific item and come out forty minutes later with things I have never cooked before and a quiet optimism about my future in the kitchen that has not always proven accurate but always feels real in the moment. I went once just for garlic. One head of garlic. I left with dragon fruit, three kinds of fresh pasta, a bunch of herbs that required me to look up two of them when I got home, and a wheel of cheese that I told myself was practical. It was not practical. I regret nothing. Now BP. BP runs the prepared foods counter at Central Market Lovers Lane and is the reason I sometimes drive there when I am not even hungry. BP was a high school math teacher in California for years. Years. Shaping young minds, writing equations on whiteboards, presumably grading papers on weekends with the quiet resignation of someone who has chosen a noble and exhausting profession. And then at some point BP looked at California, looked at Dallas, made a decision, and moved. He did most of the moving himself. I want you to think about that. This man, who spent years teaching mathematics, looked at a truck full of his belongings and said I will handle this personally. The kind of move that requires a certain stubbornness and also a pretty solid understanding of spatial reasoning which, given the math background, he had covered. BP is now behind the prepared foods counter at Central Market and is genuinely one of the warmest humans I have encountered on either side of a deli case. He talks to you like he has time, which in a prepared foods counter context is unusual and should be protected at all costs. He knows what is good that day. He will tell you. You should listen. Excellent store. Exceptional produce section. BP is the best part of the prepared foods counter and possibly of Lovers Lane entirely.

I stopped in to grab a few bunches so I could build my partner a custom bouquet at home -- roses, winter peonies, and lilies that were all fresh, full, and priced better than anywhere else around here. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. The lady at the register saw the flowers and asked what I was making. When I told her I was building a bouquet myself for my partner, she lit up and said, "That's how you do it." Little moments like that just make the experience feel personal. Trader Joe's employees always bring good energy, and it shows. I took everything home, trimmed the stems, mixed the colors, and built the bouquet with my own hands. The roses brought the romance, the winter peonies added that soft winter elegance, and the lilies tied the whole thing together like a final touch only she would notice. While I was there I also grabbed steaks to cook her dinner later that night. Between the flowers and the meal, Trader Joe's basically gave me everything I needed to make the whole evening special without running all over town. When I handed her the bouquet and then served dinner, the look on her face made the effort worth it. Trader Joe's helped me turn a simple idea into a real moment -- thoughtful, genuine, and meaningful. Five stars for fresh florals, quality steaks, and customer service that actually makes you feel seen. This is why our local store stays our favorite.
