However, a friend of mine went and had a pedicure and her toes and feet looked beautiful and professionally done. So, I decided I would go a 40 minute drive and give it a try. Maria was available...and lets just say, thank God Maria was available!!! Maria, is not only gracious, shes beautiful and does an incredible job! It was an excellent experience from start to end and I really wish it didn't end…read more The room we originally had was right on top of heavily powered generators that are outside and since I'm an extremely light sleeper, I started worrying that I would not be able to sleep well at all. I expressed my concern with the front desk, and the gal there (didn't catch her name, but she had blonde hair) did not even hesitate and said "I got you!" She switched us to a nicer room in a quiet corner since they had availability and it made ALL the difference. I slept well and enjoyed my entire visit. We played ping pong, they have bocce ball courts, tried to ride bikes (we need more practice), corn hole and some axe throwing / bullseye game. They also had fire pits, lots of outdoor seating and water fountains galore; definitely added to the peaceful ambiance. Of course we came for the mineral pool and showers, but it was a nice surprise to find these other activities. Overall, we will be back and will ask for the quiet corner we were given. 5 out of 5 stars!

I came to find out that the wine taster never showed. Customer Service Texting: Love that they have CS texting, they are very responsive and informative about things going on including how to check out. Room: (4 Stars) Bed: comfortable, good quality, high off the ground Pillows: 2 per person Night Stands: Space for tech and water, both sides had USB plugs Bed Lightning: individual reading lights on each side of the bed Extra Seating: 2 chairs and small table Mini fridge: plenty of room for your stuff Outside bathroom mirrors: full length on the closet door The in-room AC unit was very loud and doesn't turn off automatically after the temperature is reached. The posted House Rules are sensible, but enforcement is inconsistent. Pool manager Claire frequently singles us out (phone use today, our daughter with pool noodles, snacks/drinks placement) while other kids build slides out of floats and noodles. She also overlooks shouting, rough play, and other prohibited behaviors. Other staff don't enforce these rules. We support fair rules for everyone's comfort and safety. When applied unevenly by one person, it detracts from the relaxing experience. We hope management retrains the team on consistent enforcement and hospitality so we can continue visiting regularly. The retro fridge was a nice touch and it was great to have mirrors in the bathroom and the bedroom. Different temperatures in each pool means you can find the one that feels right for you -- and for the outside temperature. We really enjoyed the 95* pool for the daytime and the 104* pool was great at night. The loungers in the main pool area were great for reading, though I wish they had the same kinds of chairs in the adult-only area. We also had massages, which were really nice and relaxing. We can't wait to go back!

When you enter the lobby, you will be brought to the locker rooms and given a key for your locker. There are 2 restrooms and a shower. After locking up your belongings you will proceed to the waiting area where you will be greeted by your therapist. There are 2 pools in the family area and a jacuzzi. There is one adult pool, nextdoor. I would have loved to give this spa 5 stars, but the steam room was under construction and there isn't an entry from the spa to the pool area. The pools are in the center of the hotel property. Also disappointed that the spa robes don't have pockets.
