I wasn't sure what the vents all around my fireplace were about, the fireplace inspection before I bought the house didn't mention them (or that they were part of the fan system that was broken), and the 2nd guy that came out to fix part of the bricks didn't know what they were about. But when I called Southwest Sweepers the woman who got back to me easily told me that they were vents that helped circulate the warm fireplace air into the house, and Curtis was able to find a new fan to replace my broken one, and install the light switch to turn it on & off. In addition to the Groupon, he charged us $175.00 for a total of $220.00. Nate, who claims to own the business, showed up alone with a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels. No ladders, no squeegee, no sponges, no poles...nothing! Needless to say, our window were left smeared and filthy. A half dozen windows weren't even touched. When we requested a refund, he refused but said he would come back with tools. When he showed back up, he had a ladder, but still a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels. It was a horrible experience and I still need my windows cleaned. Steer clear of this disasterous "business".

Upon starting the job he notice a problem with the original plan and made a recommendation to keep the cost down the original plan was to remove the a cool to hook up the vacuum but was not going to be able with out recharging the whole system with R 22. So he recommended to instead to do a different method although not as thorough saved a lot of money. As R 22 is being phased out and a couple of hundred dollars a pound and needing around 5 lbs. All Day was recommended by Angi's and Robert called about my dryer vent and chimney cleaning I was needing. We agreed on a time and when he arrived he was in a car, no ladder and very few tools. He only had the flex rods to stick in the dryer vent with no power tools to spin the cleaning brush. He tried to jam the rods through from bottom and top (using my ladder) but was unable to remove the blockage. Told me he would have to come back another day for the chimney and finish unclogging the dryer vent. I used the dryer after he left and check vent light came on immediately with wet clothes in the dryer. It was clogged worse now as my drawer below my dryer now had water in it I'm assuming from condensation since it couldn't vent at all now. I called and told him what I was seeing (left voicemail) on Friday, the day of service. Monday I received a voicemail telling me his car and truck were both in the shop and he would let me know when he could come back. I called another service company (not through Angi's) and they came out on Tuesday, ran a camera up, found the blockage and had it completely clean in about 25 minutes. Works great and check vent light hasn't come on since. All Day called me back on Wednesday to try and decide when he might be able to come. I told him I had hired another company and it was a done deal now. I wasn't offered a refund so that $125 will have to be a lesson learned.
