Great service, very friendly when ordering at the front. On a Friday after Christmas waited just a little for my pastry and longer than I expected for my coffee, however, everything was delicious. I said "eating in" and they still brought my pastry in a to go plastic container, which to me is a bummer since I find that a bit wasteful. The coffee came in a reusable mug so not sure why the pastry wasn't on a plate. ambiance was nice, open room, quite a few people but wasn't too loud to talk with my friend and catch up.

This is a lovely and huge cafe connected to the Farm 12 restaurant. On a weekend morning it gets packed with the line snaking out the door. The location is very nicely situated in a little rustic oasis, across the street from Foothills Trail and next to a field of lupine that bloom into a purple blanket during spring. The cafe has a beautiful case of pastries. The morning o went they had cookies, cakes, scones, croissants, morning buns, cinnamon buns, cream puffs, and more. They have sweet and savory items, and a gram and go case. The drink menu is extensive, from coffee to tea and with special drinks varying with the season. The prices are about higher than your typical cafe but it's because they make most things in house with fresh ingredients. Today I got the special black sesame matcha latte ($7.50, 12 oz), my friends a lavender oat milk latte, and a a marmalade chai latte. Each drink comes out beautifully with latte art and at the perfect temperature. My black forest cream puff ($5) was beautiful but the cherry chocolate cream filling was a tad too sweet and tart. My friend's croissant was large, buttery, and super flaky - very Parisian. I think this was $5ish too. There are a lot of tables well spaced out. They have several really strong heaters so it can actually get real warm inside. It also looked like a lot of people were meeting here for get togethers or group meetings, as the space is comfortable, warm, and welcoming. Great for families too. Also free wifi! Once you visit Fika, you'll understand this place is so popular!

I've given this place a few more chances and although it's not a place that I would RAVE about, I do really like it. They have really great and unique specialty drinks, sometimes they're a hit sometimes they're a miss bit that's up to personal preference. Usually I get a warm latte, you can taste the syrups better that way, but I risked it this time and I got the coconut limeade (I hate lemonade so idk what I was thinking) but I LOVED it, very refreshing. Their pastries are superb, although pricy I do admit. My go to is the pecan roll. The line is usually pretty long but there's still seating most of the time. There are weddings in the same area so if you come at the same time as a wedding the line will be longer. The baristas are really sweet and helpful with their recommendations. Overall not anything super crazy but I would bring friends or family here.

I bumped score up a tad because of the great vibe, fun atmosphere. This place like Farm 12 has quality food, great service but you also pay for it. I understand a portion goes to get causes in our community so I commend that. I went on a beautiful sunny Sunday, wow, one would think a famous person was performing!!! Cars in every space possible for a couple blocks plus the various parking lots with a line that didn't let up (ordering coffee, pastries etc) the entire 90 mins. I was there. At least with the added seating that wasn't an issue. I could help but wonder how much money this place alone is pulling in on just one day if my med. plain ice coffee and a scone was just over $12!! I didn't like that you have to wait for your drink and food items separately, didn't make sense. The cold brew was good, the blackberry sage scone was very different.... the outer area was more savory similar to thanksgiving sage cornbread until you get the sweet jam center. It was oddly good. Wanted to try a cookie but at $5 I couldn't. $6 was bad enough for both the coffee and scone. I'll be back, great for meeting a friend.

It's my first time visiting the Farm 12 area in Puyallup. My friend and I met up at Fika to catch up over coffee. She ordered a Farm 12 mocha, and I ordered a matcha latte. If you order "for here" they give your hot drink to you in a café mug. The inside is so spacious with plenty of tables and seating. They offer free WiFi, so my friend and I were able to bring our laptops to check work emails and join a meeting. The inside is large, so sound travels and echos. It's great for writing, emails, reading and such but it gets loud with everyone talking that I wouldn't recommend for meetings. The staff are super friendly and quick with your drinks. We got hungry and also grabbed a turkey honey mustard wrap with a string cheese on the side. The wrap was kind of soggy in the container, but it tasted good. Overall, I would come back to Fika when I visit Farm 12 again, and it's a cool place to work for a day if needed.

Cute spot at farm 12 in puyallup. We wanted to go to cat and rabbit but they're closed on mondays. this spot was only a couple miles away so we checked it out. Its super cute with some great options. I appreciated that they had several gf offerings and purchased a gf muffin and scone for my mom. I was slightly bummed that they didn't have anything gf that was chocolate. I'm not sure if they ever do, just didn't when i was there. I also got a pb cookie for her husband. My friend and i got a seasonal (pumpkin) cheesecake and slice of the peanut butter cake to share. The cake is pretty and tasted good- it was cold- but it felt one dimensional- maybe they could do some cream cheese in the frosting to give it a tang. It is good but missing something. The cheesecake was pretty good. The service was quick and friendly. The space is large and nice. Apparently can get pretty busy on the weekend.

Located away from the busy streets, being at Fika was relaxing and peaceful. Their landscaping, large open buildings, and large windows allow for great lighting into the space. Despite the long line of customers, the cashier and barista were friendly. I really enjoyed my Cuban coffee and dark chocolate cookie. I can't remember what my friend ordered to drink, but she loved it. She also had an apple scone which was delicious!

The first time I went here a month or so ago- pastries well stocked and good selection in the early afternoon. I was in the area around 12:30? 1? Again so I decided to swing in and I won't make that mistake again. I feel like open hours should be adjusted because there was nothing there. I get if they sell out they sell out but it seems crazy or mismanagement to be open 2 more hours and have nothing but a couple cookies. I think maybe if the employees were friendly and said sorry we don't have much left we had such a busy day or large order etc but they just looked impatient and like we were to be wowed ha. We settled on a slice of peanut butter cake- a couple of the left cookies and vegetables and ranch. The peanut butter cake was dry and overpowering peanut butter but it looked beautiful. The cookies were fine but somehow the vegetables and ranch were the best of all we got. The first time I stopped in we got croissants and they were great!!!! Just really wishing I would have kept driving this time around. I recommend going really early or not at all love the croissants and the fresh flower stand and the lupine in the park next store when in season. Coffee somehow tastes better at farm12 than at Fika but check it out early in the day read more

LOVE this place! I caught up with a friend and did morning devotionals on one of my days off, and it was a nice time. Like, the barn vibe was immaculate, and there was more than enough space to do devotionals, to hang out, and to get work done. I got: *honey latte ($6): sadly, sorely lacking in honey flavor, the latte was alright though. *kouign amann ($5): flaky, sticky, and filled with a strawberry, I enjoyed this. *goat-cheese-bacon galette ($8): the lamination on the pastry was PERFECT. It was so buttery, flaky, and soft, which I loved. Despite the coffee being *ok,* I enjoyed this thoroughly, so much so that this may just be my new default spot on my mornings off. Gotta see if the other coffee options are better as well hehe Come and have a morning fika with me sometime! read more

As a big fan of the Farm 12 restaurant, I've been so excited to try Fika! The space is gorgeous and serene, the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee and a pastry! I had a hazelnut americano and it was one of the best I've ever had- delicious! I also had the seasonal scone which was cranberry and orange, it was flavorful and not dry! I decided to drive to Fika on a Saturday morning for some coffee and pastries. There were 2 employees working which seemed to be less than needed for the volume they had as it took about 20 minutes from the time I ordered to receive my 2 coffees and pastries. I can understand that businesses are short handed right now. Once I arrived home I handed my husbands coffee to him and it was half empty. I guess it was filled with foam rather than milk. Their specialty lattes are great and tasty. I ordered the lavender latte and it was delicious. I also ordered the almond croissant, chocolate croissant and a cinnamon roll. They were all equally delicious and fresh. Though there was a bit of disappointment with the wait the coffee and pastries made up for it. read more

Recommend the lavender latte both iced and hot are good! The baristas are all super kind and the baked goods they have at the counter look really good but have yet to try. Lots of natural lighting from the big windows and a beautiful view of rainier and the flower fields. And if you havent tried the farm 12 restaurant is right next door and also definitely worth stopping by! read more

Fika embodies all aspects of what I envision to be the perfect coffee shop: good coffee, a large selection of tasty pastries and meals, friendly staff, lots of seating options indoors and outdoors, and amazing ambiance and aesthetics. Bonus points for it being next to a trail and having a great view of the landscape. It easily became one of my favorite coffee shops in the area and I've visited enough times to claim many free items in their rewards system. One note is that despite the plethora of seating, there were times during peak lunch hours in the summer where it took me a hot second to find a seat but I assume it was due to school being out. read more

Rich, delicious coffee and tasty, perfectly baked pastries abound. I love the idea of Fika (the Swedish term for a coffee break, I believe!) and the baristas know their stuff here. They are trained in latte art (not easy, by the way!), make consistently good cups of coffee, and seem to be knowledgeable about the foods and pastries they offer. There is a giant hangout area attached to the little coffee bar, which unfortunately for introverts like me is always busy busy, but if you like the busy you will probably enjoy the atmosphere is you actually want to hang out. I take mine to go, but one day I'd like to stay and drink from their lovely ceramic cups ^_^ Highly recommend for coffee lovers! read more

This place is the cutest place ever! It's such a cute spot to meet up with friends and they have TONS of seating! The people that work their are so friendly. If you have to order one thing from fika it would be the Almond Croissant. It is so amazing I would go back to Fika just for that one pastry it is AMAZING!!! read more

This where people go that don't want to drive to a good bakery . Can we take some pride in our cookies . I've thrown away most of them after a couple bites . Not worth the calories . Cakes are ok . Better off driving to Tacoma or Olympia if you really want good baked goods . Great atmosphere. More for people that have not experienced a good bakery . The chocolate chip cookie in the restaurant up front isn't bad but they never have them in the bakery . Do better read more

The pastries are to die for! This is a real example of farm to table excellence!! The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. This is the perfect place to study or catch up with friends, there is wonderful lighting and plenty of seating. My only complaint is the espresso, I would love to see a higher quality coffee since the bar is so high with everything else(: Thank you!! read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in the area! The coffee is made perfectly every time and the pastries are very good (: Be sure to try their chocolate chip cookie! The staff are always very welcoming and are so informative for when your order is ready or how long it will take. If you choose to sit inside, there is a good amount of space to sit, along with couches at the center - good place to bring and play a board game with some family or friends! read more

Holy smokes is this place FANTASTIC. First of all, these pastries... guys. I think they may be the best pastries I've ever had in my life!!! The service, coffee, and ambiance are everything you could want and more. This is also the first place that I've seen a Cuban coffee south of Seattle! To top it all off the partnership they have with Step by Step- helping families while giving you out of this world sticky buns?10/10 would recommend. read more

After trying several of their baked goods at local coffeeshops in Tacoma area, I discovered an…read moreopportunity from social media that they were having a pop up at their own brick and mortar baking kitchen, with collab with local coffee, Civic Roasters, a few months back. I know they do not have regular open hours for just walk in purchase, but rather, they're custom order type business, but I have yet to place any custom orders so I cannot speak to that experience. What made me write this review is how accurate the owner (Brianne) described cake and desserts in the description and the baked goods taste matched 200% of the description. The pistachio cake was out of the world, so was the whoopie pie!!! I got to meet Brianne in person and she was very friendly, and was kind to explain everything about each of her baked goods she had out that day. I've tried their baked goods from pop tarts to cookies to housemade Twinkie and the creation and taste are unmatched. Single serve baked goods were more on pricier side, but well worth every bite. I would definitely order custom baked goods from here, knowing the quality and taste of products from this shop!!! Currently, you can find Spilled Butter baked goods at Cosmonaut coffee, Outer Dark Coffee, and at Tacoma Farmers Market (also known as Tacoma Broadway Farmers Market) from time to time. Enjoy!!!

There's ample parking that's paved or across the street on gravel. The food looked amazing in photos, but I wouldn't say it was as good as it looked or sounded in descriptions. It was generally very tasty, but everything felt like it was missing just one ingredient that would make it better. It could be that I'm just more used to ethnic flavors and these were just not quite hitting the mark. For example the stratciatella was good, but if the whipped ricotta was a little more fluffy and there was some extra black pepper or lemon added it would have been perfect. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled. There are still a lot of dishes I'd like to try and since I loved the area, it would be worth coming back again.

Our chowder arrived about 10 minutes later, but it tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the accompanying dinner roll was completely flavorless and factory-made. Since we were hungry, we ate it quickly anyway. It took 45 minutes for our entrees--a Country Fried Steak and a California Benedict--to arrive. By 3:00 PM, we were famished, which made it all the more disappointing to discover our food was cold, soggy, and hard. The cubed fries, scrambled eggs, and English muffin tasted like they had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to our table. For a restaurant advertising a "farm-to-table" concept, the eggs, salad, croutons, and muffin felt entirely mass-produced. The service was equally disappointing; our server never returned to refill our water. While the atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit over 100 people, they seemed severely understaffed. The host stand was backed up, it took too long to order, and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. For $23 a plate, I expect significantly better quality in both the food and the service.

So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.

Everything tasted fresh and the garlic cheesy spread added nice flavor to the sandwich. Fika is a front for Step by Step, a pregnancy center in Puyallup that discourages abortion and uses dirty tricks against women seeking them. It wasn't until we found the article from the Seattle Times that we found out the truth. If you eat there, you are giving money to the kinds of people that firebomb Planned Parenthoods and murder doctors that perform abortions. If you eat there, you are giving money to the folks that are actively trying to make A Handmaiden's Tale a reality. Boycott them. Protest in front of the place on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
