We asked where to go for the service. And instead of going behind reception to the salon rooms, we were sent back out the door to the salon, up a few flights of stairs inside an old apartment building. When we got to the piles of black garbage bags stacked in the hallway, the door to the spray room was to the right. There's a tiny, shabby waiting room, if you can call it that, and a janky storage room/janitor closet. Plus, the woman getting sprayed had left her stuff all over the one chair, open handbag and everything. The tan itself didn't really look like much, except on my face, which was really dark. But everywhere else you couldn't really notice it. So, nope. Would not recommend. PS: If this review convinces you to go here, be prepared to get totally nay-nay except for disposable paper undies.

She took the time to talk through different shapes with me -- it turns out I like the straight shape look -- and showed me how I could get there with a growth encouragement product at home. Rosana showed such incredible expertise too, drawing out the symmetrical lines I should strive for to achieve the look I wanted. I absolutely appreciated the time she took to make my appointment successful. They have good covid measures in place too right now, with a temperature check at the door, a big jug of hand sanitizer on the front desk, and masks required all around. I'd be happy to go back to see Rosana again.

She makes sure you are very comfortable and her station is immaculate. Important to me as I am not so comfortable with the expense of lash extensions (anywhere) but if I am paying this much I need to be happy. I have to add also that the receptionist, Alyssa (who was there from the Livingston location) is an absolute doll to work with on the phone and in person. Instead of upselling me, she exclaimed, "Oh! Your lashes are great! We'll just do a lift and tint - and that will be better because you'll be in a humid tropical environment in the water all day every day". This kind, honest person saved me $150+ in cost, and was thoroughly sure I will not look like a demon troll on vacation in every photo. In our session, she did a fantastic job talking me through the process to ensure I understood what the steps were and how things were going to go/feel. This was my first time and I was expecting it to have a bit of a higher lift, so I know going forward there's some language I can use to explain how my eyelashes usually get curled and what I'd hope to replicate with a lift.

Now the reason why they lost 3 stars. I went there for a Brazilian wax. During the session, even though I paid for a Brazilian, she kept trying to get me to do a bikini wax instead (maybe less work for her?) and I had to refuse multiple times. After the appointment, and when I was about to leave, she said she would charge me an extra $15 because my hair was coarse and she did the back (which is what a Brazilian is). For me it is the principle of things and the way she went about it. She never mentioned it or said anything during the wax and waited till I was about to leave. I was very upset with that.

I had the WORST blow dry experience. This place doesn't deserve even one star. This person hurt my…read morescalp. She was very rough and aggressive. She didn't pin the hair in sections. She pulled the hair from the root and it was a tangled mess. It took 2 hours to dry my hair and I had to leave and go to another salon to get it fixed. My scalp still hurts. I lost so much hair. I will never go back to this salon. The woman should be fired. My hair is damaged, dry and brittle. The salon should be shut down.
