Wow! Absolutely loved this place! A few menu choices that rotate from what it sounded like each week. The ambience outside the food truck is cute. 1. It is pay what you can but they have suggested prices listed. Also it is CASH or VENMO only if you are going to bring money, bring one of those options. 2. 100% vegan food YAY! they also had gluten free options 3. the staff was friendly, cheerful and knowledgable. They genuinely seemed happy to be there. 4. Its a little tucked away and you feel like you might be headed the right direction. If that is you, well then you are headed to the right place. I'm vegetarian, but prefer to eat vegan, so I was so happy to find this place in Moab before going into the national park. I asked if they were able to make something I saw on Yelp (a chard or collard wrap/taco) because I wanted something light before hiking and they had a very limited menu--The young lady working immediately went over to the nearby garden to pick veggies for it. She asked the young man in the food truck to make it for me and he was more than happy to. The kindness that flows throughout this place is beautiful. To add, the environment is so cute and relaxing. The plant-based food is fresh and delicious, and is garden to table (literally). While the suggested prices seemed a little high for the amount of food you get (we are from Ohio where everything is super cheap lol), it is donation style. Basically, you pay what you wish to do. I paid the suggested price because they were incredibly sweet and clearly work hard to provide fresh veggies to their customers! I hope to go back soon. Great experience. read more

We tried several items on the menu because we couldn't choose between them. They were all great. This was a great find in Moab. The menu at the time of my visit was Sri Lankan / Indian and the menu was purely Vegan , so worked out great for me. I had the following Waadeh Tacos- Tacos with Fried Lentil Balls, Daal - Curried Yellow Lentils with Coconut roti Samosa - Fritter filled with potatoes and veggies Plate - Consisted of Chile Potatoes, Cabbage, Daal, Eggplant, Jackfruit and rice. Ate it later for dinner after a hike. Nice Cream sandwich - This is was 1 of the best Vegan desserts I had ever had. Consisted of Banana icecream and biscuits made of nuts I guess. Everything tasted great, and I wouldn't believe it was cooked by someone who was not ethnically from the Indian Sub-continent. Donation based. They had a menu written out in front of the truck and you can leave money in the jar or venmo in whatever amount you want. I parked on a side road in front of neighboring businesses. I saw a sign for Moab Kitchen and walked that path and saw a food truck situated in a large outdoor space behind a building. Walking towards the truck, I saw an outdoor living space to my left. A covered lounging area, if you will.. didn't pay much attention to the right side. Kept walking towards the truck where there were maybe 3 picnic tables.. The food was ok. I finally got to try Chef Christina's vegan food that everyone raves about. Wow, I was not disappointed! I ordered nachos, jackfruit tacos, and a smoothie. The nacho "cheese" was actually really good combined with the rest of the fixings. I have to be honest, never actually tried jackfruit as a meat alternative before this but I was pleasantly surprised with the smoky seasoned flavor, those tacos were awesome! Smoothie was a bit small but super refreshing in the Moab heat. You could tell that the food is made with LOVE! LOVED the food from this truck! There was a guest Sri Lankan chef when we went. I got the curry plate.. pumpkin curry, eggplant curry & dahl over rice. I love Moab Kitchen. It's hard to find quality vegan food in Moab. The ambiance is very relaxing. Their menu changes often, but you can usually find a current one on their IG page. They ask people to pay what they can for their meal which is awesome. If you do pay full price though, it's pretty expensive. They're only open 3 or 4 days a week and at different times, so check that they're open before you go. Dog friendly spot too! They even have a little water bowl for pups to use. read more

I was so surprised to stumble upon this quaint food truck next to a re purposed mechanic shop, which now serves as a creative hang out space for this small community. The food was absolutely amazing! If you are plant based or not, this is a must stop in Moab. My fiend and I both had the 5 curry plate with coconut roti and we were not disappointed. Each curry was full of flavor and wonderful to enjoy. I would recommend getting this dish because you get to try all of the curries: Eggplant, Cabbage, Dal, Jackfruit, and "Chicken". The eggplant curry was a favorite of ours. The roti was also freshly made, warm, and slightly sweet, enough to finish off a great meal. The two owners (one owns the food truck and one owns the mechanic shop) were a delight! They are heartwarming people who love to chat with those who stop by. We stayed and talked with them for an hour after closing, enjoying each others company. They truly make the experience. Please give this place a try! Go there if in Moab. As someone who eats meat I can say this place is amazing!!! Don't let the vegan thing scare you. I ate my way from St. Louis to LA and this was my best meal. Loved the food! Their menu changes and they have limited menu but everything we had was really good. It's hard to impress an Indian with Indian food and I can say that this place did a good job with khichadi (I know menu says khichari) I also had their Buddha bowl and that was great. Only reason I did not give 5 starts is because , quantity of Khichadi and Buddha bowl was less compared to price of about 15$ each but I would still go here next time I am in Moab because it's the closest to home food I can get :) read more

A bit off Main Street, it was so worth the little adventure to find this place and have a good meal. It may not be for the staunch meat lover, but if you love Indian food and flavors then you shouldn't miss this place. We grabbed the 5 curry plate so we could try them all, and it was an excursion in flavor and texture. Each curry stood out as different and yet they were all good. The coconut roti was a great addition to our plate as well. Also, the plate was more than enough for two to share. I'm usually all about the food, but the atmosphere here was also wonderful. It's tucked back in a little grove of cottonwood trees. Funk music played in the background. The seating in the large auto garage was charming and clean. Driving cross country we had a pretty hard time finding vegan food in Utah or really any fresh, healthy food for that matter...then we arrived here! Delicious Sri Lankan vegan food and the prices are super affordable. We especially loved the eggplant curry and lentil falafels but everything our group ordered was delicious. An added bonus was the venue. It's a food truck stationed in a Portland esq parking lot with open air but covered barn type eating area that isn't hipster but authentically old with the best vibes possible. Loved the queer pride and all around good energy. The town of Moab was a gem of a trip and finding authentic Sri Lankan eggplant curry that brought me back to my childhood was even more divine. Second, she does not answer 'Moab Kitchen' or anything else which might lead one to believe it's a business line. Third, she did not bother to post anywhere (and news flash, honey: faceplant is not a suitable business site. Many of us, including yours truly ,refuse to touch anything related to the toxic Zuckerfuck. ) that she was taking the entire July Fourth weekend off--including Monday.
