I purchased a chair specifically for my 90-year-old father and paid for it, only to be told AFTER the purchase that the chair wasn't actually in stock. Instead of simply fixing the problem, I was sent back and forth and ultimately had to change my order to a more expensive chair. The entire process was confusing, frustrating, and handled terribly. What really made it worse was doing some research afterward and finding the SAME chair elsewhere for about HALF the price. Between selling me something they apparently didn't have available, pushing me into a more expensive replacement, the constant back-and-forth, and the terrible customer service, I completely lost trust in this company. I felt like I was given one story after another instead of straightforward answers. And keep in mind, this wasn't some unnecessary purchase -- I was trying to get a chair for my 90-year-old father. The last thing I expected was to be put through this kind of hassle. Terrible customer service and an extremely disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend comparing prices and checking actual availability elsewhere before purchasing from Jerome's Furniture.

We really wanted a cloth sectional with a wedge (instead of a 90 degree corner) and sectionals with wedges seem to only come in leather with recliners on the ends and built in cup holders which I don't like. Then, I randomly stumbled into Roger's furniture and met Sebastian who was super easy to work with and also has good taste in furniture planning IMO. After checking out the sectionals at the store and better understanding our needs, Sebastian worked with us to build a custom sectional (5-hours of debating the details and selecting fabrics!!!) that was just a few modifications on what a standard sectional would be. We took delivery of the sectional today and absolutely love it! And, the sectional was built locally too. If you have an idea of what sofa/sectional you'd like, go to Roger's and talk to Sebastian. Honestly, the price wasn't that much higher than options we saw at the major stores and we got a CUSTOM sectional. Check out my new sectional and support local businesses!

Came in looking for an 8inch box spring…read more- the only available one they had in stock yesterday was the room floor display or place an order for a later arrival. in our current situation we needed one same day, he let us thoroughly inspect it and offered to cosmetically adjust the cloth for us at no extra charge. additionally price comparison to nearby furniture store was unbeatable! only downside at the end of the service we came back to pick it up, walked in at 4:50 and was greeted by a lady she immediately said that it would be ready by 5 and they would bring it out to our car, as we turned around to exit the store she turned off all lights before we could get out. maybe she had a long day but as paying customers it felt a bit disrespectful.
