i was looking for a decent barber around the suburbs. I usually just get a fade and a trim, my go to guy's name is mike, my haircut from him did progressively get worse each time i got there. But at the same time telling him i just want a fade/cut is my blame since i didnt give clear cut instructions on the size of taper, etc (1/2 inch, 1 in) -so make sure to know exactly what you want and you'll likely get. the atmosphere is very modernized underground vibe but i love it, it's kept tidy and fresh. at all times throughout the day, i would say it's generally packed so make an appt for a specific barber. their chairs/barbers are usually full but ask since there's usually one or two barbers available to take you right away. reg cut is $18, cash no additional charge but credit card transactions will tackle an additional $2. parking is not an issue, it's located in a plaza so can't miss it. read more

I bring my son here to see Ibran. LOVE him. He always does a great job with his fades. I also like that he's somewhat quiet so he doesn't get distracted by the conversations going on around him. My son hated haircuts, but he likes Ibran too so he doesn't complain about it as much as he did in the past :) Place is clean and depending on the time, it can be busy. I always make appointments. They take walk ins, but I don't like sitting around, especially on weekends. read more

Best place to get a haircut in town. Been going to the same person for over eight years now. These guys know what they're doing. Walkens or by appointment available. Easy parking and the venues clean with TV's, music, and a football table to keep the kids entertained. I always feel like a new man whenever I leave with a new haircut! read more

Originally had appointment for 2 pm today which I called three days ago to change to 330 and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Waited 30 minutes for my appointment that was supposed to be at 330, was finally asked at 350 if I was waiting on someone and then nothing. I left at 4 with no haircut. Not pleased. read more

Thoroughly modern barber shop with classic style cues. Clean, open and sleek interior with 10+ chairs available. This was my second visit, this time on a Saturday at 4pm. Nearly all of the chairs were full, but I didn't have to wait. The owner, john, welcomed me and immediately directed me to the available barber and his open chair. The barber (whose name escapes me) used trimmers, scissors, and a straight razor to give me a clean, contemporary haircut in 30 min for $18 (before tip.) I gladly tipped generously and look forward to my next visit. read more

I sent a friend of mine to this barbershop because I had went there personally since my original barber was not available at the time and was desperate for a haircut. Although I received an "okay" experience my first time, I thought it was good enough to recommend. Well, apparently upon asking my friend how his experience was, he wasn't happy at all. The barber named Martin left during the middle of my friend's haircut for 10 min and came back smelling like Marijuana. When asked if he went to smoke , Martin's reply was "yeah, since you came in earlier than you were supposed to, i felt the need to go smoke to use the time that I would have if you came in when you were expected." First off, this is highly unprofessional and unacceptable, second, my friend came in 5 min earlier than the scheduled time, and third Martin started cutting his hair high. Normally I wouldn't give a damn as a lot of barbers are high when they cut hair, including my personal barber, but Martin did a sloppy job and my friend says he never finished blending in his fade in the back and became lazy as the time went on. I never want anyone to lose their job especially since everyone has bad days, but it appears that this man has no professional courtesy. Dude needs to be reprimanded or let go. read more

Great first haircut, the barber took almost 45 minutes to give me a first class cut. The second visit it only took him 15 minutes to do a so so job. On both occasions I was by far the oldest customer. Thinking that it might be a little age discrimination I called and asked the barber if he had some reluctance cutting seniors hair. He assured me that wasn't the case and that I should remind him who I was and he would take good care of me. Ok so the next time I got the royal treatment. Beard eyebrows whatever I wanted. 15-20 minutes passed and I got a good haircut. Next time we were back to a 10 minute rush half ass haircut. The talking to and the tip apparently doesn't matter but something about me does matter. Age, too small a tip, fact that I find it unprofessional to be sharing pictures and conversations on their phones with one another as I sit there ,I really don't care anymore. read more

To be honest, this place is terrible. The lady completely messed up my hair, barely asked any questions about what she should do, and pretty much didn't listen to a word I said. They seem very unprofessional. The whole time the barbers just basically yell at each other across the shop. Every thirty seconds the lady cutting my hair had to stop just to laugh at what the other barbers were talking about. I found that to be very rude and it seemed like they didn't value my time whatsoever. If you're in desperate need of an immediate haircut, then go here, otherwise please look elsewhere and do your hair and wallet a favor. The place was very clean, I'll give them that, but the customer service and the overall experience was not good. If you want to take your kid for an $18 haircut, this is the place. But if you're a guy and looking for a quality haircut and/or shave for around $25, go somewhere else. Other places I've gone to do much more for the same price. For example: wash your hair, put product in it, put on preshave lotion/oil, etc. My face/neck started breaking out because the lady used a straight razor on my face and neck without applying a hot towel or any preshave lotion, causing the skin to get irritated and very itchy. I am not trying to be mean here, but the service could be a lot better and the prices could also be better, considering the minimal effort they put in. In the end, I am definitely not going back and will not recommend this place to anyone else. Hopefully they fix their customer service a bit in the near future. read more
