The person who greeted me informed me that the classes were for all fitness levels and it is for all ages. I was told to come with my daughter, who they also said was welcome, so that we could try it out. Once I got to the class, we were separated from the other class members (was told classes were at your pace) in a private session. In the end, I was told my daughter, who is turning 12, was too young and could only do private sessions, and I should also do private sessions for at least 6 classes (for us both, this would be over $160 a session). I see they have happy customers, but I am sure they all must have come in fit or done their private sessions as suggested. I would not recommend this place if you are starting your fitness journey. You can get private training at a gym and some of the more beginning-level-welcoming CrossFit gyms. If CrossFit is your sport of choice and EX is the closest to your house, I am sure they will welcome you in once you are all fit and ready for their classes. In my case, a place that says I am welcome but treats my fitness level like a problem will never get any of my money

Gordon the owner/coach and all of his staff were knowledgeable, helpful and made everyone there feel awesome. I dropped in four days in a row and even did Yoga for the first time after the WOD on the fourth day. The facility is a good size, certainly not tiny, but not too open/big. It was organized and very clean, obvious that they maintain the place well. Thanks for the great hospitality CrossFit EX! I will definitely drop in again if in town.

First class was free and i was so impressed I signed up. This gym i spacious and has all the equipment you need to get the job done. Your favorite fitness influencers work out here but it's still the gym where nobody what your gym level is you're going to fit in. My favorite part of the gym is how focused and intentional they are about your form and performing movements without pain or injury. The energy in this gym is contagious and again whatever your fitness level in you're going to find your niche. To top it off they have their own cafe with some of the best shakes I've ever had. They also occasionally do limited time specials and sales on unlimited monthly class packages around holidays (for about $65-99+). The facility is spacious with a variety of machines and free weights. Everyone is pretty courteous and considerate with sharing the space. They have bathroom but I'm not sure about showers. I've never asked. They have an elite team of trainers that are dedicated to their work and will push you. They all are as fit and talented as their fit physiques imply. They will unlock a strength, power and resilience in you that you never even thought you had. I train with Cam and he is AMAZING - creates great muscle building and endurance workouts. Prepare to lift heavy. After a session or class with any of their trainers, you can enjoy a protein shake, wrap, cold pressured juice or smoothie from the juice stand onsite, Perfect Pair Juice Bar. They offer a great variety of nourishment to help your body recover after a good burn. They also sell juice cleanses that WORK (if you strictly follow their directions)! I lost 8 on their 3-day juice cleanse. Overall, the best part of this place is the solid community you gain with other gym patrons that you train with. You may start or end your days together with the common goal of improving your quality of life. The people here are serious and will show up consistently to workout with you and support you.
