As much as I love sitting outdoors on a nice day, I actually really enjoyed watching it at nearby Aurora because they already had chairs set up and there weren't extra noises from cars, headlights, etc to distract from the movie. Even with the potential for additional noise and distraction sitting outside, I really have loved my experiences going to Movies on the Block over the years. Sitting on the ground hurts my back, so I always bring a chair of my own, and for the most part people with chairs are respectful to people will blankets by not sitting in front of them. There's a basic understanding among movie-goers. Over the years there have been some really great movies in the mix, including everything from Psycho to The Breakfast Club and so much more. I love that this free outdoor movie event has been continuing for years, and even with the closing of Tazza which partially hosted it, I'm glad to see it still going strong.

They post what movies they are showing throughout the summer, and it is completely free. There is a paid lot right behind the seating area, and several other lots and garages around. We like to pack a small cooler and our camping chairs, plus a blanket since it gets cold. It's so nice to sit surrounded by historic buildings, and the street is lit with cute strand lights. There are great nearby restaurants and bars to go to beforehand or after. This is a fun spot for families, couples, and everything in between!

This is a large theater too. It's open seating so you have to get there a bit early so you can choose your seats. The visual and sound all were great! We enjoyed the film! This time we Ubered there but have driven there too and managed to find street parking nearby - both times on Sunday afternoon. Will be back to watch other classics!

The bathrooms are always filthy with several stalls being out of order, generally marked with paper towel signs and black trash bags. The ones that aren't out of order are blown out, and the whole downstairs area smells like toilet. It's not a problem when you're in the theater but it's an absolute war zone once you get out these days.

I was able to snag a Wicked tin and cup at no extra charge, which I honestly thought were cooler than the ones at larger chain theaters--and they offer free refills! The theater itself was very comfortable and nearly packed. The seats are large, plush recliners, though the space to pass by other guests is quite tight, making bathroom trips a bit challenging. Speaking of bathrooms, they're located upstairs and were freezing for some reason. Most of the women's stalls were also marked out of order, which was inconvenient. They seemingly have an issue with the heat as one of the theaters had no heat inside so they were offering refunds. Overall, this theater is really cute and has a lot of charm, but it could definitely use some renovations. That said, I'd still love to come back!

The food and beverage list is extensive, and they have bottomless popcorn. They treat the movie going experience with a ton of respect, and crack down on anyone making noise during the show. The seats are comfy and the service is excellent. The food options are good (despite including the calories on the menu lol I don't wanna know, ok?!?) I'll be back soon as there are a lot of movies I am wanting to see.
