My leftovers were truly another full meal (sorry for the sloppy presentation, it was just as delicious the next day)

We've been coming to Fiesta Veracruz since we parked our camper at Pine Cove campground in 2024. We literally come every weekend during camping season. The service is always outstanding. You will have the freshest chips and yummy salsa on your table seconds after being seated. The guacamole is always fresh and delicious and everything entree we've tried has been fantastic. We especially love El Tapatio and often order that. Grilled chicken with chorizo sausage and cheese sauce - SO yummy! Our favorite thing is probably the frozen margaritas. The best we've had anywhere, by far. Excellent flavor and the perfect amount of alcohol. It's a big restaurant with a lot of seating, so even when it looks crowded (we've had to park a street away sometimes), the wait is never long. The decor is well done on the inside, but we especially love the patio which is enclosed from all sides. We absolutely love Fiesta Veracruz and can't wait to go back every week. Ole!

I was in Wilmington for a tour at the college and only had one day to explore. After our performance, we needed a place to eat after 9 PM, and Fiesta Veracruz was recommended by some of the students. The interior really lived up to the name--it was festive with lots of blue and brown tones, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The space was much larger than I expected, divided into three main areas. I was with a group of eight, and we had no trouble getting seated. Keep in mind, their kitchen stops serving the main menu after 10 PM, so plan accordingly. Our waitress was very helpful and sweet. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered tostadas from the menu. While it said they only came with ground beef, the waitress happily substituted steak for one of them at my request. I was curious about the ground beef, so I ended up getting one steak and one ground beef tostada, along with a side of fries and a strawberry kiwi margarita to drink. Before I get into the details, I'll mention that I'm from Chicago, where there's no shortage of excellent Mexican cuisine, so I might be a little biased. That said, the steak tostada was good, though I felt the shell could've been a bit thicker to better support the toppings. The fries were standard, and the margarita was delicious. If you're choosing between the steak and ground beef, I'd recommend the steak--it had better flavor in my opinion. Overall, I understand why Fiesta Veracruz is popular. It's probably one of the tastier spots in the area. If you're looking for some decent food in Wilmington, it's not a bad choice. For the area and a first-time experience, I'd give Fiesta Veracruz a 3 out of 5.

Another great visit! We came for an early dinner on a Saturday night and were not disappointed. My pollo jarocho was amazing, and I had to take home leftovers cause there was so much food! My boyfriend loved the el tapitio, and it definitely filled him up. We also got 22 oz strawberry margaritas for $8, and they were pretty good too! Can't wait to come back for more great service and good food!

We stopped in for beer and an appetizer. We ordered the beef and bean nachos with a side of guac and a side of queso. There was a short wait, but it was worth it. The place was super busy on a Thursday evening! The service was good. The food was really good. Sorry I remembered to take a photo of the nachos AFTER I had already pulled some onto a separate plate !

Traveling through and Celebrated our wedding anniversary of "Cinco de Mayo" Was hoping they had something special going on. I was disappointed, the only sign of it was on a t-shirt of the guy bussing tables. Place was relatively clean if understaffed. My fajita meal, came on two plates. One contained the rice, beans, pick de gallo and lettuce/sour cream either the fajita rolled in foil on the side. The other was a cast iron skillet that kept the meat/vegetables hot, However, by the second fajita the meat was over cooked and chewy. The waitress was busy and kept forgetting to get us , water, napkins Hot sauce . Also, I had no empty plate to assemble my fajita, and it was hot on my hand. Average restaurant. Average prices

Very good! Fresh, fast, friendly. Wearing masks. During a lengthy stay for work, ate here many times. The chicken chimichunga and grilled chicken nachos were very good. Any special requests were always filled as asked (for example double rice instead of beans, or pico, or no tomatoes).

    The menu

The seat is all scratched up, the salsa tastes like water, the only gave us one menu, the sprite taste like water the workers are nice, the food is good

Everytime I go, I always order the same thing, three carne asada tacos. Simple. Straight forward. Everytime, EVERY SINGLE TIME, my eyes roll back from the shear pleasure of eating something that tastes that good. My mouth is already watering, just thinking about their tacos. 10 outta 10. Worth the drive. Worth the effort. I'd take this taco truck above any sit down restaurant anywhere. The people, sweet. Great service. Great prices. FANTASTIC FOOD.

The best tacos come from from hole in the wall restaurants or food trucks, and usually they don't speak great English. I've traveled the US and always look for AUTHENTIC Mexican food to get a taste of "home". I've searched yelp and gone to every high rated Mexican restaurant of an hrs radius to my home here in Ohio. I have no idea how this place wasn't on my list! IVANS IS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! You read that right! Carne asada, lime, double tortillas, cilantro, onion, THE WORKS! You NEED to try the creamy avocado sauce, the meal wouldn't be the same without it! I am a huge fan of Ivan's and was already figuring out what Ohio local to send to get QUALITY Mexican food! Service was spectacular, presentation was beautiful, packaging was clean, and there is no doubt in my mind that this truck has a long line even in the rain. To the owner and cook of Ivan's, thank you for bringing culture to this bland valley. Hopefully the other locals will learn a thing or two from you. 10/10 recommend

The decor wasn't over the top and the music wasn't loud. I decided on the shrimp tacos with black beans and rice. Very tasty. The sauce on the side is way too spicy for me. I didn't need it. My wife ordered the Fiesta sampler appetizer, they were shredded chicken. The chicken could have been seasoned a little better but not bad. She said she thought the beef might have been a better choice for her. Chips and salsa were good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. This place was closer than our usual restaurant, will be back

Bowling Soup wrote a song about my life titled, "come back to Texas" with the infamous line- "come…read moreback to Texas, besides the Mexican food sucks north of here anyway." This is hilarious and not always true. We come to Ohio to visit my husbands family and okay- I'll admit I don't trust Mexican food in states that don't border the beautiful country of Mexico. But this was a delightful surprise. I ordered a steak quesadilla and could have done without the extra cheese sauce poured over it. But the flavor overall was good. Rice and beans were also flavorful. I would have like a salsa that had a bit more spice and bite to it. Throw some habaneros, Serranos and tomato's together. Please!!! My husband ordered enchiladas and said they were good. The staff was super friendly and attentive.
