It really does feel like a patient/ money factory that they're putting you through. Yes, they will do all the tests and you will pay for each of them, but they won't follow up or recommend solutions. They told my wife twice that they would call her to discuss results after 4:00, but of course he never called. Truly sad after paying thousands just to be seen and tested. I hate going to the doctor and have never really had a relationship with a primary care physician - one who knows you, understands your history, and is able to connect the dots when maybe you can't. Dr. Sue is that doctor - after a referral from a friend a couple of years ago, I have chosen to stay with Dr. Sue despite changes in insurance and moves around the city. He's easy to talk to, non-judgmental, and retains a shocking amount of your history (even when you don't necessarily go in regularly). Not only would I recommend him to anyone as a PCP, but I am honestly grateful to have such a great doctor.

When I say not a lot of doctors take the time to see you but Dr. Magner is different he is the best I would not trust no one else but him. He kept me calm before surgery when I was crying because I was scared he assured me that would be OK and that he was by me the whole time. He is God sent and I'm so glad my prayers were answered. He's professional, calm, funny, and patient -- all things you want in a doctor. I asked him if he'd done a "bazillion" of these kinds of surgeries and yes, I was bazillion and one. Heck, he even held my hand in the surgery room until I went under (cause I was being a big cry baby all the sudden, thanks nerves). But I had NOTHING to worry about. The scars he leaves behind may be small, but his impact is huge. Oh, and the pre and post care is incredible, his staff answer any questions via email and are on top of it all. Couldn't have done this without their guidance. Do everything they tell you and you'll be FINE! Run, do not walk... or maybe don't run, I don't know what your health situation is, but do not hesitate to put your health in Dr. Magner's care. I've been to many different orthos, in an attempt to find "my" doctor on both the east coast and west coast. I can say without a doubt that I am extremely glad to have found Dr. Cooper. He is a gem. I'm very on top of my health, as well as still *very* active and appreciate being giving everything straight--and that's exactly how Dr Cooper does things. He approaches care from a very personalized angle, not a one size fits all. He takes time with his patients and never makes me feel rushed. My first surgery him was very easy and recovery has been much easier than I expected. Both he and his staff are very kind, as well. I suspect that Dr Cooper may be Dr Snibbe's eventual replacement at Docs Health and honestly..if that is the case, well deserved (maybe I'm wrong!) What makes Dr. Cooper extraordinary, is not only his ability to hear what a patient is telling him, but he truly absorbs what was said. I have a medical case that's like hitting a doctor over the head with a brick -- the information is shocking and it hurts. Over the years, it's frustrating to meet new doctors because I hate going through the 'getting to know you phase' when I desperately need help with something. I've long ago burned out on repeating the same facts (that don't even interest me) over and over again. I met Dr. Cooper because I had hurt my knee when I was walking a pitbull that I was fostering (the dog saw a squirrel and lept one way and my knee went the other). At first, understandably, Dr. Cooper was surprised by what I was saying about my medical history -- this is a normal reaction, my case is 1 in a million situation, so it's normal for a doctor to take a second to adjust their thinking when I'm talking with them. What was extraordinary about Dr. Cooper: the day of the surgery Dr. Cooper brought a new PA in the room to meet me (the PA was also very nice, I can't remember her name.) Then **magic** unfolded before me -- as I laid in the gurney, I listened to Dr. Cooper explain my medical case to the PA with complete attention to detail -- everything from the results of the imaging and bloodwork, then intertwined all of that medical information with my clinical history and atypical presentation, explaining why we were doing what we were doing. In my entire career as a patient -- it goes back a few years -- I don't think I had ever heard a physician pick up all the information I throw at them -- rapid fire -- so quickly, process it, implement into their practice, then kindly -- compassionately -- share my medical case with another medical professional in a language both them, and I, could understand. It was truly one of the most incredible moments of my medical life. I wish I could bottle up the feeling I felt listening to Dr. Cooper, and save it for the days of excruciating loneliness and isolation I feel when I'm talking with doctors who dismiss what I'm saying (because the information doesn't make sense to them) or run away in fear. Dr. Cooper is truly one of the most talented, gifted, and kind physicians I've ever had a chance to meet. The overall experience at the doctor office was alright, but the staff who works there probably weren't interested in helping. Doctor was very nice and helpful. But the staff... To get a prescription it's was a total nightmare for me. The receptionist was telling me that she sent the prescription several times , but my pharmacy never received anything and they had to call several times to request it. Long story short eventually I have to request the actual prescription so I can do it myself. I was in pain for a week in a half. Also, doctor said I need to get colonoscopy and that I need to schedule it myself by emailing the doctor or she maybe will contact me myself. I emailed several times to the email that receptionist provided me, no response, I called left two messages , haven't received a call back. I called again a day ago and finally spoke with her. She advised that email is no longer valid ‍ Also she has a waitlist going on and if I don't have cancer it might be take a month or longer during Covid situations , which is understandable. But turn after linger conversation, I found out maybe it will be a week and she hasn't even requested an authorization yet. I asked her why and she said " well it's not urgent " I'm not sure what that means , but I'm in pain for few weeks already and can't even get a medicine either. While writing a review I received a call from receptionist if I want to be on a waitlist for a procedure and if I received the prescription ( that I need to bring myself (9 times walking to a pharmacy)) She said she doesn't know what's been going on , but maybe it's an error on pharmacy end. From my personal experience worth CVS pharmacy in West Hollywood they were pretty amazing about receiving prescription from different doctors for me and never had issues. I think I would trust a pharmacy then a doctor's office. Because it was more errors on their end. Probably after this review they might remove me from a list , but I'm hopeful and hopefully they will keep on the list. I'm not sure if I want to go through this experience again, where staff doesn't really care about patients.
