You'll get to know Hector, the proprietor, as soon as you walk in. He seems to know everyone in town and you'll soon enjoy talking to him too. (He's an expert on sports by the way.) He keeps the shop in great shape and continually upgrades both the barber chairs and the seating if you need to wait. He pays attention to your needs whatever your style. Not a single stylist has been able to give me a good blowout. Every single visit ends the same way: disappointment. My hair never looks right, the blowouts are sloppy, rushed, and nothing like what Drybar is known for. I only continued going because the location is convenient, but convenience does not justify wasting money on a service that is this poorly done. At this point, I'm fully planning on canceling my membership. I also wait every time despite having an appointment. Watching employees sit in the back eating or hanging out while clients wait is beyond frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. The way they handle hair is honestly unacceptable. I've never experienced so much aggressive pulling and yanking during a blowout anywhere else. It's painful. Their shampoo and conditioner also completely knot my hair, which just leads to even more rough handling and discomfort. For the price you pay, this experience is unacceptable. Drybar is supposed to feel like a luxury service, and this location delivers the exact opposite.
