Terrible. From trying to establish an appointment for service all the way through the service itself - terrible. Gandrud charged me for a brake inspection. I was told my front brakes only had 4mm of pad left. Clearly they never removed the wheels to perform the inspection. When I took my vehicle to Kiley's Preble Motors for a second opinion, it was discovered that my front brakes had 10mm of pad left. For shame, Gandrud!!! Furthermore, it was difficult and frustrating to use Gandrud's automated service scheduling system. Don't patronize this establishment: they are terrible at customer service and they are terrible at performing service. read more

I bought an LS-3 crate engine from GMPerformanceMotor.com, a.k.a. Gandrud Chevrolet. Total price including shipping was the best in the nation. However: * The ship date slipped quite a bit; Gandrud never gave me any updates on what was going on. * A buying incentive I thought would be automatic (a free 6-pack of synthetic oil) was instead "By request only." * A meaningful rebate also turned into a problem because Gandrud didn't send me an invoice until the engine shipped - after the rebate expired! * The instructions with the crate engine leave A LOT to be desired. Chevrolet seems to depend on their dealers to fill in the information gaps. I've asked maybe a dozen questions, and gotten useable answers to about half. Recently, I asked a question three times, and only got questions back. Image if you asked the size of a trailer hitch, and instead of "2 inches" the answer was "what type of trailer are you using?" - repeatedly! I will much more heavily weigh the quality of available support before selecting the source of my next GM crate engine. read more

Went to get new tires put on. Was told it was 100 dollars. NBD. Then 2 hours later they said I have to pay another 140 for the beads to get put in to balance my tires. Firstly, they should have known I needed them so why was I not told about it before hand? They said since they are larger tires I need them and they don't have them in stock. So a Chevy dealership that probably has multiple lifted trucks come in weekly doesn't have a common part on hand? Secondly, 140 dollars for them?! They said it was 35 a bag but a bag is 7.49 so they are up pricing each bag 27 dollars?! I said just forget it and put the old tires back on and they said it'll cost more to put the old ones on so I had no choice but to pay way more than what I was originally told. Repair time is extremely long at Gandrud. Brought my car in on a pre-scheduled appointment for the installation of four (4) new replacement tires. They knew I was waiting for the work to be completed and it took 3-HOURS!!!!! If you need new tires and your time is important....your better off going elsewhere! Screwed my kid what more can you say about a dealership that takes advantage of young adults JUNK

If I could give a zero star, I would. I bought my van on November 19th. Called and told them about a few issues that I came across 3 days after the purchase. Transmission issues that we were unable to notice during a test drive, front end issues that also didn't show during the test drive. At first they worked with us on these issues. Now, I have had 3 different transmissions put in, 4 different struts installed on the same side. Sway-bar links replaced twice and I have only owned the vehicle for 7 months. I have spent more than 40 hours in their waiting room with multiple children with me. I have had to have a loaner van on 4 separate occasions. Today I was told tough luck, you just happen to get faulty parts for everything you have had done to it. And there is nothing more we can do. I questioned the odds of getting 4 faulty struts, since there were aftermarket and OEM out in there on different occasions. I also asked what the odds are that I get 3 faulty transmissions. I'm not a mechanic but I did have to bring it in 4 different times, before I got the first new transmission, telling them that something is wrong with the transmission for them to send me on my way 3 of those times saying nothing is wrong. On the 4th visit they finally told me I need a new transmission. That was only the first transmission. I am completely disgusted with Gandrude. I will never he back. What a terrible way to run a business. We have many years of buying vehicles ahead of us. I could really go on more about the issues but these are the big ones that sums up our experience. I hope people take this review into consideration, I'm not usually one to write reviews, especially bad ones. read more

I came here for the best service and peace of mind but was massively disappointed. They charged me 300 dollars just for looking at my car and stated that my car needed 4,500 dollars worth of repairs. I took it to another certified mechanic and was informed that my car was in great shape and didn't need the repairs Gandrud proposed at all. I tried to get a refund for the wrong diagnostic on my car and customer service was very rude during that process and wouldn't give it to me. This will be the last time I give them my business. I suggest you find another mechanic unless you want to get ripped off or lied to. read more

My 2017 Chevy volt was initially to be done Feb 17th. I called and tried to talk to Julie on Monday the 20th. I was told she was on the phone with someone else and then she would call me back. So, then I called in the afternoon calling for Julie and she got on the phone and said she called and left a voicemail for me before she went to lunch. I said I didn't receive that call. She says well I'm sorry your phone's not working. She said then said she called Friday and left a voicemail. I said I did not receive that. She said again I'm sorry your phone wasn't working. I was not at all happy with Julie's response. I doubt I will be using Gandrud collision for any repairs in the future because of my experience with Julie and the lack of detail for the collision center repair. After a few days picking up my car from the collision center, something didn't seem right with the left front tire. It didn't look perpendicular to the ground. I also noticed that my infotainment center screen protector was damaged and scratched. Had to have happened when the windshield was broken then replaced during the repairs by the collision center. Because it was not damaged before they worked on my car as I just installed the screen protector. I wasn't happy they didn't mention the damage and didn't tell me about it. I made an appointment with Ryan from service on March 20th to get it looked at. The camber was off from a bent strut. It was not corrected during the first alignment check, he did not know why. Thursday March 23rd Ryan was able to get me in and swap out the strut. The alignment still came that the camber was still off a little bit. Ryan had to order more parts. Now that the left strut has been replaced, I hear a humming noise in the left front of the car which used to be silent. Ryan had his mechanic take my car for a drive and the mechanic also noticed the sound. They replaced the steering knuckle and another part and would see how that affected the noise. Julie had to file two supplemental claims to my insurance company for the additional parts and service after repairs were supposedly completed. Finally, my car has been taken care of and it's no longer making noise and it's properly aligned. I don't understand why the replacement hub wasn't charged to the collision damage repair. Instead, it was charged to my extended warranty. What would have happened if I didn't have an extended warranty? The hub should have been replaced as well as the strut, steering knuckle, and whatever other part that was replaced the first time while the collision center had my car. It took me an additional three appointments, hours of waiting in the waiting room to finally have it straightened out and working as it used to. I was disappointed how the collision center handled everything. And I'm still left with a damaged infotainment screensaver. I just hope the frame of the infotainment center isn't scratched. Ryan had a great attitude and finally got my car back in operating condition. The replaced new left front tire has some feathering because of the alignment issue. Hopefully that won't decrease the tire mileage very much. The last visit because the left front was still making noise Ryan from service replaced the left front wheel hub as it was the last piece of the suspension. Fortunately, Ryan said they had it in stock and he was going to get it installed. I was happy I didn't need to come back another time for the part to come in. I asked why the alignment problem wasn't caught before and he didn't know why it wasn't. Thank you, Ryan. I'm glad to put this bad experience of the collision center behind me. Service manager Bris White texted me from the collision center if I wasn't completely satisfied with my recent visit on March 15th. I texted her back the same day with what happened and never heard back from her not that she would be able to do anything after the fact. I would not recommend Gandrud Collision center. read more

Just a warning to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and expect to receive poor and unprofessional customer service and to be scammed with their extended warranties. We purchased a 2016 Cadillac Escalade 2 years ago (won't give the purchase price, but one can guess, not an inexpensive used vehicle). I should have seen the red flags with the customer service prior to traveling 4 hours away to purchase it. We should have also perhaps walked away when there were a couple of minor mechanical issues with it when we arrived to finalize the sale. The finance manager that we worked with was very nice and seemed, at the time, to have our best interest when finding the right financing and warranties. Until we realized recently that we were coned. We were sold an extended warranty that was explained to us was a Platinum bumper to bumper warranty for an additional 72000 or 72 months for $3300. We bought the vehicle with 47481 original miles on it which was low. We always take the extended warranties out and they have all been good for 100,000 total miles or more. Here he misled us to believe we would be good for an additional 72 months or up to 119,000 miles. This was not the case. The warranty was only good for up to 72,000 or 72 months from brand new. We have NEVER had an extended warranty like this. We both even commented that it will be nice not to worry about issues for the duration of owning the vehicle, since we keep them for about 5-6 years. The finance manager never corrected us or explained that the warranty was only going to really last us 2-3 years. The contract is even written to be misleading to look as if you are good for an additional 72,000 or 72 months. We certainly will take the blame for not doing our due diligence for reading the fine print and looking at the warranty a little closer. We had several issues with this vehicle after 30 days of purchase, but could never get anyone from Gandrud to address them. When trying to figure the issues out and our warranty concerns Ganrud would not return calls when messages were left. I finally requested to talk to the GM and instead of listening to how we've had several issues with this vehicle since we purchased it, how the warranty was written up, how his employee misled us, and the poor customer service we received and hoping that we could come to some kind of agreement (since it wasn't like we bought a $5000 used car). He had the same poor unprofessional customer service attitude, nothing to help resolve any of the issues. We will never buy or refer anyone to this dealership or any Gandrud dealership and I will continue to warn people online, social media, BBB, and anywhere else I can. read more

Went in to resolve an issue with the emission system on my vehicle. I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half. After one hour, an advisor came to me to discuss any other issues and apparently they needed more time to diagnose the problems with my vehicle. I was told it may take another hour or 2 and they asked me if I wanted a ride home, which I agreed to. My main advisor told me that he would be back to let me know when and if the shuttle was ready. Another 2 hours go by and still no update or no shuttle. Finally I go up to the cashier to get some kind of update and then 30 minutes later my advisor finally comes up. He then asks me that "oh they didn't take you home?" Umm obviously not because I was waiting to hear if the shuttle can take me home or not. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SEVICE and communication skills. Been dealing with this dealership ever since I got my vehicle 3 years ago and never had this big an issue until now. The other advisor, she didn't even go over in detail the issues early on or to even mention that I had an extended warranty. This location is NOT professional and I would NOT recommend coming here unless you REALLY HAVE TO. They had no common courtesy or even an apology for putting me through this incident that could have been avoided. read more

Stopped at Gandrud to test drive a couple SUVs. It was easy to Find a sales person when I needed one but they didn't swarm me the minute I drive in, which I really appreciate. The sales person took the time to ask me some questions about what I was looking for and didn't waste my time showing me things I didn't want. Although my husband was with me, the salesman knew the SUV was for me So he directed his questions to me which I also appreciated. He did ride with us which I don't like but he had no problem letting me drive where I wanted and didn't restrict how long the test drive was. I like the selection of SUVs at Gandrud and would recommend them as a dealership, I am not reviewing their cars, just the dealership. read more

A classic scam effort-- assume a female knows nothing about her car. While I appreciated a decently priced quote for the brake pad service I wanted, received and paid for, I was called mid-way through the service to be informed the right axle seal was leaking trans fluid. The service tech was happy to take care of that right away with an extra $328.41 on my bill. I said no, thank you. Got a second opinion from another mechanic who found nothing wrong with the seal, no leak and no difference in trans fluid levels. Re-checked the fluid levels a week later, still showing no loss of fluid. The first and last time I use Gandrud for car repairs. read more

Jared is a fabulous salesman. Scott is a snake. Worked with Scott....manipulative and way....over paid. He wouldn't sell me a $42,000 vehicle with a full tank of gas. Scott insisted on riding in the back seat for the test drive. This was offensive because they only do this if they do not trust you. I bought the vehicle anyway. He actually argued with me through several phone calls and settled for half tank. Jared is wonderful. Bought 3 cars from him. No B.S. so much fun to joke around with. I was very disappointed with my service experience today. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and asked to have a code checked for a light that was on. The wait was unpleasant mainly due to a dog that whined the whole time in the waiting room. When I was texted to come to the cashier I paid my bill and was told to walk over to the service advisor to discuss the code. I did this and the advisor couldn't have been more unpleasant or less helpful. She didn't looked me in the eye, greet me or come close to smiling. She had no idea what the code meant and only offered that it would not be looked at today. She was obviously put off by my even being there. If you need an oil change and tire rotation and you purchase your tires at Gandrud, do the services separately or you will get ripped off. They charged me for the combination oil change/tire rotation package for $ 49.95 when I should have either been charged for just an oil change with a note of a zero charge for the tire rotation or charged $49.95 with a deduction for the tire rotation, which is at least $17, according to their current special. I tried to get this corrected and they blamed it on some price transition from 2018 to 2019. It was total BS. Not my idea of customer service by ripping off good customers. When I purchased my vehicle, I purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty with the condition I bring my vehicle to Gandrud for routine maintenance, so I'm kind of stuck to continue to bring my vehicle there. I will not be purchasing my next vehicle from Gandrud because of this. read more

They offer bathrooms and vending in the waiting area and sometimes give u a rental while ur car is serviced. Bathrooms are remodeled and they have wifi. Last night my 2015 Chev Cruz that I had purchased 2 years ago from Gandrud would not start after work, was able to get someone to jump my car. I wanted to bring my car to check my battery, I called at 7:00 AM the next morning, The person I talked to told me there were no openings until next Tuesday, he told me to go to Broadway Chevrolet. Came in with what I thought was a bad tire sensor under warrantee. Diagnosis was that the oil change guys the last time did not properly calibrate the sensors after tire rotation so it was a different tire. I was told the tire could only be replaced at a cost of $200+. I refused the 'repair' and took the vehicle to my local mechanic to have the tire plugged, a very common repair w/ a mid-life tire. Your service counselor did not even offer plugging; nor did I think replacing only ONE radial tire mid-life for the whole set was a good idea. The positives from the visit were: everyone was very courteous; and there was no charge. Had the sensors been correctly calibrated during my recent oil change, I would have realized I had a nail, and not even come in (driving all the way across town) in the first place. read more

i brought my car to gandrud for an insurance body work. on pickup the tire was completely flat. punctured. they did patch it half an hour later. thats not what i hold against them though. what i hold against them is that though they repaired the dented side panel theres still a strange rattling noise coming from the point of impact. they didnt open the panel and check (and they wont). so my brand new car - looks like im just going to have to live with this strange rattling noise. read more

I have a Saturn VUE which I brought in for an oil change. I was made aware right away that there was a wait, which I appreciated. The wait time was almost exactly what I was quoted. I was slightly disappointed in which when I was in the waiting room, other customers came in after me & their vehicle was done before mine. I went to pick up the car and it would not start. A mechanic then cleaned the battery posts and used a battery power pack to start the car. I was told it would be fine. I got home and the car would not start. The end of the battery cable was almost completely corroded away. I cannot believe that the car even ran. It's a repetitive story of bringing the car in, being told the tires are fine and the sensor needed to be cleaned, and two weeks later I'm bringing the car in again. The financial group was not interested in working with me to lower the price of the truck that i had bought. It took longer than needed to be to get the financial paperwork together. It was submitted shortly after noon weds. and I was not contacted till 4:00 the next day, only to be told they were still working on it. Then after finishing up the paperwork, I drove my new truck 10 miles away and had a part in the rear brake assembly break, causing the wheel cylinder to lose and spray brake fluid all over the wheel and drive way. I now have a total lack of trust in the service department at Gandrud Chevrolet. I was given coupons with the deal on my truck which are useless because I will never use your service department. Also, when I took my truck in for the brake repair I was given a loaner truck. I was told I had to bring it back with a full tank of gas but I was not given that luxury of a full tank when I purchased the vehicle. read more

My husband and I both only had one day off together and the incentives were ending in less than a week. I spoke with Jared on the phone and informed him of our limited time frame to get this car sale and that we had done business with Gandrud two times previously and wanted to continue doing business with the same company. Jared informed me of Gandrud's price guarentee of the $1,000.00. We went there a couple of hours prior to closing and I showed Jared the email that I received from Broadway and he said that it did not think that it was true and he needed a letter from Broadway with their letter head on it. I said I could even show him through my email and Jared said no. He said that if we are getting that good of a deal we should go to Broadway and buy the car there. With one hour left prior to closing we went to Broadway and purchased the car. I went back a couple of days later to show Jared that I really did get it for the amount that was quoted in the email and he said that they could not do the price guarentee of the $1000.00 because my car that I purchased was the only one with that MSRP and it had to be the same. When I spoke to the manager his resoultion was giving me his business card with a written statement on the back stating that the next car I purchase they will will match Broadway's prices. I think Jared was trying to take advantage of our limited time we had to purchase and that I wanted to keep doing business with the same company. read more
