None of them beat pops price. I saved over $500! My time at pops was very streamline with no hiccups . I came in after chatting on yelp, (pops allows you to come in anytime for free inspections / more accurate estimates). I came in a little bit later than when I said but that was no problem for the team at pops. They got to working on my car ASAP , I was satisfied with the hospitality they provided while I was waiting ( free WiFi and water !) . When Manny told me the car would be done, it was done. I took my Passat in for an engine code that said the car was running to lean. They found a leak in the O ring so they fixed it as well as a few other parts. I picked up the car and was gonna have it smogged but the check engine light came on again. This time they changed the sensor. I picked up the car was driving to go get it smogged again and the check engine light came on. I took it back for the third time and this time the thermostat had to be replaced. They kept the car got the issue resolved, I needed a new battery and he had one and to my surprise, they went and took my car and had it smogged for me. Was in the area to purchase a used 2011 car from Honda dealership in Oxnard. Went to Pops for a pre-purchase Inspection and was quoted $60 (lowest compared to the other nearby shops that do Inspections) when I got there Manny had his mechanic checked it out and he said, "I can't charge you for this service because this car is so new that he couldn't find anything wrong with it." WOW!! WHAT HONESTY! not only he serviced me that same day and hour, he didn't charge me. We need more people like Manny and his crew. I couldn't find anyone that would work on my 65 Riviera. Then I spoke with Manny at Pops. I could tell he new about my car and it's original motor in the conversation I had with him. I felt confident enough to tow the car over there and sure enough they got the job done a week sooner than promised for a price my friends in my Buick group thought was really good. These people are absolute angels. I broke down on my way home to Santa Clarita from Santa Barbara. It felt like the middle of nowhere. They wouldn't have my part till the morning. The girl in the office actually offered to pick me up in the morning if I was able to get home. They took such good care of me.
