Almost every glass point was damaged-before
    Beverly D.

I can't recommend Fine Art Restoration and Henri enough!! If I could give his business 10 stars, I would!! I had a 100yr old lead crystal punch bowl, a family heirloom that was shipped to me. The shipping company did such a poor job, I was just heartbroken hearing broken glass as I opened the box. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had no idea glass could be repaired. I did an internet search and found Fine Art Restoration. I sent photos of the damage and broken pieces and Henri said he would take the project on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I cannot express my elation when I saw the finished product. Is it 100%, no. But you have to look extremely closely for the repairs to "find" them. If the viewer didn't know it was broken, they never would. Before I met Henri, I thought the punch bowl was destroyed and my only option was to throw it in the garbage. Thank God I in trusted Henri and Fine Art Restoration.

    Before, with the missing piece

I purchased a giant vintage perfume bottle (over 20 inches tall!) from an estate sale that had a chunk of glass missing from the rim. Found Henri while searching online for someone who could do glass repair. When I brought in the piece, he assessed it and told me how he would rebuild the missing piece. He explained to me because it was glass, it might not be ENTIRELY seamless, and was thorough and honest. As you can tell, the result looks great to me! He even made the texture of the missing area look and feel like the rest of the piece. Unless you were REALLY looking for it, you would not be able to tell this was a repair. The bottle looks wonderful and I'm very happy! On top of the great work, Henri was friendly, great with communication, and did the work within the timeframe. His studio, located in the flower district downtown, is also super interesting because you can see the other work he's working on. If I have anything else I need to have repaired, I will be coming back!

I brought in 2 wooden busts - one had a broken headpiece and the other was missing a portion of the earlobe. As seen from the photo, Henri did an amazing job. The repairs were seamless and he did a great job refinishing the surfaces. I would definitely recommend Henri at Fine Art Restoration.

Henri was the perfect person to tackle the project I had for him. I came to him with what seemed to be an impossible repair and he completely exceeded my expectations. I would recommend him over and over again to anyone looking to repair their artwork.

Bought this piece sealed and it was broken out of the box, a common issue for this piece that it breaks at the left hand wrist.

I am absolutely pleased with the quality work Fine Art Restoration did with my collectible statue. He was able to fix, and reinforce, the statue in places he found were lacking in quality originally. Would go back to him for any issues I have with collectibles in the future. I was so happy to see this statue whole.

Needed an art restorer for a family heirloom. Got some references from well meaning folks and found Henri at Fine Art Restoration on Yelp. Now the ceramic piece needing repairs wasn't in "horrible" shape, but well beyond my capabilities with super glue and tweezers. Sent Henri photos of the damage which he reviewed and gave me a basic understanding of the material and repairs needed. Set an appointment with Henri who inspected the piece and discussed his background in art restoration. After a closer review, Henri quoted what I believe was a fair price, then he used his expertise to recommend a custom made stand for our piece, rather than the acrylic breadboard we were using Fast forward approximately 6 weeks, I was able to pick up our horseman today. I am unable to discern where the original breaks were. The color match is perfect and the stand ideal. In speaking with Henri, he stated that he gets a great sense of pride when he is able to restore works of art. Henri's craftsmanship is appreciated and will be on full display in my home for generations

    After restoration.

I am beyond pleased with the results of my restored statue. I never imagined that it would turn out so perfect. It looks so natural as if it was never broken. Henri is TRULY talented. I will be forever grateful.

This cat's a family treasure. My mother first gave it to her boss back in the Sixties. Some twenty or thirty years later, her boss sent it back to her as she wanted her to have "Francis." Its feet were broken in transit, but my mother was able to glue them back on. She and my dad are now downsizing, and she gave the cat to me as I've always liked it. Within mere weeks, I somehow knocked it over and broke it into several pieces. Feeling just terrible, I first attempted to fix the cat myself but quickly gave up and decided to seek a professional. I searched online and contacted eight different professional art restorers, each of whom responded to my query. I decided to go with Henri Laborde of Fine Art Restoration (fixfineart.com) who does ceramic, porcelain, and glass repairs and restoration. Dealings with Henri were professional and transparent: he offered me a couple of repair options at fair prices. I just received my package, and as the pictures attest, Francis looks as good as new, Henri having fixed both the original and subsequent breaks. I'm both relieved and delighted. Henri does exquisite work--reach out to him today to restore your treasure to its original beauty!

    Broken Porcelain Dog

When my mother passed away, she had 3 porcelain dogs she bought over 40 years ago. These dogs made it through 3 moves, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren without a scratch. When we moved her things from her home, the large dog broke. I contacted Fine Art Restoration, hoping it could be fixed. I didn't think it could, and was stunned when I received the beautifully finished piece. Henri is truly a restorative master! I can't thank him enough!
