First off, Moab is beautiful and full of amazing scenery to enjoy; however, I think the first person to smile at me the whole while that we stayed in the area (two nights and two days) was our lovely server. Utah in general isn't particularly friendly I feel, but the staff here is. The restaurant is aptly named then, and we were promptly sat and asked what we'd like to drink. I ordered two waters and two house margs, which seemed to be amusing for our server. We'd just done a 3 hour hike bounding over a creek every few minutes and we were parched! The menu has all the delicious classics of a Mexican restaurant and we selected the chicken enchiladas and the shrimp fajita. The food was positively restorative and I wolfed mine down within minutes of getting it. My partner wanted shots of tequila all of a sudden and then we learned something funny: the staff has to take your margarita away before they can serve you a shot of tequila, them be the rules!? Prompt service. good margaritas. had the carnitas enchiladas and the pork didn't seem to be cooked in any sauce and was crunchy in an old way. the place is decorated really cute but there was food stuck in between the glass and the table which was kinda gross. for the price i felt like the portions were lacking but it was enough to satisfy me. read more

Don't understand all the negative reviews, this place is FANTASTIC. We went for my birthday since there were a large selection of vegetarian food on the menu, and we were pleased with the food and service. I got the vegetarian fajitas, and the veggies were perfectly charred and the texture was great. My husband got the combo with a beef taco, chili relleno, and chimichanga, which he inhaled. Overpriced Mexican food!! Sides of anything over overpriced. $3.99 for a side of rice?! Thankfully me and my bf wanted to share fajitas which were $18.99. We asked for extra chips which were 99¢ but they tried to charge us $4.99. I guess they were running out of bell peppers because there was no red bell peppers and only six slices of green bell peppers. The food wasn't anything social. I tried this place out while going thru town. Yes the prices are a little high, but what do you expect in a tourist town!?! My food was delicious! The rice was jasmine rice and the flavor was so good. I had the Carne Asada burrito and forgot to take the picture before cutting into it (I was starving) Give them a try, as my little one says "you can't say you don't like it if you haven't tried it!" Got here around 5:30 and we were promptly seated, opted to sit outside, it was a little loud from the road traffic but obviously there's nothing that can be done about that. There were 6 of us and we each ordered a margarita. All were good except two came frozen instead of on the rocks as requested. Free chips and salsa. The salsa was a little spicy for me, but that's just personal preference. We had the fish tacos, carne asada tacos, chicken fajitas and we ordered the seafood tostada but they brought out something with chicken instead which they kindly corrected. We also ordered queso and had to ask for it a few times before we got it. The queso was also yellow queso and not white, which could've been our mistake for not reading the menu, but not our preference. The carne asada tacos were okay. The fish tacos were chopped up pieces of fish, not a grilled piece, and had a very sweet flavor. The tacos as well as the rice were both dripping with oil/grease, which I wasn't a fan of. Overall, this wasn't bad mexican but I've grown up on some pretty delicious tex mex, and this just wasn't one of my favorites. The staff were all very kind but the language barrier was apparent after getting 3 wrong items. This place does serve margaritas unlike some of the other Mexican restaurants in town which is why we picked it. read more

Really great place to go while in Moab Utah. Went with a few of my family members and we all got different things and everyone liked their food. I am on keto right now so I opted for a taco salad with ground beef and didn't eat the shell. The salad was good and they gave you tons of meat so it was very filling. I wouldn't say it was the best taco salad I have ever had but I would go here again for sure. The Staff was AMAZING. So kind and checked on us often. Upon entering, the entire staff spoke Spanish, which made me feel reassured that I chose the right place. I ordered my food and made a simple request, no garish (lettuce) she nodded and I assumed everything was all good. Once my food came, I realized that she didn't listen to me at all. My plate had lettuce on top of my chile rellaño which I asked them not to do. I realize this is trivial, but it's a simple request to tell the kitchen. (I hate lettuce on hot food. Pick it off you say? Well if they wouldn't put it in there in the first place, I wouldn't have to pick it off). The food itself though was delicious as hell. Great Moab restaurant! It was a VERY busy Thursday night, but they got us a table in less than 15 minutes in the heat of the 7pm rush. The front desk staff was so busy with take out orders, walk ins, and phone calls, but they were very kind and welcoming. Service was friendly and our food came out very fast. This food hit every taste bud, especially after hiking all day. We were seated immediately, there was plenty of staff therefore our drinks , chips and salsa (which was spicy) and order were taken quickly. Ordered the margarita which was 18oz with fresh squeezed limes and 100% blue agave. I got two of them !!! The burrito Mexicano was big portion size to satisfy anyone's craving. Awful experience, food was mediocre at best but the worse thing is how they treat large parties when it comes to paying! Even though their sign says "parties of larger than 8 up to 4 checks maximum", they refused to do their job and provide us 4 check, it became our "problem" since they automatically added gratuity for terrible service! Great food, and even better margaritas! The restaurant is warm, inviting and clean. The staff is always very attentive. Their vegetarian options are pretty good as well as their prices. Tip: make sure you check what time they close if you're eating late in the day. We called at 7:30 to make sure they would be open and were told they close at 8:00. Based on a wonderful recommendation from our hotel people we decided to try this for our first dinner in Moab. We have been traveling and Mexican food sounded good. Well, it was pretty bad! The service was nice and very friendly but the food was just mediocre at best. The fajita meat had no flavor or seasoning at all and it had fat in the meat. and the rice was orange and dry..inedible to me. The beans were tasteless. Hubby had the tacos al carbon which are his favorite and the meat tasted funny. On the plus side the margaritas were very good! We loved this restaurant. Perfect to accommodate a bigger group. Our food was delicious with generous portions. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. He kept our drinks and chips full and was fast to help us clean up a spilled drink. I had the beef fajitas with a house margarita. Tip: house margaritas are on special on Friday nights!! So bland that I can't believe they don't have an assortment of condiments on the table to actually give the food flavor.
