The best Mexican food in Helena and I've tried them all. Their staff is very courteous and attentive. The food is always piping hot very flavorful and a lot to eat for the price. Watch out for the margaritas they pack a punch. The building lacks ambiance but the food make up for that. read more

I've never had worse service in Helena. Waited close to ten minutes just be seated. Waiter was not friendly and kept saying he's "just trying to get caught up". Got our drinks in after 15 minutes. Took our order after another 15. Total wait time was a little over an hour to get food. It had obviously been sitting because by the time we got food, it was cold. We didn't get checked up on once and had to flag down a different waitress for a box, refills, and the check. Food was mediocre at best and service was horrible. Don't understand how this place won an award. Very disappointing. read more

Foreign foods are my favorite and this was my first time here. As a fine dining service industry employee for multiple years, I'm picky about service so understand that I'm pretty critical. My server was pleasant. She recommended the carne asada burrito and it was pretty good. I wasn't disappointed in the size or flavor. Not mind blowing, but good. My only down side was the standard service requirements such as refilled water and checking in. Maybe she didn't ask because I was busy stuffing my face. Its all good. Not impressed. No drink order offered by staff. No napkins or silverware on the table. Ordered chicken enchilada and chimichanga combo. Chimichanga was beef. My kid wanted ketchup for him fries. In Helena, this is the best Mexican food I've had. Fresh salsa, fresh ingredients. Had shrimp enchiladas - very flavorful/fresh. Very large menu, large plates of dinner. I'm absolutely hooked on the cabbage salsa. Reading some of the other reviews I was a bit confused at "small portions" since my dinner came out plated on something I might serve Turkey with at Thanksgiving. read more

From the time we got seated until the time we ordered it took 30 mins. From the time we ordered until the time the food came took over an hour. We had to go to the casino to get drinks. The waitress hit all the small tables before coming to our table which had 4 hungry kids and 4 adults. The service was horrible! The food wasn't good either.. Just moved to Helena from a much smaller town and really wanted a good Mexican restaurant. Came across Fiesta Mexicana and by golly, were we amazed at the menu selections along with some great prices. Not only that, but when we got our plates of food they were enormous. I don't usually post this bad a review but this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. First I asked what beers they had on tap, the server said Coors Light, after some probing ( they have a full bar ) she said there were more but didn't know what they were. I had to ask her to go check. I finally ordered a Hef that she couldn't even pronounce. She brought out chips and salsa which were ok, the salsa was sweet, not my taste but it was ok. I had to ask for napkins. I ordered Chili Colorado, comes with corn or flour tortillas, rice and beans (I order it with no beans, all rice). I've ordered this so many times around the country, it's one of my favorites. She brings out my order and it is a burrito with beans as well. I tell her that's not what I ordered, it's not Chili Colorado. She takes it back and brings out the same thing but with out the beans. I tell her again I did not order a burrito, I ordered Chili Colorado. I have her bring me a menu to show her what it's supposed to come with. I also describe what it should be, a plate with beef in Colorado sauce and separate tortillas to build it my self. She takes it back and a few minutes later she brings out the same burrito but has some beef and sauce on top of the burrito. My look of disgust was obvious, I just took it as I was starving and just wanted some food but she said she would give me a discount. The now soggy burrito was mediocre at best and I only ate part of it. The bill comes and the discount for being forced to eat something I didn't order was 10% or $1.30. Not how to take care of a customer. It's the last time I will be in this place. read more

Food was excellent, I thought the meats were seasoned very well, and the rice and beans were much better than similar restaurants. The one issue I had was the wait time, I went on my lunch hour and was a little late getting back. It was very apparent it was a new restaurant by the total confusion and lack of organization amongst the staff. That being said, I recognize they are new and probably need to work a few kinks out as well as just get the hang of things. I will definitely go back, just maybe not when I'm in a hurry, until they've been open a while longer. read more

Six adults ate at this restaurant yesterday and all of us had a different item. Every one of us thought the food was excellent. The prices were also very good. This is a great place to have a good Mexican meal. I have eaten in most of the other Mexican places in town, also all over the country, and find this the best in Helena. I will definitely go back. Everyone had been talking about how great this place was but when we went there I was horribly disappointed. It was the most bland, watery Mexican food I've ever had. The salsa was watery and tasteless, I had to put a little salt on each chip to add some sort of flavor, but I thought maybe it was just a bad day for salsa. Sadly, the rest of the meal was exactly the same and overpriced. Definitely not going back there. read more

The food was really good especially the tamales service was excellent. The only down fall was the wait for the food which was pretty long. The upside is that I am allergic to some peppers and the waitress made sure to bring me salsa without peppers. read more

Our dinner was delicious! Simple decor, friendly staff but WOW the food is great! We had shredded beef tacos and a shredded chicken burrito. The burrito was huge, enough for 2 smaller appetites to share. The tacos were a healthy portion as well, just right. Would definitely recommend. read more
