Very frustrating experience dealing with Kevin Gomez / FIND Real Estate. Communication was extremely slow and I had to repeatedly ask for basic application information and updates. I felt constantly delayed, ignored, and given inconsistent responses during the process. As a voucher holder, the experience raised serious concerns for me about how applicants are being treated. Out of the many NYC brokers I corresponded with during my apartment hunting process, including those affiliated with OPG and not, Cole Washington of OPG was the only one that felt truly personable, proactive, transparent, and dedicated. I am honestly certain that I wouldn't have been able to secure a rental on my own without his resources and expertise as my budget was on the lower end of the spectrum in an extremely competitive part of Manhattan. We were forced to deal with a broker from OPG (Glenn Lawrence) who was the broker for an apartment that we were interested in. He was rude from the start and highly unprofessional. He couldn't even be bothered to show the unit and sent his associate to do it for him. He failed to submit our application on time and we lost the apartment to someone else. What's worse, he couldn't be bothered to tell us that - we had to go to the building and talk to a manager there to find out that our application was put in late and we did not get the apartment. Rather than apologize when we asked him to refund his application fees, he wrote back "I am going to say this once, I lost this unit as well, it's not just you. I don't rent it, I don't get paid. " So rather than apologize for his mistake, he took a threatening tone and made it about himself losing the commission. I should not be surprised after reading other reviews about Glenn and OPG -- there is a pattern of threatening clients and other unprofessional conduct. read more

If I could leave Zero Stars, I would! Oxford has poorly trained real estate agents who do not understand the basics. I have my apartments to a broker to list. The agent did not understand that they could not just change the rent without my permission I reached out to the brokerage to speak to the supervising broker. No one answers the phone. You are instructed to send an email in which I received a response with no name. It was clearly written by AI. I asked for a phone call. They never called! I fired the agent. Do not use Oxford!! Update 6/17/2024 I got another response from their AI. It's referred to me as "lady" and "Mrs.Karen"? Even though I have provided them with my name. Please do not use Oxford. read more

Al Chen (one of the brokers of Oxford Property Group) is the most UNETHICAL people I have ever worked for. He didn't clean the apartment during the 3 months it was vacant before I moved in. There was BLACK MOLD and DIRT EVERYWHERE. Pictures attached. Took me over 3 days to clean. He wouldn't even offer to reduce any rent either once I told him I wasn't able to sleep in the apartment and lost time. Bill Victolee was incredibly helpful in our search for an apartment. My husband and I moved from out-of-state, and we were doing the apartment search while my husband was traveling for work. Bill not only made sure that he found apartments that met (and exceeded!) our criteria, but he consistently kept me and my husband both up-to-date, helping to communicate gaps when long meetings made it difficult for us to touch base with each other.
