The nail tech was not friendly and rushed through my service. When I pointed out that my thumbnail was not shaped evenly like the rest of my nails, she seemed irritated that I asked her to fix it twice. What bothered me the most was that she over-sanded my natural nails and damaged my nail bed/enamel. Three weeks later, my nails are still growing back thin and weak, and I ended up cutting all of them because of the damage. I also asked the owner to explain the manicure service and what it included. After reviewing it, I realized the nail tech skipped steps such as lotion and the hand massage. Even after the owner brought it to her attention, she still refused to complete the service properly. As someone who lives only two minutes away, I really wanted to support this business, but I no longer feel valued or respected as an African American customer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where professionalism, customer care, and respect are a priority.

The nail tech I had pulled out an old used file , and acted as if she didn't understand me when I asked for a new one . She was very polite and kind but it was very off putting the dirty instruments she insisted on using . My nail tech struggled with a French tip on my toes , I asked for them to be painted solid , the polish never cured and my toes look terrible . I'm so sad , it was a waste of money and time . And most definitely a safety concern , she put the file that she used on me back with all her instruments as she cleaned up .

TERRIBLE customer service!!! My sister drove 5 hours in…read moreSaturday morning to surprise my mother for Mother's Day. We had lunch and then decided to get pedicures. So we stopped by the first nail place we saw to see if they could do 4 pedicures. Keep in mind it's a holiday weekend and nail salons are booming with business. Well not this one. It was a ghost-town! (red flag #1).... But I thought I would give them a chance.... When I asked if they could do 4 pedicures, they looked at me like I had three heads. Couldn't tell me in plain English "yes" or "no". Kept pointing to a stupid iPad to sign in on. Just overall not how I want to be treated as a customer. Then 2 of the ladies working in there started talking crap and pointing at me. So I happily walked out and went down the street to a much better place who welcomed the 4 of us and showed they wanted our business. Also ol' dude that worked in the first place I walked out of, decided to chase after me, followed me to my car and started tapping on my window. Like definitely not!!! Will never step foot into Diamond Nail Spa (next to Domino's) EVER again!!! Way too many other great nail salons to spend your hard earned $$ at. Do yourself a favor and go to the nail salon next to Pizza Hut, NOT the one by Domino's My hope is that they read this and improve their service so that nobody has to go through such horrible treatment, especially on freaking Mother's Day!!!!
