From the start, Pauline (RN) has made me feel at ease. I came in for Sculptra and was expecting at least some bruising (totally normal!), but I didn't bruise at all - which honestly speaks to her technique and gentle touch. Of course, results vary, but it was a great surprise. What I appreciate most is Pauline's aesthetic eye. She takes a thoughtful, long-term approach, never rushing or overdoing it. We've been slowly working to restore volume in a way that still feels like me - just a fresher version. I've also had PGF under my eyes (noticed a visible improvement!) and Botox, and have been happy with the results. If you're looking for someone with a light touch, sharp eye and kind presence, I can't recommend Pauline enough. And honestly, the best compliment I can give? Friends keep asking what I've been doing - because the results speak for themselves. So grateful to be in her care!

I had a lower blepharoplasty and Wave Lift (a lower facelift with endoscopic dissection and facial…read moremuscle repositioning) at Wave Plastic Surgery three months ago, and unfortunately, I've been very disappointed with the results. Originally, I went in for a consultation specifically for a lower blepharoplasty. However, during the appointment, both Verana and Dr. Peter Lee strongly encouraged me to also undergo the Wave Lift, stating it would create a more balanced and youthful overall result. Verana spoke highly of Dr. Lee's expertise, emphasizing his steady, skilled hand and how the Wave Lift allowed for precise repositioning of facial muscles, especially in the jaw and lower face, with minimal scarring. I was told that while it cost more, it was a long-term investment in my appearance and that I would be happy with the outcome. They also tried to upsell me on a chin augmentation, which I ultimately declined because it felt excessive for what I was initially seeking. While I understand that healing can take time, I'm still seeing issues that are hard to ignore. The right side of my face has several areas where it looks like fat was removed, leaving visible hollows, along with a small blemish-like bump and a dimple on my upper cheek -- none of which were there prior to surgery. I used to feel confident favoring that side of my face, but now I find myself covering it daily with makeup and my hair. The most troubling result has been the lower blepharoplasty. It seems excessive fat was removed from under my eyes, resulting in a sunken, hollowed appearance. Rather than looking refreshed and well-rested, I now appear more tired and aged -- exactly what I was hoping to avoid. My primary concern going into surgery -- clearly discussed during my pre-op consultation -- was the lower portion of my face. That's why I agreed to the Wave Lift. I had no interest in altering my upper cheek area, yet it now looks noticeably different in a way I never asked for. I'm also still seeing prominent buccal fat in the lower face, which I was told could be addressed, and I've developed unusual grooves at eye level on both sides that weren't present before surgery. I have a follow-up appointment scheduled and hope some of these concerns can be addressed, but I felt it was important to share my experience. I expected more natural, balanced results -- and a more thoughtful, patient-centered post-op process -- especially from a clinic with such a polished reputation. Cost of Lowr Bleph: $7000 Cost of Wave Lift: $16,350 With other fees, total $28, 958

I'm 68 years old. For years I struggled with breathing problems and sleep apnea. I used CPAP but…read morewas tired of being sick and tired. At 66, I had my first rhinoplasty. The surgeon was a triple board-certified plastic surgeon I had known for over 30 years. I trusted him and believed I was in excellent hands. The result was terrible. My breathing worsened and my nose looked unnatural. I lived with that outcome for over two years, trying to rationalize it, but I couldn't. This was my face. It affects how I breathe, how I sleep, and how I feel every day. So I did serious research. What I learned changed everything. Rhinoplasty is not just cosmetic. The nose must function. We are meant to breathe through our noses. When the structure is weakened or obstructed, airflow is compromised. Air must move freely when you inhale and exhale. The internal support has to remain stable so the airway does not collapse. Without that support, you mouth breathe, wake up tired, and constantly feel like you're not getting enough air. I experienced all of it. My research led me to Dr. Aaron Kosins in Newport Beach. Because mine was a revision case -- after my nasal bones had been broken in the first surgery -- preservation rhinoplasty was no longer available to me. I had missed the boat. Preservation rhinoplasty reshapes and repositions the natural structures of the nose instead of aggressively "hammering down" the bridge and rebuilding it from scratch. Dr. Kosins is one of the pioneers in using ultrasonic piezo instrumentation to precisely sculpt nasal bone rather than manually breaking it. This allows refinement of what a patient is born with while improving both appearance and function. Due to the prior damage, significant reconstruction was required, including cartilage taken from my own rib to rebuild and properly support my nose. If I could give one piece of advice: only do a piezo surgery! Dr. Kosins is widely regarded by his peers as a world expert in rhinoplasty, including preservation techniques and complex structural revision cases. Many established surgeons seek out his workshops and cadaver labs to refine advanced techniques. He has the rare ability to communicate directly, thoughtfully, and sincerely. From the first meeting, I knew I was finally in the right hands. And then came the result. It was a knockout. My breathing is excellent. Air moves freely through both sides of my nose when I inhale and exhale. There is no resistance, no collapse, no struggle to get enough air in or out. For the first time in years, breathing feels effortless. Cosmetically, my nose looks natural and balanced -- not artificial or overdone. I also want to acknowledge his team. Risa, the practice manager, was accessible and organized throughout the process. Judy was BEYOND amazing!!! After surgery she called and texted us multiple times a day, every single day, making sure I was doing well. We also had direct access to Dr. Kosins whenever we needed him. I never felt alone or uncertain. Choosing Dr. Aaron Kosins and his team made a major difference in my life, and I am extremely grateful.

I waited until the one-year mark to leave this review because I wanted to give my body enough time…read moreto fully heal and settle before speaking on my final results. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the outcome of my breast augmentation and with the level of follow-up support afterward. I had surgery on May 5, 2025. Around 4-5 months post-op, I began noticing significant asymmetry developing. By the time I returned for my follow-up appointment in September, the issue had already become very noticeable. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in. As a patient navigating an upsetting complication less than a year after surgery, that absence of communication left me feeling unsupported and alone in the process. I never expected perfection, and I understand complications can happen with any surgery. But when complications do occur, communication, reassurance, and aftercare matter just as much as the surgery itself. Patients deserve to know not only how successful outcomes are handled, but also how they are supported when results do not go as planned.

I had my surgery on February 28th. I talked to a few friends that also had the procedure…read more I did my own research and the gastric sleeve procedure was best for me. My friends suggested Dr. Naim because their surgeries went well and I could totally see my friends results. Dr Naim and his staff were awesome. I was hesitant to go forward with the procedure because this would be my first major surgery. I continued to gain weight and was approaching 300 lbs. I already had high blood pressure issues and was borderline diabetic. I also had sleep apnea. I had constant back and knee pain. Tying my shoes was a chore. Not to mention the severe sweating. I have tried all kinds of diets. They all worked but once I started eating regular food again I would gain the weight back and more. Dr. Niam explained the procedure and I decided it was my opportunity to get healthy again. The day of my surgery everything went smoothly. My surgery was about 45 minutes long. Quick and simple. My nurse, Shirley, was a blessing in disguise. She watched over me and had me up walking around right away. Shirley made me feel like I was family. She continued to give me my meds on time and got me up walking to make sure I had no blood clots. My friends said walking was the best thing to do after my surgery so I walked and walked. I was released the next morning and felt minor pain. I was completely off my pain meds two days later. Dr. Niam and his staff were wonderful. The staff made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the procedure. It's July and I'm down to 208 lbs. I feel great. I'm able to eat whatever I want but only in small portions. I have a beer from time to time but all and all I feel great. No more aches and pains. No more meds and no more sleep apnea. I have energy for days and my sex drive is through the roof. No more fat stomach in the way. Hey...... If you're thinking about having any weight loss surgery please do your research but when you're ready, Dr Niam is the doctor you should go see. Dr. Niam and his staff will treat you like family. Follow Dr. Niam's advice and you will be successful with your weight loss goals. Great surgeon with an awesome staff. Thank you all for your kindness and consideration throughout my weight loss surgery/journey. You guys are the best. Sincerely John Davis

Review for Dr. Yashar - 9/25/24…read more I had an appointment with Dr. Yashar this morning, and it was by far one of the most unprofessional encounters I've experienced in healthcare. Upon my arrival at 6 AM, Dr. Yashar took the opportunity not to focus on patient care but to publicly address my previous Yelp review in front of his nurses and assistants. He humiliated me by stating that he couldn't help a patient who didn't "trust" him and warned me to "be careful about unfair Yelp reviews" because he could "sue me for defamation." Dr. Yashar, let me clarify a few things. First, your threats of legal action for expressing my opinion are not only unfounded but a blatant misunderstanding of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which protects my right to freedom of speech. Unless I'm spreading false information with malicious intent, which I am not, I cannot be sued for defamation. As a patient, I have every right to share my experience, whether positive or negative, so that others can make informed decisions. Medical school may not have taught you about political science or emotional intelligence, but as a future practitioner in mental health, I suggest you practice some mindfulness. Instead of addressing my concerns with professionalism and respect, you raised your voice and projected your frustration about the review. Had you maintained patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and chosen to have a private, respectful conversation with me, I might have been open to reconsidering my review. Instead, your approach was inappropriate, and frankly, unethical. You asked why I would return to your surgery center if I didn't "trust" you. The answer is simple--convenience, the hope for a different experience, and trust in the rest of the staff, who have treated me with far more compassion and professionalism. This was my third appointment here. My second visit, when you were not my doctor, was significantly better. But today's experience with you has been the worst of all. Additionally, if you're going to refuse care, proper patient protocols should be in place. Making me come to your office, change into a hospital robe, get an IV placed, and then keeping me waiting in a cold room for two hours only to deny treatment is unacceptable. The responsibility for building a doctor-patient relationship falls on the physician, not the patient. Your staff was incredibly compassionate today, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same for you. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I hope you reflect on how you interact with future patients.

Unfortunately, I am still suffering from the results over 10 years later and cannot afford to repair the mistakes. I continue to have a double bubble issue on both breasts. After my first surgery, I experienced complications and developed a hematoma. I later went back in to fix the issues, but the outcome remained the same. What has been most difficult is that I was never offered a proper solution, revision support, or even a meaningful follow-up conversation about next steps. I paid over $8,000 for a surgery that has left me deeply insecure for more than a decade. I avoid bikinis, feel uncomfortable in my own body, and honestly feel heartbroken over the results. I have since consulted with other surgeons who explained that the implant placement was not done correctly, which likely contributed to the double bubble deformity and overall appearance. They also explained what would be required to repair the damage, but I simply cannot afford another $10,000 surgery. I am sharing this because, for years, I stayed quiet. I tried to be polite, not bother anyone, and even blamed myself. But now at 36, I've reached a breaking point and feel it's important to speak honestly about my experience. I hope women take the time to research thoroughly, meet with multiple surgeons and not go to the first surgeon they google like I did and ask difficult questions, and really think through their decision before moving forward. This was the first place I went to, and I trusted them completely. I miss my old self and appearance. The results have affected my confidence for years, and I hope one day I can afford to fix them. This is simply my personal experience, but I also wish the office had reached out over the years, checked on me, or acknowledged that the surgeries were not successful. I still have all the surgery paperwork and amount I paid, I look it and just wish there was an attempt to correct the mistakes or issues -Daisy
