Not worth the hassle. Placed a pretty basic delivery order at 6 pm. Finally shows up at 8 pm, but missing a salad and the wrong calzone. Called up because the delivery guy basically ran away. The girl on the phone tells me it will be another hour before they can get the correct food delivered back to us. So a 3 hour ordeal for a calzone. Not offered any thing to compensate. My wife and I went here for dinner and waited over an hour for a pizza and a salad. Service was terrible. We decided to give it another try after a few months and took my kids and grandkids. Again, we waited over an hour and no food was served. We were told by the manager that they process one ticket at a time. This means that we need to wait until other orders are completed before we can even get our appetizers. We will never go there again!!! I've ordered from this place a few times if you get delivery it's cold all the time .. I've ordered pepperoni pizzas a few times, you have to search for the pepperoni I actually counted 11 pieces of pepperoni on an 8 slice pizza .. really ?? That's just pathetic ... The food was great! Pizza cheese had excellent flavor and the sausage they used was smoky an delicious. What made my experience here though was when the plates and plastic-ware was forgotten, the delivery guy, Gian, volunteered to go get them and bring them back to the hotel. Really sweet! Pleasantly surprised and will be back. I have lived in Coventry for years and always thought to stop in and give it a try. Finally tried it tonight for bite and drink. The moment we walked in was pleasantly surprised, nicely appointed, clean and quaint bar area. We will be back to try Sunday brunch which looks fantastic. We sat at the bar and will say the bartender was great, she was very friendly and gave great service. My fiancé had the crazy Joe's salad (think that was the name of it). It was a combination of 3 salads in one and she loved it. I had the gyro plate which was also very good! My wife and I were new to Coventy last fall. Renovating our home called for more than a few meals sent in. Twisted was our favorite choice. They were awesome. The food was fantastic. You could always count on good food with fast delivery. The last couple of months or so, they have gone from awesome to horrible. I used to give them 5 stars. I gave 2 stars for the wings, those haven't hit bottom yet, even a few wings short, they were good. (Maybe I should consider myself lucky!) I used to order the Zonanator. Used to be fantastic. A big Calzone that is supposed to be 5 pounds. The first couple of times, it was just great, don't know it is was 5 lbs but it was pretty heavy. The last couple of times I ordered it, is was 2/3 the size and burnt. We even asked them not to burn it and they did. Seriously. I ordered a steak and cheese with onions and green peppers. You won't believe this God awful sandwich. The steak was burnt, the few onions and peppers were raw and thrown in. Just pitiful. Even the pizza has gone down. Tonight we gave it a shot. Figured maybe they were going through a bad patch. Should have saved my money. My steak sandwich had cooked onion and peppers, Yay!, but once again burnt steak. I do not know what they used for cheese but did not taste good and it was barely warm. The onion rings were cold, can't nuke them because then they are junk. I also got wings. Thy have gone down as well but are still ok, however the box was smashed and sauce leaking all over. So, in short, save your coin and hit The Old Theater. Also, Twisted has hit or miss delivery drivers. According to whoever answers the phone, they don't show up much for work. We are disabled and prefer delivery. They make you use Door Dash. That could explain the cold food, smashed, wings container and the long delivery time. Again, save your coin. And, forget Door Dash... Twisted is 5 minutes from our house. Door Dash said it would be 45 minutes, it took 2 hours and the food was just thrown on the porch. No bell to let us know it was here. If it weren't for our dogs barking, we never would have known that the food was here. read more

My brother and I just ordered food for delivery and his pizza was wrong and they had forgotten my salad. The manager went above and beyond my expectations to fix the problem and we were both happy and impressed!!! The wings were good, I got a huge amount for a small order. Pizza is thicker which isn't my cup of tea but my brother thinks it's delicious. Definitely recommend this place for the customer service alone!!! read more

The pizza was terrible last night, and I had to wait 15 minutes when I went to pick up my pizza. When I pick up pizza for take out I usually like to show up a little later than they tell you when ordering. Last night they told me it'd be 25 minutes, which is fine. I ran some errands before and got there 30 minutes after I called. They looked around for my order, and said it'd be another couple minutes, which turned into 15! That's annoying, but to make matters worse, when I got home the pizza was greasy, cheese slipping off the pizza, and it had huge bubbly areas. The kids were so disappointed. Been here 3 times for take out. First time, food was good (especially the gyro and fries) and service was sufficient. Second time food was ok, but service was slower. The third time, they told me my order would take 20-25 minutes. It ended up taking 50 minutes and of the four things I ordered, 3 were made incorrectly (I'm not sure how a pepperoni pizza order translates to a pepperoni, mushroom, and bacon pizza). Too bad, because I really do like the Greek food and buffalo wings, and the servers are friendly and seem to be trying their best, but there are too many other pizza places in Coventry with comparable food to put up with the mediocre (at best) service. read more

AT 7:30pm DELIVERY FINALLY ARRIVED. (pizza and calzone over cooked and cold). delivery guy said he'd see if he could get the bill voided due to how long it took to get us the food. gave delivery guy $10 anyway and thanked him. while eating dinner, the manager Jim, called my house 3x and left a message saying: "I've reached out to the coventry PD. it's in your best interest to call me back OR I'll have to pursue this further, taking legal action" so now he's threatening me b/c he and his delivery driver have communication issues. when we finally called the manager back, my husband told him to come get the $21 or send the coventry PD to collect. Went to Filipios twisted pizza My wife & I both ordered a veggie wrap and sweet potato fries.About a half hour later we received or wraps which were horrible , loads of lettuce and tomato and hardly any peppers. And never received our fries.when the waitress asked us how our food was I could not hold back from telling her how terrible our food was. So she apologized and spoke to the manager and he told her to only charge us for 1 wrap . Oh and not to charge us for the fries we never received. What sports they were. The first time we ordered food it was great. The second time they messed up my order we didn't find out until we got home. I had ordered a calzone without cheese (cow) and with feta (not cow, goat/sheep) as I am lactose intolerant. They put it on the top so I had to cut off the top to eat it as I did not want to drive back to their location from my house. Third time we ordered they caught the mistake of putting cheese on my calzone right before giving it to us and re-fired it. This brings us to tonight I ordered a calzone without cow cheese and with feta. My husband brought it out to us and I opened up the box to check it and there was cow cheese in it and on top. We took it back in and explained to them that I can't have cow cheese just feta. They re-fired it I checked the calzone before we left it looked a little over done but okay. I got home and the bottom of it was completely burnt and there was absolutely no feta in it. At this point I am completely unimpressed with their ability to complete a food order, and their quality control. There are plenty of good italian places in Coventry that can make a food order as ordered, so I wont be wasting anymore time or money at this location. read more

I have ordered from these guys and ordered one Pepsi and one Diet Pepsi, I am diabetic so I CANNOT drink regular Pepsi. I received 2 regular Pepsi. I called them back and was put on hold for what seemed like forever just to be told that their slip said I ordered 2 regular. The girl on the phone said I could buy a Diet Pepsi and it would take a while for it to get to me. I ended up having to choke down my food with no drink. I called back and ask why it was so much, the girl who answered the phone told me there was a delivery charge of $2.50! I live about 1 yes 1 minute from the place, I told the girl to cancel the order and I hung up. They called back and said they would wave the fee. Ok fine! The food gets here and I asked the driver do you get the fee? He said no. Back to the food, the grinder was ok, the Cobb salad had 1 piece oh chicken the size of a quarter. I ordered 2 pizzas a sandwich and appetizer for my family's dinner. Oh yea and a bottle of soda. First I found the bill to be kinda of high but that's not the kicker. I ordered extra cheese on my kids small pizzas and extra meat on my husband's large pizza. My husband's pizza was burnt and dry with extra burnt cheese and nearly no meat...that I was charged extra for and he had the extra cheese. My kids pizza had little cheese and pepperoni like crazy....they had them mixed up. They had also forgot my soda when they delivered. I managed to track down the driver before he left to tell him about the soda, he apologized and said he would back. After my husband saw his pizzas he asked me to call and get a new pizzas. I called and was told they made it the way it said to. I hung up and told my husband to call because I was told it was done right but I was starting at 2 pizzas made wrong. It took some arguing to convince it wasn't right before they would make a new one for my husband. The kids were fine with theirs so big deal there. Was never offered a coupon or money back for their obvious mistake... The food there is good but service needs lots of work. That was the first and last time I ate there. Many people has recommended I try this location and I figured I mine as well because they had opened up so close to my house, it was nothing but convenient. I have visited here twice, both times we had ordered take out. The first time we ordered a large pizza with extra cheese. Simple enough, or so I thought. After it was delivered, we had realized it was severely burnt and had come with extra sauce and half the amount of cheese. If we had not been in a rush, we would have certainly stopped back in. I continued to hear great things about this place from friends and coworkers. So I figured I would give it another shot. I mean everyone has a bad day right? This time we had ordered a small calzone and a small pizza. We had picked it up and everything seemed correct. I split the calzone and although tasty, still didn't seem to match up to the reviews I had previously heard. I am still apprehensive to try them again. we have been to the Coventry store on a few occasions. Their gluten free pizza is very good. However, we have gotten takeout on four occasions with delivery and once with pickup and the service is the slowest I've ever seen. Tonight when we ordered online at 8:05 it promised a delivery time of 8:55. At 9:25 I called and it had not even left the store. No thank you please cancel. An hour and a a half for one small pizza? On another occasion I ordered at 5:00 for a 7:30 delivery because we were having guests. At 8:15 no pizza and I called the store. Same excuse that they did not have enough drivers. When the driver did arrive he made sure to tell me what I should tip. An hour late and you have the nerve to say how much to tip. I think we will be going elsewhere. Called an hour ago for pizza and fish & chips. Pizza just got here cold but no fish and chips. They charged me for everything (including $2.50 for delivery) but were missing 1/2 the order...then the delivery guy asks me if I want the rest of the food (already charged to me) and if I want to give him a tip! WOW! I told him I'd tip him when he came back with the rest of the food I paid for. He did come back with it promptly. We ordered here through online. It said it would take 35 minutes. I am lucky we decided ot pick it up sooner. It was ready at about 9:10. The pizza tastes like they burnt it (the crust taste burnt). I've ordered from here I think 3 times now. The first time I ordered a burger and fries and that was delicious. Second time, I ordered a burger and fries and my friend ordered and Italian Grinder. The burger was not as good as the first time and fries were old and cold! Tried again tonight and got 2 grinders. I ordered the Italian and added onions and olives and it came with lettuce and tomato with the cheese and meat. I also ordered a Turkey and Cheese and paid extra for Bacon and Onion. The whole thing came to over $26. The Italian had a few tiny pieces of black lettuce on it. No onions and very little meat! The Turkey and Cheese that was supposed to have added Bacon and Onion had no turkey, no onion, and no bacon! It too had rotted lettuce (a couple tiny little one inch pieces. I tossed it all in the trash. Never again. I don't have money to waste on nasty take out. Back to Good Old Ricottis I go! This Twisted Pizza is nothing like the East Greenwich one!! read more
