We came all the way from Moreno Valley to OC Fight Shop and we are so glad we did! My cousin and husband absolutely loved it here, they found so many good things. Ethan, the customer service rep here was amazing! He was patient & very knowledgeable. On Monday I came to get boxing gloves, shoes, mouth guard, and jump rope. Dan was very kind & professional and instead of just trying to make a sale. he made sure I got the right equipment that would suit me. 2 days later (today) my boy wanted some boxing shoes and other equipment understood our situation that we were flying on vacation at 2am the next day and made sure we got what we needed without rushing us even though we were shopping past operation hrs.

Superb fighting supply shop in the Southern California area. They have multiple locations and I came by the Costa Mesa shop to get a pair of lace up boxing gloves for novice sparring at the boxing gym I go to. I was helped by Dan, who's greatly knowledgeable of all things fight gear and he made great recommendations. He was super helpful and answered all of my questions and let me test out multiple pairs of gloves before I made a decision on which ones to buy. The shop itself is super clean, organized and fully stocked with high quality brands and products. Big shoutout to Fight Shop for top-tier customer service. I came in looking for the all-black Nike HyperKO2s in a size 13, and even though they didn't have them in stock, Dan went out of his way--making calls and sending texts--to have them ready for me the very next day. He even hooked it up with half off some hand wraps. I've been coming here for a while, and they've always taken care of me. This place is LEGIT. I've been going to fight shops over a decade and this is the cleanest/biggest selection of equipment I've seen somewhere. A year ago, when my son first got into boxing, we went to the Costa Mesa location and didn't have the best experience. I honestly swore we wouldn't be back. Fast-forward to this year: we walked into the Whittier store and met Mary, who helped us pick out sparring gear. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made both me and my son feel completely taken care of. I left thinking, "Okay...maybe we will be back." Then, last week, all of my son's gear was stolen. We returned to Whittier, and Dan helped us. He was incredibly kind and on top of everything--juggling multiple customers without missing a beat. When I mentioned our earlier experience from a year ago, he went above and beyond to make it right and gave us such a great deal. I was in the area and have been wanting to get my hands on a second pair of gloves purely to go ham on the bag with. Not a lot of sporting goods stores have a selection like fight shop does and on top of that the opportunity to actually hit a bag. Ethan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am not one to ever write bad reviews. However, this shop marks up their prices more than any place I have ever been to and I felt the need to warn future customers. Initially, was really excited about going to this shop to support a local business. Bought the Nike Machomai 3 shoes but quickly realized after purchasing them that they were sold to me for $99 dollars more than if I were to buy directly from the retailer. I understand a slight mark up in price, but $99 is very steep. I could have bought two pairs of shoes for the price of one. The shop would not grant me a refund in exchange for my money or honor the retailers price. Other customers need to be aware of the outrageous mark up in price before buying anything from this store. I am all for supporting local businesses but this business is not valuing their customers and treating them unfairly. They lost at least one loyal customer and likely many more due to their greedy business practices. read more

100% recommend Fight Shop Costa Mesa, They have the best costumer service in OC. After ripping my bear I got that day they offered me a new unfilled bear to transfer fabric and went to the extent to reinforce it so I didn't rip again, within days I had the new bear and works great with no rips! Whoever the guy was with dirty brown hair and a pony tail should take a lesson on taking care of your customers, especially with all the different ways people can buy things online. Went on Amazon lo and behold the same gloves under 30 dollars. Shipped and delivered by days end. Just sad.
