Have stayed here a couple of times now in 2025 (Beginning Jan/Feb & now October). We came to scope out the place and discuss plans with the wedding planner. My friend's daughter was getting married and chose this venue. We got upgraded to one of the 2-bedroom villas which was perfect! At that time, it had an outdoor (empty) spa built-in to the deck. Upon arriving back to stay in the same villa, it was now covered & gone with a new deck instead and chairs with a bbq! The view was great for that wake-up morning bask in the sun before starting your day! We stayed for the weekend in October, and the weather could not have been more perfect. This winery/vineyard has many different accommodations for your travels, even if it is not for a wedding!
The staff is super friendly, freshly made free coffee is located in the office with breakfast being served upstairs during the weekend when the chef is available (He was on vacation - during the slow month and we were not able to do a food tasting). Let me tell you though the wedding was anything but spectacular! They see your vision and go beyond. There was a minor issue with the DJ during the wedding but the actual staff of Finca Selah was 5-star! Our waiter for our table was AMAZING; he made sure my son had soda refilled and water as the alcoholic drinks were being served. Very attentive and a wonderful waiter. He was also our waitstaff the next morning for breakfast. The BREAKFAST. SOOOOOOO amazingly delicious. We are in Mexico of course, couldn't have ended the trip with anything better than chilaquiles y cafe!
Room rates are reasonable considering you are in Valle de Guadalupe! Be warned that this location is not on a paved road, although it is "somewhat" off the main highway, you will be on a dirt road to get to this location. It is also near food and Ensenada is a hop skip and jump away if looking to get out of wine country. I would say it is almost in the middle of Tecate and San Ysidro border. Definitely give them a try.
