The employee was cheerful and happy to serve. This is a Mom & Pop establishment, so this is their only location. It was worth a 25 minute drive for me, maybe it will be for you, too. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating a relaxed, hometown atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fresh peach we bought was absolutely incredible--perfectly ripe, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference that comes from fresh, locally grown fruit. We also treated ourselves to a cherry sundae, which was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. The real surprise, though, was the apple cider donuts. We bought half a dozen thinking they'd last a while, but they disappeared much faster than expected! They were soft, fresh, perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar, and easily some of the best donuts we've had. If you're driving through Alpine or exploring Utah County, Burgess Orchards is definitely worth a stop. Whether you're looking for fresh fruit, homemade treats, or just a fun local experience, this place delivers. They were kind enough to give me a little cup on the side. The peaches beginning of September were good although not super sweet. Be prepared to wait a little bit since there's usually a decent crowd. I love that they have a nice little patch of grass to relax on while you enjoy your sweet treat! In contrast, the Draper location has consistently been a much better experience and appears to be managed far more efficiently. I'm glad they've expanded into American Fork, and the food certainly makes the restaurant worth visiting.
