As much as I love sitting outdoors on a nice day, I actually really enjoyed watching it at nearby Aurora because they already had chairs set up and there weren't extra noises from cars, headlights, etc to distract from the movie. Even with the potential for additional noise and distraction sitting outside, I really have loved my experiences going to Movies on the Block over the years. Sitting on the ground hurts my back, so I always bring a chair of my own, and for the most part people with chairs are respectful to people will blankets by not sitting in front of them. There's a basic understanding among movie-goers. Over the years there have been some really great movies in the mix, including everything from Psycho to The Breakfast Club and so much more. I love that this free outdoor movie event has been continuing for years, and even with the closing of Tazza which partially hosted it, I'm glad to see it still going strong.

They post what movies they are showing throughout the summer, and it is completely free. There is a paid lot right behind the seating area, and several other lots and garages around. We like to pack a small cooler and our camping chairs, plus a blanket since it gets cold. It's so nice to sit surrounded by historic buildings, and the street is lit with cute strand lights. There are great nearby restaurants and bars to go to beforehand or after. This is a fun spot for families, couples, and everything in between!

I think this might even be part of the same program as the new backyard program. The atmosphere is a fabulous one all the families are out with their small children of preschool and grade school aged children waiting for the film to start. There are refreshments available proceeds will benefit the Chinatown youth. Come on down to surface road and enjoy your flick free of charge. There are plenty of seating that has been installed for that movie as well as the monkey bars will bring your own beach chair. Just one more way to enjoy Boston's fabulous Chinatown.

Surprisingly solid with all the great unhealthy options, fair pricing, and decent quality than you'd expect at a drive-in. I always bring my own food & drinks. The whole place is just a series of couches, some with blankets on them. Peter and I have a favorite spot in the middle. It's a loveseat with a table in front of it. So perfect. The fact that I can go to one parking lot and visit this many stores is what I love the most. You go to dinner and movies and not wast time driving. I'm not a fan of typical malls so strip malls are the way I go. Yes, you can drive to Salem, NH and save some money on taxes however I would rather spend extra money for convenience and time saving.

The people who run and work there are always super nice and helpful. The only thing that kinda sucks is screen 3 radio tends to always have white noise background static no matter where you're parked, never had an issue with the other screens and stations. It's not bad enough to make me not want to see a movie but to some It may be distracting or annoying other then that it's still all around a great time

Speaking of bathrooms, they're located upstairs and were freezing for some reason. Most of the women's stalls were also marked out of order, which was inconvenient. They seemingly have an issue with the heat as one of the theaters had no heat inside so they were offering refunds. Overall, this theater is really cute and has a lot of charm, but it could definitely use some renovations. That said, I'd still love to come back!

So there's no reason at all for the young unsupervised teens & tweens in the back of The Hail Mary movie last week to stop forcing around creating rackets serving all the people in the movie theater. Two men finally got up and yelled at them to calm their butts down. It mostly worked. We left the theater and tried to find someone responsible for managing the facility. There was no one. Why not horse around in the back of the theater? There's no one who cares. If you want a nice movie experience go somewhere else
