It's very lively, compared to other places i've been to where the salon employees seem to work hard ignoring you. I had a pedicure and bio gel extension nails manicure. They are *serious* about cleanliness and sanitation. My feel felt great and toenails look terrific. The bio gel nails are a true game changer! They are indestructible, smooth, and easy to file down if needed. I even went back after a week to get a new gel polish. I am really happy to find a chill salon.

I called to ask if they were available for a dip mani. They said yes and to come in. I arrived…read moreabout 7 mins later as I live very close. They made me wait 25 mins before someone worked on my nails. The first woman took off my previous dip and sanded the nail beds. Then, she gave me to a different woman for the next steps. I had already told her I did not want that woman as she had done my nails previously and they were lumpy and had a black speck on one nail that I saw and told her that wasn't supposed to be there and she said you wouldn't be able to see it when we were done but when we were done you could see it plain as day and when I asked her to redo that nail, she said she couldn't see anything and the nail was fine. So, I told the woman I would rather have someone else do the finishing of the nails this time. She then sanded my nails some more for the prep and I had to wait an additional 30 mins for another woman to be available. No problem, a good set of nails is worth the wait. Overall, it took them 2 hours to do nails that shouldn't have taken more than 70 mins. Normally, my nails last 3 weeks and the only thing forcing me to get them redone at that time is the grow out. 6 days after getting my nails dipped, the tips and sides started to peel away from the dip and the top coat started to peel off. I was out of town and couldn't go back to the salon until day 10, and by that time 3 of my nails had the tips ripped off completely from snagging on stuff. Keep in mind these are my real nails. I've been having my nails dip mani for over 4 years straight and this has never happened. This was caused by lack of experience and expertise when prepping and finishing my nails. When I finally went into the salon to show the manager my nails, she said that happens with real nails. Ummm, no it doesn't. It's never happened to me. I asked for her to remove the remaining product from my nails and provide me a refund of my $70 I paid. She said refunds were against their policy but she would have someone fix them. I had already had everyone at her store do my nails at some point and none of them were worth $70 and 2 hours of my time. So no thanks on your sub par service. Ultimately, she chose to not give me a refund and told me she would prefer I leave a negative review of her business. I was very disappointed in her choice of outcome.

I specifically requested an individual for my builder gel set, turns out she doesn't do this. I was not notified ahead of time, otherwise I would have made different arrangements. The pedicure was ok but they did a horrible job shaping my nails. I just did one color, no designs. Let me just say, they do NOT do builder gel here. They kept trying to push dip on me which I do not like as it comes out thicker and doesn't adhere to my nails properly. I had previously had a builder gel set on but I needed it redone as I had paint stains between my nail and the builder. They removed it then put clear "builder" on. This was just gel shellac. I got clear, no designs or anything crazy. They did not offer any additional colors for the builder. My mani/pedi came out to $140 My friend did a mani with "builder" as well as designs on multiple nails and a single color pedi, hers came out to $120. Tell me how the heck does that work?! Pricing is very inconsistent. The next day one of my nails broke! I have never had this happen before with a builder set. And today, a week later, there's already lifting of my nails. 4 days after my friend had her nails off the "builder" gel peeled off! They offered to redo our nails but refused a refund. I'm so upset by this whole experience I don't even want to return for the redo. Do not waste your money or time here.

There were five of us total (including my son), and they were able to accommodate all of us at the same time for pedicures, which was amazing and made it such a fun group experience. I had a day off one afternoon and being nearby Gresham, I saw Amy on Yelp and decided- why not? Gave her a call and she answered and was able to get me in asap. She was flexible, courteous and kind. Once in, we went over what I would like to get accomplished and the price points. First off, prices are very much affordable. Secondly, she obviously has the experience and care. Noticed when she shampooed my hair the temperature was warm and perfect, and during the final rinse she switched to cool water. She was able to accomplish the length and texture of my hair without overdoing it and gave me the perfect look for my round face. At the end, my hair was silky smooth, soft to touch and cut beautifully all in a short time span. Since we had the time, I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed and let me tell you. My eyebrows looks more fuller! I started off with thin small brows that was grown and unruly and without precision waxing and detailed tweezing she made it seem perfect! Bonus feature is she accepts the 10% discount when you arrive and check in on Yelp. Highly highly recommend for everyone to stop by and try Amy's! I would have loved to get photos, but she said she is in the middle of renovating and upgrading her sign and inside. *Covid procedures on hand. Hand sanitizers available before entering and she wore a mask the whole time, and I did the same.
