One thing I loved about this spot was the misters set up around the seating area--they made a huge difference and kept us cool on a very hot day. We ordered six street tacos: two shrimp, two asada, one adobada, and one barbacoa, which came to about $27. The food was served quickly, and overall the tacos had a nice spice level and good flavor. They were a bit on the salty side, but still enjoyable. One thing I found unusual was that they didn't double up the tortillas like many taco places do, which made them slightly more fragile. The Moab Food Truck Park is just awesome! With all the food options available in this great town, the food park is a fun alternative to try new tastes! Being a taco addict, this place was a no brainer. The word around the park is $3 street tacos...duh. The service was gracious both time we went and enjoyable. We had the Carne Asada and Pork street tacos, 3 a piece for $3 a piece. They come with the protein and onions and cilantro. We added pico sides and a chips and salsa side. You have to get both salsa's, medium red and hot green. The hot sauce is legit, so much depth and flavor but will light you up for an extended period! I recently visited the taco truck located in the Food Truck Park in Moab, and it was a fantastic experience. We tried the barbacoa quesadilla, and it was absolutely delicious. I found Tacos El Gordo at the Moab Food Truck park. I ordered some chicken tacos, which were absolutely amazing, with tons of cilantro. yummm! When they were ready, I was offered both a spicy and regular sauce, of which the spicier sauce was my favorite. Super tasty, and reminded me of tacos I enjoyed when I lived in Denver. The owner is super friendly, and since we visited twice on our last visit, he even remembered my dog's name! Definitely get some food here...you won't be disappointed! read more

Tacos El Gordo is a small taco truck located in the food truck court off Main Street. The staff were nice and the food didn't take very long to come out. However, I had high hopes for delicious street tacos and in short, I can describe the food as "meh". I ordered three pollo asado tacos and the meat was pretty bland. The sauce that came with the food wasn't spicy and didn't enhance the food much either. Having lived in Texas I consider myself a taco snob. Those fancy tacos you find at all those strip mall taco joints just don't get it. A taco, a real taco has only three ingredients a protein, cilantro, and onion and these are as good as it gets. Their shrimp taco is the best I've ever had albeit they do fancy it up a bit. Located in a big dirt parking lot it's not fancy at all but it's absolutely delicious. Well done! read more

Let me say first this is a taco truck, so I had high expectations for good street style tacos. This place did not disappoint. Gentleman that took my order was super polite, not to familiar with the credit card machine but that did not matter. I asked for my tacos with no cilantro. When picking up my order It had cilantro, the gentleman made me new tacos however he gave me all carne asada, after one bite I did not care as it was really good, so I was going to eat them regardless. Next thing I knew he was bringing me out additional tacos (the correct ones) at no charge. Great experience and the food was really awesome. I will be going back a few more times during my week here in Moab. read more

Located in the Moab food truck park, I think this might've been the best tasting meal I had. I just wanted a light lunch so got a carne asada taco and a spicy pork taco. Tacos are $3 each, so they aren't cheap but also won't break the bank. I think for a normal sized meal, it would be good to eat three. The carne asada was a little tough and dry and flavorless until I added the salsa. Tried both the green and red salsa and they were good, one was supposed to be spicier than the other but I couldn't really tell. The spicy pork was delicious and I would order just that one again. The pork was full of flavor and fresh and juicy. I only wish they could've put some pineapple slices on top. If you're looking for a quick lunch and not spend too much money, the spicy pork tacos are solid. read more

Hands down best tacos I've ever gotten from a food truck. For $3/taco, I got 3 and was perfectly full. We ordered a Smothered burrito with carne asada & "everything" (beans, rice, pico) and 2 Carne asada tacos and 2 spicy pork tacos They were the busiest truck in the park so the wait was a bit long. The burrito was ok. Kind of small for a $12 burrito. The "pico de gallo" on the burrito was a pile of lettuce, a huge slice of tomato, and avocado slices. Pretty strange. The tacos were not bad. My wife decided to poured salsa all over the tacos before tasting it. It was so unreasonably spicy that it nearly ruined the tacos! We had to take the tacos home so she could have some milk with them. We are no strangers to spice but this was stupid hot. Overall, we mostly enjoyed our dinners and wouldn't mind coming back. read more

Less for more but tasty. We like authentic and we like food trucks. We've frequented many across the US. So when we saw this place, we immediately wanted to try it out. I noticed their tacos are slightly more expensive than most (just a quarter or so each). They don't do the typical double tortilla with the mini tortillas. Instead they give you one standard size tortilla which is plenty since the also give you a little less meat. I asked for more salsa but was told they'd have to charge me. So while I was waiting on my order wondering if this rocky start was going to be worth it, I noticed that it took a little longer too, but because it's fresh. We liked them very much and went back for more. Meat was good. Salsa was good. Limes were fresh and juicy. Came with one radish slice per taco and one cucumber slice per taco. I would have liked a little more cilantro, but overall, it was good. I've mentioned the things we notice when buying street tacos. Try em' out. read more

Poor Costumer Service. I ordered 3 tacos and the guy gave me two small not even 1/2 full . I ask for 1 more and the owner got mad at me for asking 1 more salsa and was charging me 1 dollar for it. We are closed for the 2020 season, see you all in March of 2021, stay safe! We opened up our first food truck in Vernal, Utah in 2008, then expanding into a Taqueria also in Vernal, Utah. You can see all of our reviews and photos are mainly from this location. In 2017, we closed our doors in Vernal, Utah, because we wanted to move a little closer to home (Colorado). Today we have a food truck in Moab, Utah and a restaurant in Montrose, Colorado which we just opened June of 2020. Our authentic Mexican food is what has kept us in the food business for many years. We ordered a Turkey Gouda Sandwich and Chips. I enjoyed the variety of flavors and textures in the samdwich - highly recommend. And the chips were like kettle chips so they accompanied the sandwich perfectly. We'll definitely be back when in town next!

I had the Reuben sandwich, which was both a tasty and hefty sandwich. Their hand cut fries were also great. We got a dessert to go, the Candy Bar Brownie Sundae, and it was marginal. Overall, we enjoyed the visit and the food.

There are 2 dining areas inside - head over to the hostess stand and get your name added to the list on their automated system. You will be texted when your seat is ready and you can watch your status as you wait thru the url texted to you when you first check in. I loved knowing where we were in line at any time - very efficient. We were seated in 6 minutes and our server greeted us shortly after. We ordered regular coffee, the Cinnamon Roll (it's huge) and the Waffle meal which included eggs and bacon and we added fruit. The coffees came right away followed by the cinnamon roll. We had a few minutes to enjoy that when our breakfast arrived. Everything tasted great! The cinnamon roll did not have frosting on it but that was okay because there was a lot of cinnamon sugar in its layers. The waffles are not real Belgian but they were fresh, light, and fluffy. The bacon is super thick - very tasty. The restaurant decor looks fairly recent and the vibe is casual and laid back. Come as you are and enjoy a great breakfast!

I liked the bacon most out of everything because it felt like it was the only freshly made item. The vibe is nice and the decor is cool. We also got a hot mocha with the breakfast which was great! I would not go there for a full breakfast. Maybe just coffee and a snack for me.
