We seriously considered disposing the car, but amazingly this big, heavy, complex part showed up for $95 SHIPPED on EBay with great reviews. Now the problem was to find a shop to install this complex part (hint: it holds the engine up, and attaches every which way to the frame and struts(?)). Well, the next day we picked our car up ready to drive again, the charge was for 4.5 hours of shop time. This seems more than fair in a world of rusted bolts, missing pieces, potential (major) alignment issues, and many potential complications! Car is driving without any hit of alignment issues even at 70 and even 80mph. So we are happy, and we are looking to work with Leon's to find just the right used car in the future, now at our leisure, because her car is safe again. In fact, I am so happy, I might just let them work on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler that has a growing list of "restoration" projects. Finally, it is nice, and perhaps rare, to find a single shop that does mechanical work as well body work.
