I had a 1 hour intro session but I didn't realize there are no trainers. Red light portion was enjoyable but the rest was strange. There are no instructors - you follow a video on a tv, and you work out in a personal cube that fits up to 3 people. The cube are tiny and at any time another person may jump into your cube and do a session with you. I prefer the motivation and guidance of a trainer. I am in love! Came here for a free workout class that I saw an ad pop up for on Instagram. I came in and Cree (sorry if I spelled wrong), greeted me and explained how everything works and got me started on my hot cycle class. I came out and was ready to join. Potential Members BEWARE! Here is an honest and detailed review of by far the worst gym I have ever joined. After being a hotworx member for over 6 months, I would not recommend joining this gym-establishment to anyone. The value that a member will receive is not worth the money that will be spent on the monthly cost. There are way better gyms and saunas in this general area. Please allow me to explain in detail to help others completely avoid this place. The Pros: - This location is open 24/7 which is ideal for people with busy schedules. - Working out inside of a sauna does improve your skin and sleeping. -There is always available parking. -The filtered water from the machine tastes good The Cons: -There are frequent "technical issues" with saunas. Some of them take an extremely long time to reach the desired temperature. A member may go through an entire sauna session with only the final 10 minutes being the desired 125 degree temperature. Some sauna rooms do not get as hot as others. Sometimes sauna rooms are completely out of service. While this should be expected on the rare occasion, there should be some type of communication to those that have booked that particular sauna room within that timeframe. There is none from anyone. A member will just have to arrive and find out you can't take your scheduled session because it's broken. -The glass doors to the sauna rooms are very dirty. Previously, they provided paper towels and sanitation spray to wipe things down. However, they removed those and replaced them with thin cheap wipes that just smear all the dirt around. -When I joined, there were always small bottles of essential oils available to spray in the sauna room to cut down on the bad smells that occur when people are profusely sweating in a small space. The bottles are now empty all the time with no one ever refilling them. On my last visit, I didn't see any bottles at all. Members are expected to just deal with the smell or bring their own (I'm assuming). -The videos that play inside the sauna room do not change often. I believe every 4 to 6 months (potentially longer). Therefore, if you are attending regularly (as I was) they get boring rather quickly. -They were always technical issues with the app that is used to cause schedule classes. -The rooms are very small so being in there with one or two additional people you don't know will be very tight. If you know them, it's not too much of a problem. But you will be in a tight space and you will smell everything in there. -Management does an extremely poor job of communicating anything to members. Questions go unanswered and complaints are dismissed. There are no apologies and no acknowledgment. I have even spoke to the Regional Manager (Frank Miranda) who was unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. Luckily, I have emails of our exchange or people may not believe me. After completing my contract, and realizing, this gym was no longer a good fit, I attempted to cancel my member following the rules of my contract. The rules changed at least 3 times before I could actually cancel. I had to send a $9 certified letter from two blocks away just to cancel my contract. Read the contract before you sign! The cancellation policy is intentionally designed to keep members locked in and paying as long as possible. Management will blatantly lie to members about anything to benefit their bottom line. They will lead you to believe that you are locked into a 6 month contract. In fact, it is an 8 month contract. You have to provide a 60 day notice AFTER you complete the 6 month contract. Or you can pay for the current month, plus an additional $99 but you have to stop using the facility immediately. They put up several roadblocks to stop you from canceling. This is extremely disappointing after you realize you've given this company over $500 and they treat you terribly. Please learn from my mistake and research other gyms in the area. This sauna workout gym is absolutely amazing I have been coming here for almost 3 weeks and I absolutely love it the staff is extremely friendly the facility is very clean and the members and the staff keep it disinfected and they have masks on and they follow all the COVID-19 procedures! Extremely unprofessional and rude. Horrible customer service. I moved over an hour away from this studio and simply wanted to close my account. I was told I had to come in and sign some cancellation agreement. I explained I could sign electronically however I was already living more than an hour away from the studio and it was impossible for me to make that trip just to sign a gym cancellation agreement. The very rude woman said that I would have to make time because there were no exceptions. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She stated that she could take a message but there was no one available to help me. So as of now I still have a membership that I don't need and I'm continuing to be charged. I love this gym not only because I know the owner and she's the best most friendly and helpful person ever but mostly because I can make the most of my workouts in less time. I do the 15 cycle or row cycle and let me tell you it's hard in 125 degree heat! You burn sooooo many calories and feel so good afterwards. I absolutely love Hotworx and am so happy I found it. The staff are really friendly, helpful, and encouraging. It's also a clean, welcoming environment. I've been a member for about 6 months now. The results of the infared sauna workouts are amazing. I've had the best sleep in my life. My energy level has increased. I have more mental clarity and a sense of wellbeing. My anxiety level has lessened. My blood pressure and resting pulse have decreased dramatically. I used to have acne, but not anymore. I've lost inches and dropped 2 dress sizes. Although, I haven't lost any weight; my body has transformed. My abs are more defined and my belly is flatter. I have muscle where fat used to be. I also have greater flexibility and endurance. I attribute this all to the detox I get from being in the sauna, paired with challenging workouts. I'm healthier than ever. My doctor told me to keep doing what I'm doing. I go to Hotworx about 3 to 4 times a week and do one of the 40 minute session and a 15-30 minute row session afterwards. It's great that hotworx sessions are available 24/7 so I can go anytime. The only downside is that the saunas feel crowded if there are 3 people inside, but this place is still 5 stars all the way. I'm a believer in Hotworx...couldn't imagine life without it. read more

I have so loved working out at HotWorx, and I DO NOT ENJOY WORKING OUT AT ALL EVER! Getting a super intense workout in a short amount of time is ideal for someone like me who needs activity in their life and gets little enjoyment from it. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Members have 24 hour access and an app to sign up for classes so it really couldn't be simpler. Additionally, the saunas only fit 2 or 3 people, so it's not that overwhelming group workout atmosphere. Very personal and personable! So far I have tried Pilates, yoga, barre, and cycling. The classes are challenging for sure. My first time was very hard but your body adjusts to the heat and activity with each visit. My only criticism would be for there to be some variety in the videos, with frequent visits it will get a little boring. Additionally, there should be different level options for yoga - beginner to more advanced. read more

Amazing workout, if you are not afraid to sweat! The exercises that are offered are very challenging. It feels like having a virtual personal trainer. You can select the exercises and time from the phone app. It is also a great way to relax and have a peaceful moment.
